Tokyo hotels near Sunshine Aquarium

Cons: We booked four rooms (2 families) 4-5 months prior our arrival. The room arrangement given to us 2 rooms next to each other and the other 2 in different floor level. They aware each family going to occupy 2 rooms during our booking and yet they can't arrange the other 2 rooms next to each other or at least the same floor. Eventually the other family has to take the smoking rooms in order to stay next to each other. No smiling face from the male front desk staff.

Cons: Nothing.

Cons: Keep up the excellent service.

Cons: Far from the main areas of Tokyo (Shinjuku, Shibuya etc) roughley a 30 min train ride. There is a train station at the front door to the hotel which is very conveniant but this is not a JR station so if you have the JR pass you can not use it here.

Cons: Garden is beautiful and great as always, and the hotel location is great as long as a bus is frequently available between hotel and Shinagawa JR station. A bus between Takanawa Prince and Shinagawa Prince was not so valuable. King size bed was too big for Tokyo Tower side rooms, leaving so limited space for walk around in the room. Indeed, I bumped into furniture and bed too many times. There was no room to open two baggages at the same time. Cleaning of the room was not sufficient. Particularly, in the bath room. Room lighting was also poor. Breakfast was quite expensive for what were served. Many plates were empty and even salad dressings were gone empty. I needed to point it out to a server and to wait for salad dressing for a few minutes. Over-all impression was quite disappointing this time, although cherry blossom was fantastic. MakS

Cons: The interior of my room was quite old. The desk varnish was gone and the room was pretty smelly.

Cons: Late at night the area is a little seedy with lots of people out drinking and partying. But if you’re smart you can ignore it.

Cons: I didn't like that I had to pay for another room coz my kids are 17 and 15. when I checked In the host told me to get another room .. I have a 15yr old with special needs and the fact that he didn't understand that was beyond me. I also understand the language barrier. I didn't like I got split up with my kids and they are strict on who stays with whom. It was diffenatly a culture shock. We ended up staying somewhere else coz they were expensive. It would have cost me another thousands of dollar for another room.

Cons: Smelly room. Low quality linens. Solid rock mattress. Outdated. Air conditioner disconnected on purpose because Japan was in winter season, according to the front desk personnel. Pricey meals. I won't repeat it.

Cons: Did not find a bar or lounge open for alcoholic beverages in the afternoon after arrival

Cons: I just didn’t like Is no free bottle of water,just bothers me too when I check in, the person in front of me have a 2 bottle of water gave from the counter. Maybe because they couple I don’t know.

Cons: The room was smaller than any room I have ever seen, cruise ships have bigger rooms than here. I felt extremely claustrophobic and the pictures on here are extremely misleading.

Cons: breakfast buffet was not that good. very basic options, low on fruit options.

Cons: -room was dated (opposite of lobby) - and was humid and moldy / dank smelling when we got in -wifi signal was terrible.

Cons: Rooms are dated and in need of an update. Check-in procedure quite regimented, with a strict check-in time. I can understand why from a staff perspective, but not so good from a customer service perspective.

Cons: Dated decor, moldy bathrooms, bad flourescent lighting, stuffy rooms, poor food, stern airport drivers, low-class guests, unsecure doors with no key cards and old fashioned keys

Cons: I was a bit confused with using the door card to power on or off with everything in the room.

Cons: Breakfast not included in price Some extras (such as laundry) were extremely expensive

Cons: The attention to detail made the stay so much better.
