Pros: very neat and fairly large rooms. the park view is beautiful.
Cons: initially we were in a 'park view' room which did not face the park at all. you have to crane your neck out of the window to see the park. this should not be sold as park view. staff were happy to move us to a front facing room with beautiful view.

Pros: Everything was great at the hotel, great bed, large, recently updated, good facilities.
Cons: I fly at night, asked if I could use the gym to shower when I got back to the hotel (checked out that morning, collected bag in the afternoon) and was told that I would be charged $20 to use the gym / shower? I could have used the shower on arrival but not departure? Very short sighted. A first for me, and I stay in Sydney regularly for work. Would not come back.

Pros: The location was great, the staff were lovely from the valets to reception and the the bar staff.
Cons: It was priced a bit high, we did have a view however the bolts on the top of harbour side were a bit off putting. This was our 20 year anniversary, we decided on a luxury weekend. Next time I’ll consider a different hotel. In Sydney a room with a clear view at a reasonable price won’t be hard to come by.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, views and room!!
Cons: Was woken during the night by someone banging and swearing at someone’s door.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location / proximity to where we needed to go was good. Pleasant staff - efficient.
Cons: We booked and paid for a room with Darling Harbour views - these limited views were possible only if you stood up against the window and craned your neck to the right - instead we had a view of the Maritime Museum and the light rail track - felt it didnt deliver what was promised.

Cons: The only thing i can think that wasn’t stellar was the tv station selection in the room. That’s hardly a reason to select any hotel- just a way to wind down before bed. The pros far outweigh this one con :)

Pros: We love The Grace! It is one of our favourite places to stay in Sydney. This visit we stayed in one of their refurbished rooms and it was lovely. The bed was super comfy and I loved the luxurious shower ( guilty pleasures). Staff are always friendly and attentive and the Christmas decorations were delightful. We had a beer in the pub and dinner in the Japanese restaurant-we chose the $66pp banquet. Amazing meal and good value for the quality of the food, ultra fresh and tasty. We can’t wait to visit again.

Pros: Location was good and set up was good with some history and heritage associated with the site. Parking was convenient and useful as it was covered for the full day after check out if you wanted to shop.
Cons: When we stayed there the streets were blocked for an event and so alighting to check in was difficult and you had to go around the block to the car park which was very frustrating and time consuming with street blocked off. We were not aware of the street issue prior to being nearby. The Hotel could have advised a warning to expect some delays.

Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: All renovated
Cons: Slow internet
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was particularly comfortable and the room very quiet. Also there were plenty of lifts so waiting time was minimum.
Cons: The breakfast was nothing special.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed in this hotel on several occasions. Nice big rooms and very comfy beds! Secure valet parking. This hotel is well positioned in CBD and is not noisy. You can ask for a quiet room. Friendly staff at reception desk and good room service.
Cons: As I have stayed here before I was very surprised at the curt and somewhat rude response from the young and inexperienced concierge today. This young man needs to learn some manners and how to respond to customers. I had asked for some assistance with regards to the carpark voucher which the front desk had forgetten to give me and instead of politely directing me back to the front desk I was told in no uncertain terms that he could not provide me with the document I needed. He was almost incensed that I had asked. As many hotels have their concierges deal with cars I did not think my request was beyond his role. I trust this young man learns that customer service is the nature of the hospitality industry. This is not the usual caliber of staff at this hotel.
5.0 Okay
Pros: It was an ok hotel but not worth $--- per night that I was forced to pay
Cons: Yes there was a mixup in my two nights accommodation and on the second night the rate I was charged was almost double the previous night. So not happy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice room with a good shower, free WiFi
Cons: The king bed had a firm bar in the middle of the bed. Not a problem if you sleep on either side though. I wish they let you stay on the WiFi the entire day of departure, I came back later to get my bags, but no WiFi to figure out how to get to the airport
6.3 Good
Pros: As above . All likes erased at the end signing out . In fact insulted by receptions response to my dissatisfaction at Grace Hotels handling of an alarm incident .
Cons: Please contact me . Too much to discuss here .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great for walking in any direction around the city. Staff was always helpful, patient and pleasant.
Cons: The pool was attractive but not the most functional.

