Location is great, many restaurants around and metro line quite close. Great view. A Starbucks and Dean and Deluca in the building. Very classy, breakfast very enjoyable too.

Cons: Everything about the property was really nice. Our stay was adversely affected by some really poor advice from the concierge, who sent us to a very overpriced restaurant and led us to believe that the dress code everywhere in Tokyo was very formal, something our booking agent laughingly dispelled the next morning, setting my whole family back at ease. Once we no longer used the concierge we had great food experiences in Tokyo.

Cons: Lots of “rules” spoiled our stay. We were unable to have a drink anywhere in the hotel with our teenage children after 6pm. Under 18s are not allowed to use the pool. Again ridiculous. Over 14 would be a better policy. Extremely expensive for what it was.

Cons: A third of the room's view was of the roof (of the main building) which was beyond disappointing considering the view was the reason I booked the room. So if the view is important to you, then upgrade the room (which we would have done but was told the hotel was full), check in very early or stay somewhere else. They should market these rooms as partial views to avoid disappointment. Other than that, the room was nice. But then again, there are nice rooms all over Tokyo for a lot less money.

Cons: My wife and I went to the pool area where the staff were very rude....WE were told in this huge hotel that only 8 people are allowed in the pool at any time...We were told to stand and wait..after 15 mins we were allowed into the pool, My wife and I got into the spa and no one else was in the spa, i attempted to take a photo of my wife in the spa and a staff member ran out rudely gave me a card telling me no photography ..like what ?? Im taking a picture of my wife in a spa by herself in a hotel we spent $1000 a night for...give me a break....

Pros: This hotel is located in the tallest building in Tokyo and it offers incredible views of the city! The rooms are breathtaking and I have never experienced such incredible, all encompassing service. The concierge offered us the best sightseeing advice and we had one of the most memorable dinners in their Japanese Michelin Starred Restaurant. Oh and there's a fantastic 24hr Grocery Store located in the super posh MidTown Shopping Center adjacent to the hotel. I have to also say that compared to other Ritz-Carlton Hotels I have stayed at around the world... this is by far the best of their Hotels properties!

Cons: i had booked a non-smoking suite. the room had clearly been smoked in - an air purifier was by the bed when i got to the room. not cool at all. the fact that there are still smoking rooms that can be 'changed' into non-smoking? plus, had an issue with business card request. hotel itself is beautiful but dealing with unexpected issues not very good-especially for the price.

The hotel is modern but still has very traditional Japanese accents, which gave it authentic energy. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and the concierge provided helpful recommendations for dinner and activities. The bed is firm but comfortable and the Tower View is a MUST, worth the additional cost. The bathroom is spacious and well designed and the robes were the best! Also, the daily refills of complimentary wasabi crackers were a nice touch. We did breakfast in the morning at the hotel and it was delicious! If you have time, be sure to check out the pool and the spa on the lower floor.

Cons: Honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had internationally. I did not try the restaurant, and sometimes the elevators took a while to arrive (since you have to change to get to hotel guest elevators), but overall it was a seamless stay.

The city view from our room was beautiful at night.

Pros: The hotel was a quiet oasis of comfort. Conveniently located in a more business oriented area near train and metro stations, everything Tokyo has to offer is easily accessible. There is an indoor lounge and outdoor terrace with complimentary nonalcoholic beverages available around the clock. The rooms are comfortable and toiletries are plentiful. The city view from our room was beautiful at night.

Cons: I don't want to go into a lot of detail, but there's an issue with a damp smell extending through to the 10th floor (as far as I can tell). As such my bedroom had that smell of dampness. Considering I was paying around £450 per night I'm disappointed about this. That said they offered me another room, but it was on a much higher floor which I do not like. Consequently I needed to put up with this smell (although you do get used to it after a while). This is why it's obviously not good value (for me), as this is a 5 star hotel with high ish prices.

Pros: I was blown away by the opulence of the hotel - it even has it's own shopping arcade and the Japanese gardens are beautiful. We only stayed one night, unfortunately, so didn't have time to really explore the hotel this time, but would definitely stay there again next time. The airport shuttle stops there for Narita airport and it is a short walk to Yotsuya train station which is only three stops from Tokyo central station. The staff were all extremely helpful and accommodating.

The location was outstanding it was just 4 stops via the Ginza line to Shibuya, but far enough away so that it was a peaceful place to stay. Just a short walk to the station was a super bonus. We loved it so much that on our return to Tokyo, just a few days laters (short visit to Nagoya and Kyoto) My son demanded we stay here again..so this was home for the last two days of our trip. The staff even remembered my son. Needless to say for the value, location and security, this is hard to beat. Perfect for our trip.

