There was no airport shuttle. This place is a scam. I had to go to another car rental and am seeking reimbursement.

None of the REQUIRED additional fees were included in the base rate. I was required to purchase RLP (rental liability protection) in addition to CDW-ICAR (car damage waiver) and CF (?) for a whopping total of $48/day, nearly TWICE as much as my daily rental rate. I typically utilize my credit card to cover my rental insurance, with my primary insurance as back up, but they do not allow for it. Let alone, the coverage doubles down unnecessarily on itself, but the fact that this is not communicated on Kayak or elsewhere until you read the printed paper at the front desk is terrible. Also the shuttle there requires you to take the local bus to a stop where they pick you up and take you the rest of the way. Just bad

Beware. This popped up as an option and we were desperate to get a car for a day. Drop off and pick up location separate from airport with no shuttle. Office closed early and did not open until 8am with no after hours contacts. Car was in bad shape with lots of miles.

Unfortunately the rental office was not ready to handle what seemed to be multiple reservations on a Friday afternoon. It took two hours before we were able to get the rental vehicle. The vehicle we rented was a standard size SUV, we got a 2018 Dodge Journey with a questionable condition tire, bad wipers and the car engine was just horrible to drive in the LA freeways. We rented the car to drive up to mammoth mountain, and the experience was awful with this vehicle; luckily it didn’t break down. I would not recommend this location for rentals in LA.

Be aware that the shuttle bus to this agency, a shabby office a mile and a half from the airport, departs from a different location (a pink sign) than those buses serving other car rental offices. A long wait for us, so we ended up grabbing a taxi to get there. Be aware too that once you are there the office requires tangible proof of insurance - when my card wasn't sufficient unto this purpose, they made me call my insurance company so they could talk to it themselves. The guy in the line next to me was so outraged by their demands he started shouting, and they cancelled the reservation right then and there. ("We are calling the police," the woman at the desk said. And he said, "You're calling the police? I'm calling the police! I am the one calling the police.") The windshield on our car wasn't quite sealed - we felt a steady small draft of air, as we drove around.

This is a terrible rental. You have to take a bus to a shuttle and the staff is surly and unhelpful . They rope you into takin their insurance which doubled the cost of the rental. The car sounded like it was going to fall apart. If you return after hours you have no transport back to the airport

Really Poor experience with this company. If price is at all comparable to a reputable company, go with the reputable one. First of all, they provided instructions of how to get their shuttle to get to the airport. These instructions were clearly out of date, so much so, that I tried to cancel from the curb and book with enterprise. Once I finally made it to the facility, I knew this wasn't going to go well. The place's appearance matched the service they would provide. The line was not terribly long, but it took about 30 minutes per person, for some reason. (For comparison, last time I flew to LAX, I was in an out of enterprise in about 5 minutes total.) Once I was being helped, I had to provide information I already had entered online, which took a while. Moreover, the desk agent confused and tricked me into extra features, which I didn't understand. Ultimately, I was given an economy car when I had paid extra for an SUV. The car was in pretty rough shape. It rattled, and I was worried it was on the verge of falling apart. Upon return, I was unable to give a receipt, and it seemed as though the staff did not have control over the amount of people around. Moreover, I asked for the shuttle back and told it would be there in 15 minutes. After 25 minutes, I asked if I could get a status update on the shuttle. They could not get a hold of it, and I waited another 15 minutes before calling an uber.

They do not honor the insurance purchased through Kayak so beware. The whole renting experience with them felt like a scam. Also they put a $400 hold on your card if you don’t get their insurance, and you have to prove your personal insurance will cover the car. So be prepared to show them all your insurance information. I just dropped the car off today so hopefully they don’t try to hit me with any extra charges for some reason. Last thing, the employees were not the nicest of people either.

The staff was very helpful, and got our paperwork going quickly. Our experience with the Pick up and drop off process was great! Best value in town
