Customer service at the counter was friendly and fast, however the return instructions were unclear. No one came down to check out the car with us, and the garage was dark - we didn’t realize until the 2nd day that there were cracks in the windshield and the driver’s seat didn’t adjust. Doubt if anybody ever reads these. So let's try this. The car had a major shake at 55 mph and higher. Front tires needed to be replaced very little tread left on the tire. Based on my experience it was either a bad tire or somebody curbed it on the last rental. I would also like to mention that the front windshield had a dime size divot/crack and also should be replaced.Reviewed 30 May 2023

It's not a great experience, be very careful please, I will never book with kayak again, too many hidden traps, stay away with all 3rd parties, I will definite book through all hotels, flight and car rental directly, maybe you gonna spent tinny bit more money, sometimes the price are even cheaper, but get ride of all panic and stress created by those hidden traps !Reviewed 3 May 2023

It was MY mistake that when I booked, I didn't realize that my pickup was not at the airport. I dragged 2 suitcases from LAX to Century Blvd. - a mile over uneven, cracked sidewalks with grass growing through them in places. Cars are retrieved from a parking garage several floors below the hotel; no one is there for any kind of assistance or to check the vehicle. To find it, each client must roam around pushing the alarm button on the key fob. What? Returning the vehicle was even worse - 2 GPS apps couldn't find the location. There is construction all around the area and lanes are blocked off. The entrance is under the Hilton hotel via an obscure alleyway. After driving 6 floors underground, I had to SEARCH to find a spot to park. I think I may have found the lone available spot. Cars were parked where there weren't even spaces! Again, no one to guide, assist, or check the vehicle in. I went to the rental desk in the lobby and was told that the receipt would be emailed; I haven't yet received it. THEN there was a long wait for the airport shuttle, and because of all this I MISSED MY 10:50 am FLIGHT, and the next one wasn't until 11:59 PM! We were not given directions on how to get from the airport to the Rental car place so ended up walking 20 minutes with bags to Hilton. Also the car we received had trash and didn’t look like it was cleaned. Pickup and drop-off of the car was fast and easy though. Nice staff too.Reviewed 21 Apr 2023

Arrived at location only to be told no cars were available. They said there were cars on the way but no eta and no idea what kind of cars. Called Hertz customer service and she said take an Uber back to the airport(had just taken an Uber from the airport) and there MIGHT be a car available. She also said would cost an extra $500. Ask to speak with a supervisor. She said none were available but one would call me. That was six days ago. Still no call.Reviewed 21 Apr 2023

We got to the location at 10:00 am and waited 45 minutes in line, once at the desk already 10:45 we were told that our reservation was for 12:00 and they could not change the time and cannot give us the car at that time that the earliest would be 11:30 (45 minutes later). he sent us to the back of the line and we waiter for 1 hour and 15 minutes, so we reached the desk at 12:15. where is customer service Hertz? are you telling me that the car we rented was not available at 10:45? only one agent at the desk and the supervisor kept coming out but not helping at all. It seems that nobody cares about customer service or the long wait. Time is money Hertz for you and everyone else. I would never use Hertz again.!Reviewed 20 Apr 2023
