Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great staff, breakfast, location and very clean rooms.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location. Close to the CN Tower and Rodgers Center. Good continental breakfast. Comfortable bed.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Loved access to Union Station and Scotiabank Arena. Like inclusive breakfast. Liked available drinking water in room and on floor. Loved the rooms and amenities in it.
Cons: I wish the night blinds made the room darker at night. There seemed to be a lot of light coming in the windows even with both shades down.
Good 7.5
Pros: The free breakfast is nice to have when we have a chance to go.
Cons: The room smelled like bad sewage the next day. Then we were switched to another nicer room and then it was fine. The other problem with the hotel is there is one and only bar but does not opem until 4pm. So there is no place to have a drink or hang out until i have to leave for the airport. The hotel staff was nice to tell me to go next door and said it will be opened. When i reached there, it was closed.
Excellent 10.0

Pros: Facilities were excellent, room was comfortable and quiet. Bellmen and Valets were quiet good. Clerks were efficient—with billing error quickly corrected.
Cons: Shortly after arriving we wandered into the library restaurant. There was a sign that said: “Wait to be Seated.” We did so and the hostess asked our Room number and we complied. We were seated and we proceeded to the serve yourself area with plates in hand and a few items on our plate when we were informed by a gentleman that we were not eligible for that restaurant. We said we were sorry and proceeded to return the plates with food on them. We secured our belongings from the table and left. A small sign would have been quite helpful where we entered saying the restaurant had restrictions on who could be seated. We had not been the hotel long at the time and I later read in a publication that restaurant had restrictions. There were no signs posted in the hotel that I could find regarding restaurants that explained the situation. I don’t want to blow this out of proportion but it was somewhat embarrassing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Top notch !
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Rooftop pool on the 28th floor was amazing!
Cons: Honestly, we're booked and paid for a room with 3 guests, but everything from soap and shampoo to bathrobes and coffee cups for the Nespresso machine were for only 2 people. We had to call and request extra supplies.
Okay 4.8
Pros: Clean, modern hotel. Staff very friendly, helpful. Nice amenities in the room: coffee, milk, water, lights, etc.
Cons: Hard to figure out room - controls difficult to find, shower uncomfortable, not enough storage space in room. Hotel is in a deserted wasteland with no restaurants and 1 coffee shop in a mile radius. Toronto is in the middle of a lock-out with the A/V union at the next-door convention center, so every 6:15 am we were woken up by someone shouting through a megaphone at the hotel, saying we should be ashamed of ourselves.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel was amazing. The rooms are huge, clean, comfortable beds and large bathrooms as well. The staff are so kind! They will help you with anything you might need. There are a few restaurants in the hotel and they’re all very tasty. The location is just in the heart of Toronto, a few minutes away from the main attractions. I also very much appreciate them decorating the room with cupcakes and a bottle of wine for my birthday!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I have been in many five star hotels in my travels....yours is a 6 plus ! Every aspect exceeded my expectations. What stood out the most was your staff’s attention to service.Exceptional service. Don’t ever lose that. It makes you stand above the rest.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Rooftop pool Rooms Amenities
Cons: Inexperienced bar staff uneven food offerings

