Pros: The boarding was easy
Cons: My luggage was lost even when there was 4 hour layover. I have no clothes to wear.
Pros: Helpful staff both on ground and in the air
Cons: - The plane supposedly has free wifi :) :) :) but this is too good to be true. After a long and complicated procedure “all free wifi passes are gone, try again next time”. Someone said there are only 70 passes for the entire plane. - Similar experience with “free wifi” Guangzhou’s Bayun airport if you don’t have a Chinese simcard in your phone. - Navigating China Southern’s website for online check-in is a nightmare.
Pros: Timing, Price, Service, Food,
Pros: short (14 hours) flight. food is okay as airplane food. seats are pretty big.
Cons: The only complaining is there isn't any Cantonese movies as it supposed to be a Guangzhou (廣東)/ New York bounds.
Pros: Service, Food, timing, price
Cons: Seats were too narrow, but problem with A380 instead of Airlines.
Pros: The flight, service, hospitality.
Pros: Flight was smooth and short.
Cons: Price is a bit higher compare to other airlines
Cons: Check-in counter at airport. Long line. Boarding was pretty bad. Otherwise -- everything else was good/excellent
Pros: Crew was nice plane was comfortable
Cons: I have flown to Philippines many times with other airlines i hate to say it but PAL food is terrible The flight is long already but there was almost 2 hour delay and once i arrived in Canada it took about an hour to retrieve luggage Because i couldnt charge my phone due to no functional USB at my seat i was afraid i wouldnt be able to contact hotel shuttle
Pros: More stores are taking US $, there is a small duty free shopping area. These are improvements.
Cons: air conditioning was not working in the terminal. It far too small for the amount of passengers. Connecting flight was delayed for two hours!
Pros: Lots of room”for stuff”, so you aren’t digging in your attaché case all the time, almost like a desk area. We had eaten prior to departure so I asked to be served the meal later and they had no problem.
Cons: We have to claim the baggage outside and then come back to check in and get the new ticket to Bangkok again it’s terrible
Cons: Very unorganized and dirty inside cabin
Pros: The flight attendants were very nice and helpfult
Cons: That I had to pay for an emergency exit seat and others sat there for free even though I am a Elite Plus member.
Pros: While the business seats weren’t as comfortable as the pods, they did go flat for a decent sleep but they aren’t as wide, you need to be traveling as a couple if you have a window seat if you want to get out while the other person is asleep.
Pros: The actual flight on Virgin Australia was great! The comfort level for economy was especially surprising and very nice.
Cons: The transfer in between flights was very hectic and they couldn't find my ticket on my Delta transfer. This happened because they e-mailed the week before trying to change my itinerary but then clearly didn't let Delta know so there was definitely confusion and I missed my original transfer. That aspect was frustrating, but the flight itself was LOVELY.
Cons: vegetarian meal was a small side salad and soggy. this over lunchtime so was a disgrace for business class
Cons: Tight leg room
Cons: boarding, takeoff and landing all late, and forgot to serve my row with snack...
Cons: Definetely not the class or finess of a virgin flight! Half a cut ham sandwich... and water only due to short flight time. I’ve flown MANY times on the virgin aircraft. Service was much better! Won’t be booking a aliance flight anytime soon
Pros: Planes were good with good leg room
Cons: For Asian Veg Meal, they served Paneer for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spacing between meals was quite large. Entertainment options for adults and kids were quite limited.
Cons: Need more leg room even for regular economy seating
Cons: My Baggiage is extremely damaged which is so disgusting and there is no way to report it
Pros: Seats are not too tight. Professional crew. Ventilation and overall aircraft comfort was good.
Cons: Food can be better.
Pros: Good service
Cons: My bags came last even having priority labels
Pros: Entertainment system, crew responsiveness
Cons: Quality of main dish (lamb with rice). Portion of lamb is very small.
Cons: Te long transit time in Qatar.
Pros: Q Suite is top-of-line business class product
Pros: Extra leg room only coz I was on exit isle
Cons: Entertainment is poor. Very few selections on black movies and music. Mostly Arabic and Indians. Food was alright
Pros: Food was good
Cons: The flight took off late more than an hour
Pros: Amazing plane, latest technology, great customer service, clean bathrooms at all time. It was a 5 star experience, friendly hostess’s and friendly & helpful staff
Cons: cabin not so clean, no foot rest. But crew good service.
Pros: Friendly staff, smooth ride, easy boarding
Cons: aircraft a bit old and my remote control was broken, lunckily my next seat was not occupied, so I can move to next seat and the seat a bit old and decline angle so limit. if compare with business class seat of other airlines, it's a bit not up to standard.
