The staff were great - very helpful and efficient. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
We had 2 rooms and my husband was in the 2nd room. The people next door were pretty noisy the first night we were there and it was hard to sleep. It was much better the 2nd night.
The hotel is ideally located across from the Four Seasons Center and easily accessible from the PATH underground network. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and the views from the higher floors are stunning. The morning of my departure the fire alarm went off, but the hotel handled the matter extremely well, keeping the guests informed by PA of the evolution of the situation, and everything was over within 5 minutes.
This may not be the hotel’s fault, but I came from Union Station with the PATH on a Saturday afternoon and most of the escalators were shut down, which made carrying my luggage difficult. The last escalator, leading to the hotel, was the worst part of the trip. If they are going to save money on weekends by not having the escalators work, they should announce it; I would gladly have walked in the cold, rather than carry my bags up various flights of stairs... Again, this is not the hotel’s doing, but an annoying experience trying to get to the hotel without facing the extreme cold...
Check-in was very smooth and all staff we encountered were friendly. There was an issue with one of our keys not working, but this was quickly resolved. The "Scenic Elevators" are pretty neat!
There was quite a lot of noise from cars honking and Police, Fire and Ambulance sirens, even 20 floors up. The windows don't seem to cancel outside noise very well. We were also offered a CN Tower view, but there were buildings blocking it from our view.
Rather long check in process.
The hotel was clean and well taken care of.
The room phone did not work and it was difficult to get a hold of front desk. Parking is NOT included.
