Pros: The most stellar staff and customer service we've ever experienced. Can't speak more highly of staff at every station from check in who addressed us by name each time we passed by, to concierge and everyone in between. It was our wedding anniversary and the hotel surprised us with complimentary room upgrade, a box of chocolates and bottle of wine. Just amazing. The room was super special too!!

Pros: It was fantastic to have a bed available on short notice near The Star Hotel on the night of the ARIAs comfortable bed! Friendly staff at the bar late in the evening to give me my keys :-)
Cons: It was very nice for a backpackers, it would have been nice to have a little more privacy available in the bathroom. Didn't matter today though, everyone else had already left so I had it to myself anyway
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location was great.
Cons: Pillows were horrible and were clearly multiple years past their replacement date. Woke up with a sore neck. Bedroom window was broken. Room was right next to main front door and was woken up and heard every single person entering or exiting the building all night. Many stains on bathroom floor. Staff did not appear to be friendly.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel was great. Staff were supportive. Affordable.
Cons: The cleanliness of the room was poor. The bed and the toilet was all that was to standard. There isn't an elevator, so be warned for the older youth. Smell of mold.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: The bed was really uncomfortable, the double bunk bed was noisy and unstable, very thin and uncomfortable pillows.

Pros: An older building but the price is set correctly for it. It is basic, but as it states, it is a bed and breakfast style of accomodation and that is what you will find. The place is very clean which I liked and quiet so you can sleep. It’s location is good you can walk straight down pyrmont street to the star casino. Or around the corner to harbour side shopping centre and Darling Harbour.

Pros: Reception personnel were helpful. Location good
Cons: Fake advertisement: single room private with 2 small bed sperated. Doesn’t make any sense. No bathroom inside, had to use toilets and showers like an hostel/ backpapers . Bed sheets bed covers of mediocre quality. Breakfast included on the price but also not complementary so it is a bit odd.
Inside decoration looks like a cheap hostels from a cheap neighborhood in a cheap city in the early 2000’s.
That’s it i guess.
7.9 Good
Pros: Love antique furniture and the Woolbrokers has sort to tell in the room
Cons: Toilet seat could do with update and shower curtain.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location and parking arrangement.
Cons: The property is about to close down its business in my opinion. Almost every thing needs to improve such as mattresses, shower, room door and carpet. The shower rooms have a plenty of flies. I could not take a proper shower. The property is in the middle of traffic. Hard to sleep day and night due to traffic noise.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The staff were pleasant and helpful. The location was great. The sheets appeared clean. Water pressure was good. But the blanket was old and stained.
Cons: It was filthy. The mould and mildew in the showers was worse than I’ve ever seen anywhere. Mould everywhere. The window was broken , the screen was filthy. The tiles were broken on the floor and when you stepped on them they stuck to your feet. All we heard all night was people banging and thumping in the room above. You could hear people talking up there all night also. There was no lift , just stairs and no one to help bring up the luggage. It was a hotel built in about 1886 and hadn’t been upgraded since then by the looks. Probably would have been cleaner if we had slept in the street for the night.
