Tokyo hotels near Tokyo Geijutsu Gekijo

Pros: We loved our apartment in Japanese style, very spacious especially for Japanese standard and clean with all the comfort you need. Dinner was served in time and there was always a choice. We had open air bath which we appreciated. Relaxation room with massage chairs was also great. Definitely worth visiting.

Pros: Breakfast is tasteful, it would be great if there has more items can be chose in either in Japanese or western style as my family stayed there for 3 days but 3 days the same contents, add some different choice please. I love the outdoor bath can keep privacy it is excellent. Location is quite convenience and walkable, really like this small town and will come again for sure.

Pros: Staff were super helpful, and breakfast was amazing PLEASE get the breakfast, I re booked another night and forgot to get it, I was quite sad. you have either the western style or Japanese style and they are both amazing and will either be a warm welcome or a reminder of home. I got the room with the open air bath for two of my stays and received different rooms on each, so I got to check out 2 of the open air bath suites. The first one 105, was excellent, the bath was lovely and clean, with amazing shampoos, body soap, and conditioner, there is also a small stool and bucket so you can try a traditional Japanese style of washing yourself which was fun but I’ll stick to the removable shower head, the tatami Mats were clean and so was everything else, they had amazing amenities including a comb, men’s hair wax and stylers, face lotions, scrunchies, etc. they had free water bottles in the fridge ( night not seem like much but I stayed another 5 star hotel in Japan and they wanted to charge me 300¥ each bottle. ) which they will replace when needed, their staff understood excellent English and were more than helpful in accommodating me and my partner. They called a taxi for us and had him waiting in the courtyard multiple times, (one other hotel told us to go to a Main Street and look for one so this was highly appreciated). They have great WiFi, kimonos to wear, and a separate smoking room in the hotel because rooms are non smoking. The hotel was more than excellent. If you stay here you need to get the room with the private bath, and breakfast!

Pros: Loved being in a Tokyo neighborhood. It felt like being in Brooklyn instead of midtown. Shopping was amazing. We also loved all the restaurants here which were a bit cheaper than others we had in Tokyo. And the Michelin starred ramen was an added bonus!

Pros: Very nice to be across the street from Otsuka station which has subway & Trolley. Hotel lobby & dining area is beautiful. Big windows with lots of natural light in the rooms. Wonderful staff. Would recommend staying here!

Pros: the garden and neighborhood was really nice. clean room. the check out time was noon so we didn't have to rush ourselves in the morning.

Pros: We stayed here last minute due to the typhoon. We had previously stayed in their hotel on Hiroshima. Hotel was grand and luxurious, great leisure facilities and Onsen for extra charge. Room was very big and well equipped. Breakfast was good

Pros: Lovely posh old-style (not a bad thing, just old-style compared to the super modern hotel I am now in) hotel. Suite was very large, nice, and well-appointed. Staff was extremely polite and helpful (more so than at my current even more upscale hotel).

Pros: The property was elegant and well maintained. There was a floral aroma in the air and displays of fresh flowers throughout. The rooms were very clean and our suite was incredibly spacious. Staff was wonderful and the access to the park outside was fantastic. We had coffee, green tea, Ceylon tea, and plum kelp tea in plentiful supply as well as creamer and sugar. I would have liked to see Stevia but I brought my own as most places overseas don’t carry this sweetener. The cleaning staff did a fantastic job and kept the bathroom supplies well stocked. The mini bar had a good variety even though we opted not to partake, so we set the items to the side, as we needed the fridge. We did have to have ice brought up as there is no ice machine on the floors. Transportation was provided to just a limited area. Overall, this was a great hotel.

Pros: The shuttle bus was handy although, there are no signs to tell you were the shuttle bus stops at the train station when you arrive for the first time. The breakfast was very good. The staff are very nice too.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent. My original room was a quite nice, though I was moved to a different room the second night when they finally gave my wife keys to the room.

Pros: The onsen was nice but full of people who didn’t know how to behave in an onsen (one lady was taking photographs). The “little gifts” for women were a nice touch. Cold water available on every floor was useful. Location was ok - close to Ikebukuro station but not the nicest district (on the other side of the tracks/station is much nicer). Still good value for the money.

Pros: Helpful staff, Sento,short walk from station.good breakfast at extra cost , worth it. Coffee machine in lobby, and fruit flavoured chilled water dispenser in the lobby. The Sento was great for relaxing. This area has good transport links. All the amenities provided

Pros: The room was clean, the beds are more towards the harder end but very comfortable for me. There are extra pillows downstairs with different level of firmness. You can chose free face masks and other cosmetics during your stay. The rooms are very small but that was expected and even with five suitcases we managed just fine.

Pros: We had a good sized, comfy room and a sitting area with a view of the city and beyond. The hotel is conveniently connected to a shopping mall with many restaurants, and an aquarium, and a partial underground walkway to the subway station. There’s also a convenience store just outside the lobby where you can buy snacks, drinks, souvenirs, cosmetics, and over-the-counter meds.

Pros: Renovated beautifully. Very clean and comfortable. Limousine bus to/from both Narita/Haneda aipport is convenient, and the baggage service is excellent.

Pros: I choose this hotel as I was there for rugby and it was where England Rugby Travel were based. It is a very large western style hotel with several restaurants, a shop etc. A big advantage was the Limo Bus service from the airport stopped outside and we were able to book a return trip. You do not want to travel on the railway with several large cases.
