It is very grand and in a great location near Hibiya Park and the Imperial Palace, plus an easy walk to the shops and restaurants of Ginza. The staff were extremely polite, almost uncomfortably so (lots of deference and bowing, which as an Australian I am not used to and which we didn’t get in more modern places in Tokyo).
It was very overpriced and very dated. It seemed very stale and stuffy. We went to the cheapest restaurant in the hotel (the diner) and paid AUD$14 for a Coke and AUD$15 for an average tasting coffee. I felt so ripped off I wanted to cry. There were lots of businessmen and older people there. We splurged as a special final night in Japan but it was definitely not our scene, and we came away feeling disappointed.
The facilities and staff were excellent from when we arrived to the moment we left.
We had a suite which had twin beds, which was fine for our kids but not so fine for us.

The beds were to hard. The restaurants were very expensive Club facilities limited
The room was adequate in size but it was superbly fitted out. The bathroom was top class. The staff were impeccable: polite, friendly, resourceful and always welcoming. It is a top shelf 5 star hotel.
All restaurants were exorbitantly priced. For a 5 star hotel charging to use the swimming pool is absurd. Our room cost over $AU600 per night
The hotel was awesome. The rooms are big, comfortable and clean. I absolutely loved the bathroom. The shower and bath were amazing!