The hotel is excellent, very roomy and update. It offers all what a ordinary traveler needs and beyond. Its location is great right in the middle of several subway stations, only Meguro station and takaniwa station are within walking distance. But, scheduled hotel buses taking hotel guests to Meguro and Shinagawa station is an excellent way to help hotel guests move around.
Do your homework and find out what time the airport limousine bus can take you from airports to Miyako Hotel before you buy airline tickets. Because the bus schedule is very odd. I came to Miyako from Tokyo Haneda Airport, the airport limousine bus only runs twice in the morning and once in the late evening (Good for red eyed flight guests). If you come to the hotel any time between those schedules, you need to find out what is the nearest hotel or subway stations to Miyako the airport bus can take you to, then take taxi from there to Miyako.

Cons: Restaurants were extremely expensive but I completely understand as it is in an area that is very upscale. The bed was too low to the ground....the mattress was too firm...the pillows too soft. My back hurt every night. The lobby had very few chairs to sit down during peak times. Staff warm and friendly...but ambience was a bit cold.

Pros: It was close to the station and some nice restaurants just outside the hotel.
Cons: We stayed on reward points as ambassadors. We were treated appallingly. The room was average for the type of hotel we were staying in. The staff were quite standoffish, considering we had just come from Intercontinental Delete repeated word Bay where the service was outstanding and we could not fault a single thing it was a huge disappointment to be treated like this. When we went for dinner in the restaurant we were not even offered a drinks or wine list the whole meal and they forgot my meal altogether. When they cleaned the room they left dirty dishes behind. I never complain about anywhere that I stay but it was enough to taint my holiday. When we checked out they did not even ask us how the stay was. We are Platinum members.

Cons: The swimming pool is not free for the guests. It is $2000 yen entry fee which I’m not really happy about it. There is no gym at the hotel. The kettle in the room is only 0.6L which is nothing to drink. Btw the bathroom was not completely clean because i could see soap mark in the tank which is not very professional. Overall I like this hotel though. Next time I will stay longer to discover more.

Akasaka Mitsuke subway station is about 3 blocks away, just a couple minutes walk. From that station it's a short ride to get to the Imperial Palace, Meiji Shrine and tons of other must see tourist locations in Tokyo.
Beds were comfy and the room was nice, but remember rooms in Tokyo are on average going to be a bit smaller than you might expect from other places. My friend and I are big guys, both around 6' 1" and we were plenty comfy in the room. We were there mostly to sleep and shower, the fun was to be had out exploring Tokyo.
There's laundry and vending machines on the third floor which was handy.
Overall we were impressed with the Centurion Hotel Grand for the price and the location. If in Tokyo again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

If you can managed to get a room on the back side of the hotel, I would recommend it. My room was so quiet. It was perfect. The hotel staff were very nice. They were able to direct me to where I needed to go when I had to buy a few things for my trip.
Getting there from Narita airport was easy. I just bought a ticket on the appropriate limousine bus for 3100 yen. Yes, that's slightly more expensive than the Keisei Skyliner, but it drops you off at the front door of this hotel. It's worth the extra 600 yen to not have to carry my luggage through the train stations from where the Keisei Line drops you off. And it's way cheaper than a cab.

Cons: Nobody helped me to find the reception, a lot of noises also even the staff said to me the room are sound proof this was not the truth. You can hear clearly the noises from lateral, above and below. People came and leaving in the night, made a lot of noises, nobody cares, even I told the staff they don't care. Instead to silence me they sent me beers in the room which I refused. Cleaning is not as expected, toilet and room should be clean consistently. Even I booked 3 nights I stayed only one night, I found another hotel in Tokyo.

Pros: Location is best, easy to walk from train station and to all the shopping area. Service staff was great, the room wasn’t clean and was dusty when I checked in and the reception was apologetic and upgraded me to a room. Will stay here again when in Shibuya

Pros: Hotel in prime location, 2 minute walk via footpath to the main plaza and shopping malls. Excellent service, the staff are very friendly and speak English. The hotel has a luggage delivery service (extra charge) but makes travelling very easy! The room was clean, stylish and very functional. Big walk-in shower and helpful information in Japanese and English. Breakfast is very simple but suitable for a quick bite before sight-seeing, and the hosts are wonderful.

Cons: Our room would have been too small for a family--make sure you have a sense of size or layout before booking.

Cons: The bathrooms could have been cleaner, we stayed in two different types of rooms and both had mould growing on the bathroom walls - in one room it was particularly bad. The first room we stayed in was also tiny but I think that’s quite standard for Tokyo.
