The concierge assisted us with advice about restaurants performances and luckily museum opening times which saved us a Monday walk to the Musee D’Orsay. I love the decor which is a mix of styles- 70s with a bit of the 50s thrown in. Breakfast is available for additional cost. It is good and if you can’t exist on a croissant and coffee at breakfast time I would recommend it. It is also walking distance to the best department store in Paris- Grande Marche.This was my third stay there and I will be back again.

Pros: The room was terrific - very cool, interestingly appointed - including small terrace. Very nice, but noisy (outside) location.
Cons: The elevator going to my room (there was only one) would not open at my level. So after several futile attempts (and after speaking with hotel staff), I had to leave the elevator on the previous floor and take the dark, danky escape exit up to my level. To make matters worse, the elevator shaft must be on the side of the bedroom - so I had to listed to it's noice all night. By the time I left the next day, the elevator was still not fixed. As an aside, but not unusual for a Paris hotel, the room was not ready at 3pm (promised time) and they would extend late check out to me for one extra hour.
The hotel did not take any responsibility for these issues.

Pros: They were so nice at the property and went above and beyond to make sure you had what you needed. It’s a lovely property. Great area. And, it’s decorated in fun prints and wallpaper. The size of the hotel is perfect for a Paris get away. it was private enough and a quiet place. We were upgraded so I don’t know what the cozy room would have been like, it may have been very small, but we loved our third floor junior loft suite. It had all the modern amenities we needed. Thank you.

Cons: When i arrived at night on a prepaid reservation the reception staff tried to send me to another hotel nearby claiming the room had suffered damage and was unavailable. After a full day of travelling and not having received an advance notice of the "event" I suspected this was a trick used by an overçbooked hotel. I demanded to see the damages and this the supposed manager was unable to show me, so after a little voice raisingf on my part all of the sudden the room became available.
I left that the hotel reception made to lie to me their paying customer . Two more managers emerged and during my short saty the hotel personel made me feel as if they had made me and my wife a favor by letting us stay in the hotel for which I had PREPAID my stay. I can only imagine if my reservation was not prepaid I would have been in the street looking for a hotel room

Cons: Room was nice however the coathangers did not all remain hanging due to a broken top and the hanger for the room's 'do not disturb sign' fell out of the wall. Even though we had our sign on the door, turn down staff tried to come into the room repeatedly on both Saturday and Sunday.

Pros: The location was amazing. Our rooms had stunning views of the Eiffel Tower. We were a short walk over to the Eiffel Tower, the Batobus landing, and some great places to eat.
Cons: Our rooms weren’t ready on time. We actually didn’t try to check in until 2hrs after the check in time and they weren’t ready. Although, our 2 rooms were next to each other, the doors were pretty far apart. The challenge in this was that we were traveling with our 7 and 9 yr old children. And I only comment on it because I saw the adjoining room to my kids’ room arrive after we did. (My parents were in a 3rd room on another floor, which was fine.) It just made me wonder.

Pros: We loved the location. 20minutes walk to Sacre Coeur, less than 10minutes to the Moulin Rouge, the metro is one minute away and gives great access to all the key places of interest in Paris. It's one metro line to the Gare du Nord, taking 10minutes or so, therefore the location is very convenient. So many cafes and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel in any direction, you are spoilt for choice. Hotel staff were brilliant, very polite and helpful and so efficient too, we were able to check in 3 hours ahead of the time stated on the confirmation email. So we could get settled in our room before going out. Great stay and a highly recommended hotel choice.

Cons: Not having a body cream supplied as part of the hotel toiletries that are available for guests, fortunately we had packed a small bottle. Aside from this it was a lovely stay.

There was one outlet to use in the room which has 4 beds in it, they should add a power strip for more outlets and a small light by each bed would be nice too. An additional mirror outside of the bathroom so people can still finiish get ready when someone is in the bathroom, I stayed in an all female dorm and was surprised there was not another mirror.

The elevator stops on the fifth floor. The hotel space is tight. My room was small, and my bathroom, while clean and modern, was so small that I have bruises on my arms. But, again, the location is one of the best in Paris!

Cons: I’m used to Paris hotel rooms and expect them to be small. Our room at this hotel was, by far, the smallest I had ever seen. The bed took up almost the entire room. We had a hard time finding a place to put two suit cases, much less for two people to move around in the room. We travel to France fairly often but this hotel is off our list for a return visit.

Cons: Very disappointing experience. My specific request (one month in advance) for a double bed, NOT two singles pushed together, was confirmed, but NOT MET. When I complained, the receptionist could not do anything the rectify the situation. He did change me to another room the second night: an even tinier room, with a small double bed pushed against the wall. The sheet and thin blanket were tucked in with military precision. This made climbing in and out of bed in the middle of the night an interesting experience and uncomfortable for my partner. Upon checkout, I asked for a refund for the first night. The least they could have done, was to take off the charge for the breakfast (stale bread and croissants, served in a basement at 12 euro per person). No such luck, I would have to contact the director myself, but the receptionist did not want to give me his name, just a general email address. We ended up spending 675 euros for two rooms and six breakfasts and I do not think they offered good value for money. At this rate, there are better hotels in the 9th arrondissement.

Cons: Upon arrival we were informed that the AC wasn't working so every room had a fan. Each room has individual AC so not sure why ALL rooms had broken AC??????? Staff also informed us that ALL the fridges had been removed from rooms. There are new owners so perhaps this is cost cutting for them. Walls are so thin we could hear people in the next room having a conversation - felt like they were in the room with us. Mattress was a disaster - so uncomfortable and definately old. Paris is expensive but for what we paid we expected much more, the star rating should be zero. If I could have gotten my money back I would have moved hotels. The first room they gave us we couldn't even open the window the bed was up against it. Should have been a single room and they had put a double bed in there. We requested to be moved and finally were but staff was not happy. Only redeeming quality was the location.