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location, Location, Location. Staying on the Botel in the marina was a great experience. To be in the city but feel like you're not. Walking distance to all major atractions. The area along the water is wonderful with gardens and park like setting. The hosts were fantastic. We stayed in the suite that was roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The boat itself is just beautiful.
Cons: There was nothing not to like. Great host, Beautifull boat. Great location.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: My husband and I just spent 5 nights on the Boatel, it was a truly unforgettable experience. We had a gorgeous ensuite cabin which was spotless and very comfortable. Diane provided us with maps, tour guides, travel passes and lots of useful tips on where to visit and eat etc. Diane’s breakfast were quirky, delicious and always presented with the flair of a first class chef. Captain Ted joined us for breakfast and shared in the banter, he mesmerised us with his tales about his travels in the Bahamas and far flung places. The Boatel was docked in the best entertainment district of Downtown Toronto, close to the CN tower and other local attractions and with a beautiful view of the Toronto Islands. The Boatel was air conditioned and Diane provides an honesty bar which was well stocked. We would definitely recommend this floating delight to anyone wishing to visit Toronto.
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like only having to leave
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The boatel is in a really good location. Near you find a lot of things to do and visit also. Is comfortable, the place and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Is strange to sleep in a boat but is a good experience.
Cons: All is really good. But the only thing is the space of the room. You fit in the room and that’s all. But is really good just to sleep in the nights and do something in the mornings
Excellent 10.0
Pros: the atmosphere, our hosts, ideal location, the chance for getting bikes, lovingly prepared breakfast, the offer to participate in a small boat cruise
Cons: -
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was perfect
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Each morning we enjoyed a delicious home-made breakfast looking out upon the marina, park and public boardwalk. The ever-changing sights and sounds were fascinating. We loved watching runners and dog-walkers, harbor boats and kayakers, seabirds and sunrises, the CN Tower and Toronto's skyline.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was located in the heart of the city, making many attractions and restaurants within easy walking distance. Diane & Ted were very helpful with suggestions about where to go, what to see, etc. And they were able to provide discount tickets to many things. On top of it all, the breakfasts were absolutely amazing - something new and delicious every morning. We are definitely planning to revisit next year.
Cons: It was a minor inconvenience carrying the luggage from the parking area, which was about a quarter mile from the boat.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: the breakfast was v good, Diane's own recipes. The location was excellent although our taxi driver made it a long trip to the address we gave - the Boatel is just where it says on the web and on the lake side of Queens Quay St W opposite Starbucks. The accommodation was cozy but very comfortable. The icing on the cake were the Blue Jay tickets, and they won!
Cons: Not Diane and Teds fault, but if we were to go again we would avoid public holidays, the lake front is just so busy.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The owners are very friendly and will provide tips and information on the city. Their hospitality is uncommon in our days. Though, Breakfast was composed of fruits, vegetables and gluten free, lactose free ingredients, according our request, the owners are very flexible.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful
Cons: Friendly and sincere service
Excellent 10.0
Pros: From the moment you arrive, you are aware you are in a special place. The understated luxury and the attentive but discrete staff mean you can enjoy your stay in the knowledge everything you need is at your fingertips while enjoying as much privacy as you need. The wood-paneled design theme is carried through the hotel from the lobby to your room, which is a haven from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Do ask for a quiet room though as the noise of Toronto's condo construction boom can interrupt the tranquility in some areas (a problem not unique to Le Germain). But the hotel has even thought of that. It helpfully provides ear plugs in the bedrooms for those who are sleep-challenged. It's just one of the many little and big touches that make this hotel an oasis in the entertainment district of Canada's largest city, just a short distance from Toronto's island airport served by the Porter airline.
Cons: 1. Super staff who don't get "in your face" 2. Understated charm of hotel with thoughtful design touches 3. FantastIc bedrooms with plenty of space (judging by our room) 4. Convenient location in Toronto's downtown theatre district and close to waterfront
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved the breakfast included jn closing croissant bagels cheese ham and lots of other extras.
Cons: The in room coffee maker did not work but no big deal.
Good 6.0
Pros: Rooms need a refresh.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: The bose speaker in the room didn’t not have Bluetooth or an aux cable to plug into
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great on site bar and restaurant very welcoming and cosy
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were amazing, very courteous and accommodating.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The hotel is lovely and well appointed. Our room was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was very good, with excellent coffee service, including lattes, etc. Hotel service was terrific, too. Thanks!
Cons: The setup of the shower controls was REALLY difficult to figure out. Very modern and sleek, but we needed to have housekeeping come to show us how they worked. The worst problem is that the symbols showing where to turn the top knob for tub, shower, handheld device are engraved (no contrasting colour) into the stainless steel background. Unless I had my reading glasses on, I couldn't see them at all! Not a good setup for middle-aged and older travellers, even techy ones like me!! The pillows were a lot softer than I like. I probably could have asked for others but I didn't.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The concierge Andrew made great suggestions for dining/drinks. He went the extra mile to fet us a reservation at a restaurant that normally does not take reservations on the same day. He was wonderful!
Cons: Room temperature control.