Pros: Breakfast was good staff very helpful and friendly
Cons: We were given a poky room that was for a disabled person. We requested a change but not a room next to the lift. We were given a room next to the lift. Contacted Duty Manager Samuel Chui who found us a decent room. He gave a complimentary breakfast and a bottle of wine. We had arranged to meet our god-sun at the roof top bar "private function " Glass House private function We went to Marble bar which was noisy needed more staff on the floor. Just a very disappointing experience where we were going to have a nice relaxed night after a busy day with business. We ended up with all the fuss of getting a nice room we decided to have room service and lucky it was good. I think you need to lift your game I know you are doing refurbishments but don't charge such a ridicules price for a substandard room. We normally stay at the Sheraton on the Park both thought we would try the Hilton. We are from the country and staying in Sydney we like to have a spoil. Never again..

Pros: I loved the extra space of having a living room to unwind in after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen and dining table was a great option when we didn't have time for a cafe breakfast. I loved having a nespresso machine in the room with daily refills.
The room was clean and modern. Service was great. The location is hard to beat. Right in the middle of tons of coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. Darling Harbor and Chinatown are just 4-5 minute walk. Town Hall subway station is just around the corner. Two grocery stores are very close by if you want to stock up on things.

Cons: Carpets were dirty and full of stains Cleaning was very poor had to ask for our bathroom to be cleaned and fresh towels Room wasn’t dusted all through out our stay
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location, staff reasonably friendly
Cons: Good location. Paid $400 for a studio room. Arrived 2:00pm. Got upgraded to a high floor. Unfortunately was provided 2 single beds when requested double/queen bed. Didn’t feel value For money considering the small room size. Room alittle dusty. $50 for parking topped it off as a bad experience for me given the above points when checking out.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: Staff told us that beer was missing from minibar when we know that we didn’t drink it. Mistake with previous stay or with keeping inventory.
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location, comfortable bed.
Cons: I paid $320 for a one bedroom suite with a city view and arrived to my room which had a view of a parking lot and construction. The toilet also did not flush properly and bathroom design is terrible as water gets everywhere after a shower causing slips. Our room was finally changed after constantly telling front desk staff that the room was not what I paid for. Mentioned that our stay was for our anniversary and no interest or congratulations were given. Other hotels usually provide us with wine or a room upgrade (not necessary, but a nice gesture by the staff). Staff did not tell us anything about the hotel facilities or if we’d like to include breakfast, and generally seemed disinterested in helping us. However, at check out, Steven was warm and friendly. Will not be returning.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything else
Cons: Housekeeping usually starts at 330pm. Ends at 430pm. After a long and early day, I twice got back to a room that wasn't made up still. Had to call for Housekeeping. Found out once that it was past 430. The other, I had to leave again to let housekeeping come in.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly.
Cons: The location was central but noisy. We were up on the 24th floor but could hear everything from the Street. This apartment is on the cheaper side so the quality of accommodation reflects this. Clean enough but looking a bit run down. The room was small. A bit disappointed we couldn’t get into our room a bit earlier but we were able to leave our bags and go out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I've stayed in Fraser Suites in KL and loved the attention to detail and quality of accommodation and service. Location, room facilities, friendly staff, quick check in.
Cons: Light switches are not conveniently located. Aircon not working....tho only aware of this in the morning so I reported it to reception at check out. I'm sure it would have been rectified had I reported it earlier.

Pros: Just the receptionists - guy who took my feedback when I checked out and seemed sincerely upset that I had a bad experience and the lady receptionist who produced the bedroom slippers when housekeeping rudely said there was none. Other than that, I was totally ripped off. I know the holidays bring volume, but the hotel should've been prepared for that. If you can't handle it, don't book additional guests, especially the ones that pay and are Accor members. You'll just ruin the experience.

