Pros: Being able to come to Japan for my honeymoon after many years following first viewing of “Lost in Translation” I expected the hotel to be something of a sancted temple of nostalgia for me - with its design, sounds, views and staff. As I do not want to make this review into an essay - I will only tell that it completely fulfilled the expectations I came with. The staff is friendly in a very natural and casual way, the way they handle you is just extraordinarily in an ‘feel more at home than home” manner, and the facilities know from the movie continue to amaze after the hotel’s 25th anniversary. It is the most luxurious of the hotels I stayed in, it did not age at all and it is something that everyone visiting Tokyo should at least see for a night or just a visit to one of it’s restaurants and/or the New York Bar. I sincerely hope I will ever be able to come back here again. The cherry on the top was how our honeymoon was handled when disclosed to staff - memories me and my wife will cherish forever.

Pros: Exquisite hotel, upgraded to the diplomatic suite which was amazing. Views of Tokyo were surreal. Expensive but worth the treat if you can afford. Friendly staff and great location to walk to near activities. Dinner at the New York Bar was a tick off the to do list and did not disappoint.

Pros: We have stayed at 5 star hotels in France, Ireland, Australia and NZ and this was a cut above in relation to the service we were treated to. Where to start? The staff were incredible. From arriving at the hotel we were escorted up to the reception on the 41st floor with the concierge describing the dining options as we walked past the restaurants. As we were celebrating my birthday, we were allocated a room facing Mt Fuji on the 47th floor. We enjoyed the pool with our sons and we were offered complimentary goggles if required. We decided to order room service (which my husband and children love but I hate as the quality is always bad and you know you are paying too much for mediocre food). I was completely wrong with my assumption! The food was delicious - genuinely delicious. The waiter delivered the food with a flower on the table. There was a complimentary French chocolatier dessert and a hand written not for my birthday as well as a platter of strawberries. The meals were fantastic! We were also delivered a hamper with childrens bathrobes, button up pajamas, toiletries and small hangers for childrens clothing. There was also a complimentary shoe shine service!

Pros: The hotel is very well located

Pros: The location of this hotels is perfect, it is in the middle of everything in Shinjuku. While it is thriving, lively area outside, the rooms are quiet on the inside. The rooms come with blackout curtains to keep out the bright light. It is a 5 minute walk to Shinjuku station. there is a 7 Eleven conveniently located on the ground floor. You can easily walk to many department stores, Omoide Yokocho, Golden Gai, Shinjuku Gyoen, the Tolkyo Met. Gov't Building and more. The bathrooms are awesome and the twin rooms are quite spacious.

Pros: Will definitely stay at this great hotel in the thick of all the bars, restaurants and malls. 10/10 for location, quality and price.

Pros: Location can’t be beaten. In the heart of Shinjuku and right next to the main shopping area, definitely the best place to stay for location. Staff are extremely friendly, attentive and provide great service. Cleanliness is good with a great size bathroom: only downside is the room side and space in the room itself, fairly compact - so those wanting more space would be find somewhere bigger. Bed and pillows provided could be better, bed is rock hard and pillows vary from too soft to rock hard too. Apart from the issues, highly recommended

Pros: GREAT location, kindest and helpful staff in the lobby and at restaurants! Assisted with daily itineraries and suggestions on how to navigate the city and different areas!

Pros: Very good location in the center of Shinjuku, about 10 minutes away from the train station and taxi service outside. Had an ATM and 7-11 attached to it. All the amenities a person could need, toothbrush, hair brush l, razor shaving cream, free bath salts for everyday I stayed. Shampoo conditioner and body wash smelled great. Shower and bath were awesome! 1rst floor breakfast was the way to go, 8th floor cafe was nice but had less variety than the other. Staff knew English, and the concierge service was great for booking and easy airport limousine back to HND airport. Very close to robot resturant and bars that are open 24 hours.

Pros: Loved our stay at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku! Room was comfortable and we were on the 29th floor so the views a were amazing. Location was great and close to restaurants and shops and train stations. The room was cleaned daily which was nice to come back to each night. Would highly recommend!

Pros: Comfortable bed, good size room and hanging space. Good bathroom. Accessable laundry with ample machines. TV programmes available in English. The location was excellent for transport, for nightlife and restaurants.

Pros: Good location and helpful staff. We got our snowboard bag transported to the hotel a few days prior to our check in and the hotel was happy to store it until our arrival- we were very impressed by this service.

Pros: Great little hotel in an excellent location. Right in Shinjuku at the entrance to Golden Gai. Five minute or less walk to Shinjuku JR station. At first we were worried about the size of the room but after long days exploring Tokyo all you really need to do in the room is sleep. If you like a firm mattress you will LOVE this bed. We slept better here than at home! Bathroom was very clean, and we loved the separate shower/bath concept. Ate at the breakfast buffet a few times, which had a good balance of western and Japanese foods to try. Most of the breakfast spots nearby don't open until 10-11 so consider buying the breakfast at check-in if you are an early eater.

Pros: It's a very good location...15 minute walk from Shinjuku but in a quiet area (warning: there are no restaurants on your doorstep apart from the hotel one which is very expensive). The hotel is located very much in the corporate district with skyscrapers surrounding the area, but it's a nice easy walk to the main station. The hotel itself is great, very welcoming and clean with all the cool elements of a minimalist space. The bakery attached to the hotel is excellent, we had a great cheese toasty for breakfast and it was really good value. The staff were friendly

Pros: We booked a “Hollywood” room which comes with a queen size bed and is slightly larger (17m2). It’s Japan so you need to adjust your expectations: rooms and bathrooms are small but we got used to it, actually they are really functional. The hotel is located in a quiet area across a park that’s in front of the Tokyo government building. It’s a 15min walk to Shinjuku station but there’s a closer subway station (Ochomae) that’s 5 min away. The breakfast buffet is amazing! We feasted on it every day. They also have a cool bar and the vibe is relaxed yet trendy. You see many people on their laptops at the large communal table in the lobby. Also, You can also rent bikes there but we did not. There is a Family Mart in the same street and there are 24-hr laundromats in the backstreet which was very convenient.

Pros: During my stay, I got sick from my stomach. Once the staff knew about my illness, the staff was attentive and went as far as to check up on me to see how I was doing. That's not only great service, but a gold standard in taking care of the customer. I will definitely go back to this hotel when I go back to Tokyo. I will recommend this hotel to others.

Pros: Good, practical hotel that is not too hard on the wallet. Most of the staff we experienced were always friendly and helpful. LOVED the convenience of the shuttle bus. Without it, the long walk from the train station would have been quite an inconvenience.

Pros: I loved how central the location was, it was right next to the station exit! It was just the right distance away from the central road without being too far to get to. I also liked the room, it was just the right size for a solo traveller on a weekend getaway. The Royal Host restaurant attached to the hotel was also very convenient, so you could have your meals there without venturing too far away.

Pros: My experience here was excellent. The staff was awesome, friendly, efficient, professional in every way. The rooms were quite clean. Mine might have been a tad small for a couple, but for just myself it was fine. It is located about 15 steps away from exit B@ of Higashi Shinjuku station on the F line of Tokyo train system. The price is fair and I would highly recommend it and will stay again myself when I return to Tokyo.