Pros: location. outside patio
Cons: The shower drain should be fixed.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Noisy construction site nearby, start work everyday at 7am
Excellent 10.0
Pros: View from the room. Proximity to Eaton Centre and Elgin Theatre. Two bathrooms and kitchen facilities TV in both living area and bedroom
Cons: Nothing really.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very clean and fashionable apartment, well appointed and the staff were very friendly and keen to ensure our stay was pleasant
Cons: Our fault, but it was too hot and we didn’t realise that setting the AC to cool would not work. We felt it was too late at night to contact the staff on duty so really we should have done so.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Magnificant customer service. The gentleman at the front desk delivered an out standing customer experience.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: From the moment we arrived and saw the central location of the apartment we were thrilled. The apartments are more like a hotel environment and are finished to a very high standard, from the moment you enter you get the feeling of luxury. The team were so helpful and nothing was a problem. There was always someone on reception up to 10pm and they were so helpful giving us late check out and storing our luggage. The experience from beginning to end was exceptional and we will definitely be going back. For all the ladies who love shopping, the apartments are straight across the road from the Eaton Center. Also a lovely restaurant across the street called Hendricks. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us so well. A super place to stay, we would highly recommend it.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: My boyfriend proposed when we got back to our room from dinner and the staff decorated the room beautifully to surprise me.
Cons: There were a lot of kids at the pool
Excellent 9.6
Pros: This is simply a lovely hotel. It is very centrally located in Toronto and the staff are amazing. They just can't do enough for you. The rooms are spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. I had lunch in the bar which was very good and the menu while small had a very varied choice.
Cons: There is nothing not to like about this hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The customer service
Cons: The toilet
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The best thing about this hotel was the staff. Every person we came in contact with was so friendly and helpful. It was amazing.
Cons: For the price, and this could take into the prices for hotels in the area, I didn't think that the room was worth the price. The view was ok and the overall hotel room was ok. Not fantastic which is what I would expect for the price point.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Service, Location, quality of food in a bar and restaurant, touches of luxury, elegance
Cons: iPad in the room was customized into not being iPad at all. Why misleadingly call it iPad? TV cable practically didn’t work (poor signal) - couldn’t watch movie or sports . Next time should take along an Apple TV or some such and just watch
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The concierge and the staff were outstanding and with most excellent accommodation. Rooms were beautifully appointed and cleaned to perfection everyday. Our concierge Ryan was worth every cnt of staying there.
Cons: The bar reception area became extremely crowded at around 5 to 6 every evening. Very popular place.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Perfectly located, beautiful hotel with wonderful service.
Cons: I was asked at check in, if I would mind not having a bathtub. They should have asked if I minded a wheelchair accessible room to be completely transparent.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Great hotel goos staff
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Customer service, cleanliness and amboence
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Luxury at its finest!!! Truly a five star hotel.
Cons: Didn't stay long enough.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel was lovely and the staff was so incredibly amazing. We traveled with our 1 year old and know it can be tough to have young and unruly hotel guests. They were so welcoming and made us feel like we were the only guests at the hotel.

