Pros: Convenient location to city attractions.
Cons: Breakfast prices were way too high. I paid $158 U.S. dollars and the breakfast prices were $18 to $26 US dollars. Overall I enjoyed my stay as the room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

Pros: Stayed at the Radisson for one night on our way inbound from Canada to Melbourne. Lovely hotel, in the heart of the CBD. Close to the Harbour and ferries, the Opera House, slight trek to Darling Harbour but very central. Rooms were clean, modern and spacious. Also, took advantage of the breakfast buffet before or flight the next morning which was quite good but pricey $25per. The porters were exceptional, always attentive and helpful with the baggage. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Cons: Only a couple of hiccups, we arrived in the morning and even though check in was at 3pm they said we could check in at 1130am. When we went to pick up our room keys they kept putting us off with “ready in 5 minutes” until noon. Just tell us noon, we would have gone for a walk. While we were waiting in the lounge for our room there was some construction going on in the restaurant, didn’t make for the best of atmospheres.

Pros: We had originally rented an apartment in Sydney. However, due to construction at night, we had to relocate. We found a great rate at the Raddisson Blu and booked it. We enjoyed the last few nights of our vacation in a beautiful and comfortable room. The hotel staff was very helpful and the hotel was spotless. We would definitely stay there again!

Pros: Room very clean and comfortable
Cons: My second reception experience - arrived early and room not ready. Very helpful chap checked me in, checking photo ID and giving me spa key so I could freshen up after long flight. Promised a text when room ready and promised this would be within 2 hours. Returned from run to see if room ready having not received text in spite of two and a half hours having elapsed. Female receptionist insisting in seeing ID again which seemed utterly superfluous to requirements. When asked why I hadn't received a text she said that the "room has just this moment become ready". Amazing coincidence. ended up being late for an appointment because she was so reluctant to relinquish the key without me having to go and find my photo ID even though it was obvious I had already checked in and knew all the details.

Pros: I've been coming to Sydney my whole life, and always wanted to stay somewhere with a harbour view. (Family lives way out of town.) This was the ultimate harbour experience, waking up to the sunrise over the Sydney Opera House is something I will never forget. Spent more time in a hotel room than in any other, just watching the view. Staff were friendly and very accommodating without being either sycophantic or condascending, top job all round.

Pros: Bellmen were good, pillows
Cons: Received worst room imagined. Low floor, dirty windows, bad views, receptionist lied about restaurant open at 10PM, Burger cost $30 plus tip, water in room was $10, room was expensive at about $300/night, no loyalty program with airlines except Qantas, shower was open with no door, no microwave, no real conveniences, small room.

Pros: Simply everything. The hotel is a stones throw away from Circular Quay, and is in walking distance to the iconic Sydney Opera House. There are lots of awesome shopping venues all around; with food galore and convenience stores to choose from. There are several tours that have starting points only steps away; including ferry tours and dinner tours. I highly recommend the harbour view rooms. The view is breathtakingly beautiful. You really can't go wrong with this hotel.

Pros: Beautiful room, comfortable bed, great fitness center. Location was exactly what I wanted and needed for a couple of days in Sydney...close to everything! Felt safe, and was treated wonderfully by all staff.
Cons: I REALLY have an issue with the use of so many plastic water bottles. It is nice to have them in the room for many, I know...and to have them to carry around, as well. But...in the gym? C'mon. Use a filtered water system, or at least have one available so that when you run out of your own water, you can refill it without having to use yet another plastic water bottle. For the cost of the bottles and the disposal, reusable ones could probably be provided to every guest.