Cons: Booked this for NYE, our first time in Sydney, Australia, at that. Paid a hefty AUD3000 given the holiday and received a rude response with no explanation on the first night from housekeeping when I requested for bedroom slippers. Was told they ran out but reception managed to produce 2 pairs the next morning for me (reception was actually quite helpful). Used, empty glasses, utensils were left on the table after beds were made up and towels were replaced. Room was clearly not vacuumed nor cleaned as the carpet still had some pieces of paper on the floor. Moulting towels with lint sticking to the body upon use, which meant having to take a bath again to remove them. Being an Accor member and having used Novotel around the world on various travels, my family was placed on the lowest floor with the cabin crew of various airlines. Noise could be heard outside. Black out blinds were not noticeable and woke up to the bright light. Refill of water bottles inconsistent - only done on 1 out of 4 days and even after having asked 3x on the same day for a refill, was told - "that's not our department" - and so the water never arrived. Attempted many times to re-stock water in the lobby but it was always empty and finished. For AUD3,000, it was a total rip-off and after having transferred to Westin Sydney with my SPG-Marriott points and getting the best room ever and satisfactory service for another 3 nights, Novotel Sydney has made me re-evaluate and think whether I should still continue using them when I travel.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The only thing I liked was the availability of the outdoor pool and access to internet in the lobby.
Cons: When I arrived and walked into my room, it smelled horrendous. Then walking into the bathroom their was some object of grossness in the shower. We called immediately and transfered to another room that was ok, but still had an odd odor.
Then later in the evening, when coming back from dinner their was puke in 2 of the 4 elevators just sitting there. The front desk was informed, but really didnt act on it. I had to ride up to my floor with puke on the ground cause the other 2 elevators were taking too long.
I spent 475 dollars for the one night.....I was extremely disappointed. Didnt even bother to try and get a refund.

Pros: Room was well maintained and clean
Cons:
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great size room, polite and helpful staff, outstanding location, beautiful facility. World-class
Cons:
7.5 Good
Pros: Location, conveniency
Cons: One particular porter names Oak is having a really bad attitude. Stayed here many times and never changed. He literally looked us up and down few times when we walked in and out of the hotel doors without greeting or even smiling. Every other porters were very nice and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern and very clean
Cons: Valet parking only $60 a day quite steep
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed and pillows were beautiful. It was a proper king, not 2 joined together. The staff were wonderful. Very helpful.
Cons: Balcony was shabby, but at the price that was fine, and enjoyed the balcony anyway with the wine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and very comfortable rooms. Great to crash in a firm bed with luxuriously heavy sheets!
Cons: Only one tiny complaint: the complimentary continental breakfast did not include complimentary coffee.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness Smelt nice
Cons: Overpriced for a standard room,
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location was in an area with lots of restaurant choices nearby. Rooms were clean and had all the amenities.
Cons: Shower stall leaked into bathroom floor area. Pillows were very hard on the neck.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location, quiet, comfortable bed.
Cons: The room was nice, but a bit smaller than expected.
6.3 Good
Pros:
Cons: AC in room didn't work which meant the room was either hot (with AC on) or stuffy. Tried opening window, but way too noisy outside. Result bad sleep, which isn't good when you need to work hard the next day - the point of staying in a 'good' hotel on a business trip is to enable you to be rested and ready for work.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location in the city
Cons: Quite expensive for this stay
9.0 Excellent
Pros:
Cons: No toothbrushes

Cons: There was an intense smell of air freshener all over that was nauseating. Lucky us it was not on the room No space to store clothes on the room On the last day we had worms coming out of our sink Too overpriced for what it is.

Pros: The Hyatt Regency Sydney is perfectly located for touring around Sydney and enjoying a central hotel location. We were there for New Year's Eve and were dazzled by the fireworks without even leaving our room. Access to the Club Lounge was a highlight.
Cons: The room was quite sparse. Locating outlets to charge devices was challenging. The price of the room for the quality of environment seemed mismatched (even for a holiday stay). The bed was on wheels and rolled at the slightest bump.

Cons: The Taxi driver waiting outside your doors, when I hadn’t check out he threw our bags in the van and started charging the minute he had done that, so was nearly $20 before I got in from checking out, my daughter told him we hadn’t checked out but he still out the bags in the van. Tainted the whole experience. They shouldn’t be allowed to wait outside your doors if they do the to your guest.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast is amazing and staff people are really friendly, location is perfect as in 2 minutes walk you join the public transportation or the wharf, reception is 24/24h
Cons: For the price you pay and for a 5 star hotel I was expecting something more from the room, size of the room is not impressive, moquette on the floor is something old-fashion from the '80s (and not hygienic at all), wall are very thin and you can hear the other guests, there is no possibilities to open the windows.

Pros: Clean room with a spacious layout. If you're only looking to sleep and shower its a good place. Nothing is complimentary.
Cons: This place will nickle and dime you to death. I was surprised I didn't have to pay extra to gave running water. Nothing is complimentary. They charge extra to store your bags, insane rates to do laundry ($5 per pair of underwear as a start). Internet charged with time interval, but all have a 1,000 mb limit that I'm pretty sure us programmed to countdown autonomously. I purchased 24 hrs of internet and it reached its bandwidth limit within 20 minutes after I sent 2 emails and accessed 3 webpages. Overall, not ideal for business travel or long term travel.