Pros: I loved everything in the hotel, their service was amazing, very friendly staff. The room service was perfect, the rooms were cleaned a lot of times during the day and it’s like a service I’ve not seen before. The spa is probably the best in Toronto with everything you could ever need, massage, sauna, steam bath, jacuzzis, salted pool and lots of treatments. The club lounge is perfect with the best service.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Staff is so welcoming! Room service menu (and actual food) is amazing. I never have a bad experience at The King Eddy!
Good 7.1
Pros: Good location
Cons: Small room, over priced, nothing special
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The proximity to Union station certainly made finding the hotel very easy and it was a pleasant opportunity to also catch sight of some local venues -- including the Hockey Hall of Fame as well as a plethora of restaurants. Walking into the building, I felt like I was in the wrong place, because what I paid and what I saw made me wonder if I had accidentally booked at the Ritz-Carlton instead. What a beautiful interior! Everything looked high end and the staff greeting me (at one in the morning no less) were phenomenal! They even upgraded my room free of charge! Crashing that early morning onto a nice clean bed, I felt vindicated that, while only staying for two nights, I had made a great decision in my accommodations. This place is certainly one I will look to whenever I get the chance to return to Toronto! Well done everyone :)
Cons: Knowing where the ice machine was took some exploring, but I was okay with it, as it afforded me the opportunity to explore the hotel a bit. When the machine turned out to be broken, the concierge at the desk had ice delivered to my room with no issue -- they even called my room a while later confirming if the ice had been received and whether or not I was satisfied with the service! Very considerate folk.
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved the location! It's walking distance to Nathan Philips Square, Eaton Centre, Union Station and even St. Lawrence Market! The rooms are impeccably clean, and the suite has a kitchenette equipped with two burners, fridge and dishwasher plus everything you would need to cook right in your room! The bed was so comfortable! And the pillows had good weight to it! We had a beautiful view of the lake shore and surrounding skyscrapers which was lovely!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: One King West is a lovely hotel , comfortable rooms especially the beds. The staff are very helpful and friendly and can not do enough for you. Excellent location downtown Toronto.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Great staff. perfect location. Fantastic price and amazing room. Loved it.
Cons: Bed was a bit short.. lol
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff was great - they upgraded the room and sent a little treat for my daughter as it was her birthday weekend! I would definitely stay here again -and highly recommend!! Thank you!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very nice and professional staff; big, clean room; nice toiletries; comfy bed; easy check-in and checkout. Nice view from the large windows.
Cons: There was some dirt under the drapes. The kichenette could have been equipped with more items to make cooking a more feasible option, but the staff did bring some additional cookware on request.
Good 7.0
Pros: The staff were excellent, location was excellent and it was nice to have the kitchenette.
Cons: The thermostat had to be set at 25 degrees or the room got too cold.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Couldn’t beat the experience & price that was paid
Cons: It was perfect
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Handy kitchenette in the room.
Good 7.0
Pros: My room was nicely equipped to meet tiny needs: I had a stove, a coffee machine, many lamps to adjust the lighting, and even a mouthwash. For a big hotel, the ceiling was really high, which gave a nice feeling of having a lot of space. The staff was friendly and responsive to immediate needs (like printing, bringing a shaving kit, etc.). The very central location is also a definite plus.
Cons: I didn’t have any view out of my window as it was facing a huge parking lot or something alike. The room service was rather satisfying, although I didn’t expect them to decide for me the amount of tips I wish to give and include it all in the bill prior to giving it to me. In the middle of the night, a fire alarm went off, which wasn’t very pleasant; although I understand its importance in a case of a real emergency, I’d appreciate if the information about whether to leave the room or stay inside was communicated more rapidly than it was.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The place had a nice kitchenette, with even a washing machine and a dishwasher. Although I was only there for a couple of days, I can imagine it's excellent for traveling with family or a long-term stay. The staff, including the cleaning staff, were all super nice.
Cons: Everything was great.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: It was perfect
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff was super friendly and helpful. In suite laundry was major bonus to wash and dry running gear before packing into suitcase. Room comfortable, well appointed. Historical building was neat, lobby nice, convenient location downtown. Valet parking was expensive but necessary as there appeared nothing convenient around. Well suited to transit and walking. Views were fantastic from 36th floor suite, and gym was great, with super views, on 17th floor. Sandwich/pastry shop off lobby was good, Starbucks immediately across street.
Cons: No in suite breakfast option, so either be prepared (and make use of in suite kitchen), hit restaurant downstairs (which seemed expensive), or plan for pastry or coffee shop mere steps away.

Good 6.0
Pros: Breakfast was great and staff was friendly.
Cons: The room was very dark with no daylight since it overlooked the field. Terrible, felt like it was always the night. The check in person didn't provide the breakfast vouchers upon check in and didn't know the layout of the hotel.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Excellent staff, very friendly & helpful. Had dinner in the hotel and it was fine. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very nice room and the hotel is in a great location for tourist activities
Cons: Drapes cords were tied together high above your head (i.e. ceiling was about 20' high). As a result, the drapes could not be opened and prevented you from looking out the window. Was later advised that this was not intended as normal practice.

Pros: Nice hotel on the edge of the downtown core, an easy walk to restaurants and bars on King Street West, Queen Street West, Chinatown and Kensington Market. Hotel is low-rise and relatively small, which is a plus for me. Easy, but somewhat expensive parking underground with direct access to hotel. Luxury room was comfortable and spacious.

Pros: Good location
Cons: Faded , dated
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Clean well appointed
Cons: Not great lighting in hallway or room
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great and helpful service. Big room for a great value. Heated bathroom floor. Modern design and amenities. Well located at 15 min walk from billy bishop airport. The rooftop has a superb view of the cn tower.
Cons: When entering the hotel at night, there’s always the bouncers and waiting list of the club on the hotel’s rooftop just next to the entrance. That was only a very little annoyance, and we never had problems nor heard noise of the club from our room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Atmosphere and luxurious
Cons: Habachi service
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Front desk abra was amazing
Good 6.0
Pros: The room was spacious and clean, very comfortable bed. Nice view of the Space Needle.
Cons: It was way too loud! I had no idea this is a party hotel. On all three nights, there were people shouting on the street and heavy traffic from 3-4am. On Saturday, a fight even broke out and cop cars showed up. Granted that it was the weekend, but if I had known that it would turn into a club scene, I probably would've picked a different hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We could see the CN tower from our room.
Cons: We had a plugged sink.