Pros: I struggled with the best location to serve as home base in Sydney and the Swissôtel was perfect to hit all the top attractions while also being close to a train stop from the airport. Additionally, it was an easy walk to other neighborhoods like Surrey Hills and close to a Big Bus stop.
Cons: The only thing i can think that wasn’t stellar was the tv station selection in the room. That’s hardly a reason to select any hotel- just a way to wind down before bed. The pros far outweigh this one con :)

Pros: The hotel was within a reasonably short walk to the harbor bridge, yet also within walking distance of other attractions (like Chinatown which was a great place to visit during the Chinese new year festivities). In particular, the staff was very helpful. The concierge made a great recommendation for a hole in the wall (Chat Thai) and one of the women at the front desk went out of her way to help me plan things to do over my 3 day stay. I really appreciate that they took the time for me. The room was also nice (but it was the most expensive room I booked during my stay in Australia). My recommendation is to do your research and most importantly book early. After I booked I saw room prices skyrocket as I got closer to my travel dates, but that might have been unusual due to it being the Chinese New Year, or maybe there was some other event that took up all the rooms. I wouldn't have been willing to pay as much the room went up to but ~$250 was doable.
Cons: Flights into Sydney from abroad must all arrive in the early morning. Every day there seemed to be a number of people waiting in the lobby as their rooms weren't ready yet. I understand hotels can't check people in too early, but it would have been great had the hotel been able to get me in before lunch. Instead I found myself roaming the city by foot for a good while.

Pros: Amazing way to start the day with amazing breakfast buffet. Giovani is our favorite... Always helping and welcoming. A hard worker with excellent attention to detail
Cons: The laundry staff needed prodding several times. There were never enough towels in our room and despite several kind notes to remind them, they were ignored. The dining room at dinner should be ignored, as staff was clueless for dinner... But that was transformed for breakfast, which was a highlight.

Pros: They food and service were good on the Horizon floor.
Cons: We were traveling with our 12 year old,who is very well behaved. We were told by our waiter that the 7:00 hour was drawing near and my son would have to leave the lounge. Which we obeyed every night and made our son leave the lounge. But on our third night, for some arbitrary reason, the horizon lounge manager let other children stay in the lounge passed the curfew hours, after he had requestied our son to leave. We questioned him and he flipped flopped with his story and then announced that all children were allowed to stay in the lounge for the rest of the week due to the Easter holiday. We just didn’t like when some people aren’t made to obey the rules and the manager fails to enforce them.

Pros: If you want to stay at the airport in Sydney before an early morning flight out this is a pretty good option. Modern, clean and functional. No great view but I didn't hear any planes either which is what I needed. I really appreciated the early checkin so I could shower right after I landed (most flights land early in the morning coming in from the US) but checkin time at most hotels is not until the afternoon. I ended up paying $75 for the privilege of checking in at 9 am. A little steep but really helped me get to meetings that day. Note: this hotel is across the street from the international terminal. The domestic terminal is a 10 minute shuttle ride away so plan for this. The hotel provides a shuttle every 30 mins

Pros: Room was comfortable, clean and good size. Breakfast buffet was excellent it was included in my nightly rate. Had the seafood buffet as well which was good. Lobby bar has good ambience. Happy hour 4-6pm at Meat & Co good value. Some nice extra touches like weight scale in the bathroom, suit brush and shoe horn in cupboard. Good size desk and seat under the window a nice touch.
Cons: Check in quite slow even though I had priority check in. Central Park and Circular Quay are also within 1 mi (2 km). Museum Station is only a 3-minute walk and Town Hall Station is 5 minutes. "

Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location was in an area with lots of restaurant choices nearby. Rooms were clean and had all the amenities.
Cons: Shower stall leaked into bathroom floor area. Pillows were very hard on the neck.

Cons: AC in room didn't work which meant the room was either hot (with AC on) or stuffy. Tried opening window, but way too noisy outside. Result bad sleep, which isn't good when you need to work hard the next day - the point of staying in a 'good' hotel on a business trip is to enable you to be rested and ready for work.