Pros: Amazing plane, latest technology, great customer service, clean bathrooms at all time. It was an experience
Cons: Nothing not to like. They went above and beyond
Pros: Good selection of movies and excellent inflight entertainment overall. Service was excellent.
Cons: Seats were very small.
Cons: Seats unconfertabale
Pros: Crew was good
Cons: Food was not good
Cons: Food options listed on menu were not available. Breakfast was served so late that crew said not enough time to make/serve hot coffee or tea. During flight no crew ever came around to offer more water or liquid between meals. TV was in German with no instructions on how to change language to English. Bathrooms were not kept clean. Also, when boarding at the HK airport, after disabled and families, everyone was asked to board at the same time which resulted in one very long line of several hundred people.
Pros: Staff, food and service Dubai to Islamabad
Cons: Arrogant staff on Houston to Dibai
Pros: Worried that I wouldn’t have enough on my iPad to watch, didn’t even get my iPad out of my bag so much good stuff to watch even on a 14 hour flight. Thank you.
Cons: Not a vegan option for dinner. But the veg option was ok just some stuff I could eat.
Pros: Emirates does it with class, consistently.
Cons: Wanted some tomato juice, but they didn't have it...
Pros: entertainment was great!
Cons: Not much to eat for a vegan.
Pros: People and manager from emirates
Cons: Kayak, didn’t tell me about India visa for us citizens, we had to change my flight to Dubai and lost Dubai to India ticket
Pros: The staff were actually very nice and possibly the only good thing about this trip.
Cons: The turbulence was the worst I had ever experienced in my life. Granted, I understand nothing can really be done about that but, the captains made little to no effort to inform us when we would be hitting turbulence. All he said was “Crew, take your seats.” People just had to assume we were about to hit turbulence. And gosh was it horrible turbulence. 13 and 1/2 hours and at least 7 incidences of really hard turbulence. I got no sleep at all, cause I was much to afraid to even close my eyes. I wish the capitains could have said something to calm us down. It was frightening.
Pros: Lovely crew, good amount of food and drink available.
Cons: Sound on some of the entertainment options was too low to hear, so I ended up using my phone instead.
Pros: the headphone was so great that i was away from the noise, and i do had a good sleep on the plane.
Cons: it’s a pity that i missed the hot snack of premium economy.
Pros: We have now been on both TAIWAN based carriers in the past six months. CI aircraft interiors were more visually appealing- I remember BR being too dark...
Cons: The temperature fluctuations of the aircraft. This is really for all airlines, usually too hot upon boarding & too cold 3hrs in... Also, no coach class amenity kit. I think BR gave us "sleeping" face masks for a similar length trip...
Cons: Bus boarding... understandable due to the short-haul nature of the flight- but there was no lack of gates available.
Pros: Almost everything.
Cons: Flying on 8 Jan is a time when there a lot of holiday makers heading home or perhaps just going on holiday. Lots of young children and a baby crying right behind me wasn't the most relaxing but I realise that nothing can be done about that.
Pros: The braised beef dinner was excellent, the crew were really helpful and the entertainment good. Arrived early as well.Qantas seems to have great pilots as very little in the way of bumpiness on landing. So well done guys.
Cons: Nothing much. I have long legs so it's hard to get comfortable enough to sleep.
Pros: Boarding was quick.
Cons: Flight was not comfortable, when seats are pushed back, there is no leg room left. Entertainment system and contents both were poor. Flight delayed by 4 hours.
Pros: Not much to like other than access to Cathay pacific lounge at SFO Over booked about 50 seats fights in the aisles security on board blamed on a computer glitch delayed over 2 1/2 hours Business class old uncomfortable seats. After flying Singapore business last week I was appalled at what quantas had for the same price I’m dreading my flight back home on quantas I won’t fly them again
Cons: Couldn't check in on mobile
Pros: Professionalism, appearance, flight attendants, provided slippers and toothbrush, seat space, great food and drinks
Cons: The movie selection was small and a bit outdated
Pros: Great service. Clean plane, good seating
Pros: Everything, from boarding to departure, the service is excellent! The staff was attentive and very welcoming. Spending a few hours reminded me why I fell in love with SK in the first place.
Cons: Food selection was ehhh. Selection and quality of food flying into SK was a lot better.
Pros: Great leg room even for tall person. Food is good and there's enough choices.
Pros: Good service, 6 hour flight with 2 free meal!