Cons: Wi-Fi - 1GB of data in a 24-hr cycle for $22 is criminally expensive in today's day and age.
Also, drinking water was not included in the room, which is one of the most basic complementary items provided in every other hotel.

Pros: Staff we're very polite and friendly, lots of smiles!! Our bed was very comfortable and the view just beautiful. Waiting in our room was a beautiful complementary fruit platter and 2 complementary drinks for being "guest of the day"..
Cons: The lovely lady couldn't find our reservation when we arrived to check in, we had paid when we booked in bookings.com, but the issue was resolved within 15mins after providing our confirmation email.

Pros: Location and friendliness and helpfulness of staff.
Cons:
5.4 Okay
Pros: Not much, however comfortable bed.
Cons: 1. On arrival by car needing valet parking there was no one to be seen. Had to push into check in lines to try and find someone. 2. Had lunch in the ground floor restaurant. Staff we’re conducting job interviews in there. Highly inappropriate for diners & potential staff being interviewed. Surely there is a more suitable room in the hotel to conduct job interviews? 3. Hotel windows were filthy on floor 11, and the hideous carpet is long overdue for replacement. Very tired & in need of a facelift. 4. The breakfast queue was circa 10 deep to even get in the door around 9:00am on Saturday. Totally understaffed. The few staff on duty clearly we’re not coping. 5. Cleaning trolley in middle of hallway difficult to pass when checking out.

7.4 Good
Pros: Dinner and breakfast were good. Location of the hotel is great, and rooms are very large. Looks to be recently refurbished so nice and clean.
Cons: Hotel is noisy. The building seems to have thin walls. I could hear everything happening in other rooms, like Children screaming, and someone practicing a musical instrument. For a hotel like this I would expect better sound proofing.
The 5-star Pullman Sydney Hyde Park hotel is directly opposite Hyde Park and located conveniently in the city centre, so you won't have far to go if your interest tends to theatres, museums, shopping or bar-hopping. In town on business? You're in the right place for that, too. The conferencing and banquet venues here are among the most dynamic in Sydney.
The newly refurbished Holiday Inn Darling Harbour is situated right between the bustling China Town and newly developed Darling Square precinct. Our hotel is just 5 minutes’ walk to the ICC International Convention Centre and 10 minutes’ walk from Central Train Station. Take a leisurely stroll through Darling Harbour with its many attractions such as Cockle Bay, Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, Wild Life Sydney Zoo and Madame Tussaud's Sydney. The hotel is also a heritage building constructed in 1890 and has since transformed into the largest Holiday Inn in Australia. The hotel recently underwent a refurbishment worth $ 15 Million. The scope of work included changing the bathrooms and the rooms to a more modern outlook and neutral colour schemes with an emphasis on technology and practicality. Part of the upgrade also included a renovated fitness centre, spa and laundry services. Keeping families at heart, we have come up with five new Suites designed to keep kids and parents equally happy with two separate bedrooms, one which is themed to keep the kids the amused and the other that lets the parents unwind. The refurbishment is timed perfectly with the development of Darling Square and Steam Mill Lane across the road which will include 80 new retail stores and public spaces for our guests. This has made our hotel become a top choice for leisure and corporate travelers.

The bistro in hotel not only provide delicious dinner yet also offer stunning night views of this city!

Pros: Location was great s it was close to the concert venue, the SCG. Did not stay for breakfast the next morning but there are plenty of great cafes close by. Easy escape on to the M4 to get out of the city.
Cons: Bathroom sink and small shelf space in there. Was hard to apply makeup and do hair. Shower curtains are the WORST, too. Much prefer glass doors into showers.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, near public transport and an easy walk to the CBD. Parking was a bit of a hassle as the designated parking facility described by the hotel was completely full upon arrival. This meant we had to drive around and find an alternate parking area which for an overnight stay proved outrageously expensive.
Cons: The parking arrangements/partnership. Obviously most local travellers arrive by private vehicle and so an arrangement whereby you are guaranteed a parking spot would be of great assistance - and people are happy to pay for that convenience as long as its reasonably priced.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful and courteous at all times. Cleaning staff got it right.
Cons: Ironing board stuck. Shower door would not stay closed. Previous guest's stuff not cleared away.

Pros: Location great. Room was fine. Everything was clean.