Pros: We stayed in a beautiful Relaxation room on the top floor - L43 (which we selected through the online check-in function through the Hilton app - highly recommended!). All staff we encountered were top notch. While our room was not yet ready at 4 (past the 3pm check in time), we were welcomed to enjoy some nibbles and drink at the Executive Lounge on L36. Soon after, the lounge staff provided us with our room keys where we explored the various features of our room. Most notable of which was the spa tub with complementary bath crystals. Hilton Sydney have recently (within past 6 months at least) replaced their Peter Thomas Roth toiletries with Crabtree & Evelyn - Verbena & Lavender). I first came across the range back at Hilton Tokyo in 2017 and took a liking to it. Staff ensured our room was equipped with 2 cots for our young kids. This was promptly set up prior to our arrival at the room. As a Hilton Diamond member, we received premium wifi throughout the hotel - where speeds were impressive for the most part. We were also offered a choice of complementary buffet breakfast at either Glass restaurant on L2 or the Executive Lounge on L36. The Glass breakfast was, by far, more comprehensive - although can get quite busy during peak times. Food was top notch, although it would be good if barista coffee is complementary - at least for Diamond members. We didn't try the gym and pool this time - Fitness First have bought the rights to operate the facilities and will be operational a few months into 2019. The Hilton service staff through the Hilton app or Magic function were very professional, prompt and delivered above expectations. Canapes at the Executive Lounge (6-8pm daily) features a tended bar. Nibbles for the most part differed on the two nights we were staying at the hotel. The Lounge can get quite busy at times so get in early for a seat and table. Would definitely stay again (maybe another staycation next Christmas!) would love to try the Relaxation Suite next time.
Cons: Our Relaxation room on L43 was situated next to the staff storeroom / goods lifts. As such, could hear the lifts during peak periods - not so much during the later evening. From our room, we could also hear the squeaky doors from across the hall. Perhaps timely for maintenance to give the doors some fine tuning. I would also like to see a better spread of snacks throughout the day at the Executive Lounge and perhaps complementary barista coffee at the lounge and Glass restaurant for loyal top tier Hilton members.

Pros: We decided to have a staycation at Hilton Sydney with our toddler. Check-in was efficient where they reminded me of my suite upgrade. Enjoyed our complimentary breakfast at Glass each morning - a wide selection of hot and cold options. Access to Executive Lounge at any time between 6-9 - it can get quite busy during the evening drinks session. MAGIC team were highly responsive when it came to my requests (shoe shine, laundry and pillow selection as well as helping to arrange a spare iphone charger) and can be accessed by phone or the Hilton iphone app. Special thanks to the Glass staff member who found my toddler's toys left behind during breakfast. We were able to recover from hotel security.
Cons: Not a huge negative, but we were not provided with information regarding the available benefits at Hilton Sydney as a Diamond Hilton Honors member - something I had to confirm by dialling their MAGIC hotline. Breakfast at the Lounge is satisfactory and rates below the likes of Hilton Tokyo in terms of selection and quality - where Tokyo had an omelet station and also self service alcohol even in the morning. Barista made coffee should be complimentary during breakfast at Glass - at least for valued Diamond Hilton Honors members.

Pros: I loved the extra space of having a living room to unwind in after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen and dining table was a great option when we didn't have time for a cafe breakfast. I loved having a nespresso machine in the room with daily refills. The room was clean and modern. Service was great. The location is hard to beat. Right in the middle of tons of coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. Darling Harbor and Chinatown are just 4-5 minute walk. Town Hall subway station is just around the corner. Two grocery stores are very close by if you want to stock up on things. The gym is great and quite extensive. There is a nice pool and sauna, although the hot tub was only like warm temperature. Overall me and my two boys ( 9 and 11) had a great time fornthe week we were in Sydney.

Pros: The beds need replacement. Two in my room had collapsed. The hotel engineer saidthe box spring was broken, so they offered to put us in another room. I checked and sure enough the mattress was broken there too. They moved us to a beautiful suite, but the floor in the room was too slippery for the wheels and the bed would slide out from the wall while resting, and slide away when standing. The hotel admitted that it knew it had the same problem in another room and ultimately they had to remove the frame to keep it stationary. They need to be more diligent in room inspection.