Pros: Super friendly staff
Cons: Less films in German
Pros: Plenty of leg room
Pros: Big flight Great seats Amazing entertainment system. iPad size. Very good food too.
Cons: The flight always leaves later than schedule.
Pros: Polite staff, safe environment.
Cons: Flight was slightly delayed and took off late.
Cons: No clear direction at boarding for lining up
Pros: Small puddle jumper, but everything was well organized.
Pros: Everything; crew, seats, food, The best flight ever. Thanks a lot.
Cons: N / A
Pros: Seats rows seemed to be more distance apart than other airlines. Flight was actually done by Air New Zealand rather than Cathay Pacific. Check in at Auckland airport was very quick and highly automated, however, our gate was not posted till one hour before the flight, so we did not know where was the best place to sit and wait.
Cons: Food was mediocre. Coffee and tea were like warm or cold.
Pros: Everything else.
Cons: The departure was 20 minutes late (not too much), which delayed the arrival in NZ by the same amount.
Pros: flight crew are good, other general categories are average.
Cons: Boarding in both Sydney-Auckland & Auckland-Vancouver are disorganized. No clear indication of when & where to line up. No flight delay message to explain when boarding time was long overdue. In particular, for the Auckland - Vancouver flight, one ground staff was telling economy passengers (in rather rude express) they were in the wrong line except there was never announcement. Overall, disappointed.
Cons: Crew was excellent Seats very short on leg room and hard cushions
Pros: The staff was nice
Cons: The seats were very small, the cusion was worn, the entertainment screen did not work, nor did my recline function on seat.
Pros: On board is pretty good except that the seats are pretty narrow compare to our previous experiences. As a reference, I am 5‘3“ and 110 lbs.
Cons: Our flight was delayed and the seats were narrrow.
Pros: Really good flight. Clean,on time, efficient. Early arrival even
Pros: This was a very short flight. They gave you a great little snack and drink. Was a very smooth flight and the crew were very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: Could not check in online because the system was down.
Cons: The layover in Singapore was a nightmare with insufficient hotel accommodation, nothing but Asian food and overly officious security staff.
Pros: Well organized boarding, friendliness of staff, food service
Cons: Flight was delayed by about an hour.
Pros: Extra leg room, great service and good food.
Cons: The entertainment system feels dated (no touch screen) manual rewinding of movies, selection of movies
Cons: Singapore airlines use their antique aged flights for services to chc.unconfortable and a poor in-flight entertainment system
Pros: Food was good
Cons: Boarding was just ok, but departure delayed by half hour. Seats were really poor. Zero comfort.. felt like sitting on a cramped park bench. Entertainment system is ancient. Can't see and can't listen properly. Didn't expect this type of horrible aircraft from Singapore Airlines!
Pros: Service and hospitality. On dot service with no major delays.
Cons: I did not like the food
Pros: Standard flight and comfort.
Cons: Food was absolutely beyond horrible...and the crew would run instead of walk down aisles to wherever their dedtination was.
Pros: Great staff and food
Pros: The flight was adequate.
Cons: Sandwich was extremely unappetising and there were no hot drinks. The worst thing was that in transiting from the SAA flight to the Lufthansa flight we were obliged to go through security which seems unnecessary. The security staff were awful. Bullying, rude and totally unsympathetic to the fact that having brought water from the first plane to the second plane we had to either drink it or throw it away. One guy in particular, a tall greying man evoked the worst stereotypes of brutal secret policemen. Perhaps he formerly worked for Stasi or he was having testosterone problems. Totally unacceptable behaviour.
Pros: Good seats with leg room.
Pros: Crew was that much friendly.
Cons: Not mine type food (just a suggestion please to have sri lankan varities)
Pros: The staff was very helpings .
Cons: The way they are Waigh the luggage was like weighing gold.
Pros: Plenty of leg room.
Pros: In economy class good enough leg space when compared to other airlines.
Cons: Head phones connections does not work most of the time.
Pros: Great service
Cons: Not much I did not like
Pros: It was a quick flight to my home country!
Cons: The delay with boarding time caused me to almost miss my connecting flight in Taipei, where my checked bag was also delayed and did not check through concurrently with me.
Pros: Their service exceeds every other airline I have been on. Amazing flight attendants with quality food and comfortable seats.
Cons: A little pricier than other airlines but definitely better!
Pros: Food and service always reliably good to excellent. If you're used to the North American style of "we are primarily here for your safety" service standard, then Asian airlines like EVA would be a breath of fresh air.
Cons: Boarding time always seem to slip a few minutes lately.
We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.
