Cons: Room service for breakfast was a little uneven; two of three mornings an item was missing from a relatively short, simple order. That said, the coffee and juice were superb.

Pros: The room was terrific - very cool, interestingly appointed - including small terrace. Very nice, but noisy (outside) location.
Cons: The elevator going to my room (there was only one) would not open at my level. So after several futile attempts (and after speaking with hotel staff), I had to leave the elevator on the previous floor and take the dark, danky escape exit up to my level. To make matters worse, the elevator shaft must be on the side of the bedroom - so I had to listed to it's noice all night. By the time I left the next day, the elevator was still not fixed. As an aside, but not unusual for a Paris hotel, the room was not ready at 3pm (promised time) and they would extend late check out to me for one extra hour.
The hotel did not take any responsibility for these issues.

Pros: I like the Madison but I thought their staff was indifferent, only a couple of the front staff was nice the rest was just ...well indifferent. I hate to mentioned this but one had a really bad body odor. Common how can they allowed that, he works in the front! end of rant. The hotel was recently renovated and they did a beautiful job with the decoration. However, if it was up to me I would remove the the black chair on the corner. We couldn't sit on it because the nightstand and the desk blocked access to it. The faucet in the bathroom was annoying to use because you can only get hot water if you turn the knob on high?!?!? Sorry for being negative but I think it need to be said. I would recommend this hotel and will probably go back

Cons: Family's be aware of one minor quirk. The bathroom and shower doors are clear glass with a dulling switch. It just doesn't get real dull. It's still very see through for all members to see. However the rooms were very modern and clean.

Cons: There was no room for unpacking our clothes! stayed for one week and there was not a single drawer or shelf to store anything so after paying the rate of a 4 star hotel, we got the "confort" level of a 2 star hotel instead. The carpets were filthy and the matresses were soiled!
The narrow hallways smelled and felt like a cheap cruiseship.
We are very dissapointed with the quality of the rooms and the overall value of this hotel.

Pros: My wife and I were impressed with the hotel from the minute we walked into the lobby. The receptionist and bell hop could not have been more hospitable. Cons: When i arrived at night on a prepaid reservation the reception staff tried to send me to another hotel nearby claiming the room had suffered damage and was unavailable. After a full day of travelling and not having received an advance notice of the "event" I suspected this was a trick used by an overçbooked hotel. I demanded to see the damages and this the supposed manager was unable to show me, so after a little voice raisingf on my part all of the sudden the room became available.
I left that the hotel reception made to lie to me their paying customer . Two more managers emerged and during my short saty the hotel personel made me feel as if they had made me and my wife a favor by letting us stay in the hotel for which I had PREPAID my stay. I can only imagine if my reservation was not prepaid I would have been in the street looking for a hotel room

Pros: Location, Location, Location!!! Saint-Germain-des-Prés is a fabulous area and you can walk to many interesting sites and shops. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and welcome at the hotel and in the area.
Cons: The room I was assigned had a view of a generator that was a bit noisy in the early morning hours. Beware of Room 106 travelers!! Other than that everything was great!!

Pros: My wife and I were impressed with the hotel from the minute we walked into the lobby. The receptionist and bell hop could not have been more hospitable. The decor was elegant, and the spa and work out facilities were state of the art. In addition to this, the nearness to the Boulevard St. Germaine de Pres, boutiques, and cafes was excellent.

Cons: I would like to give advice for russian travellers, it is better to pay for the room by cash at check-in, becausу the hotel first make a pre-authorisation and the at check out they charge money from the card and it takes a lot of time for the bank to return money back. Please note also that a day before check-in the hotel blockes amount for the first night on the credit card!

This room was also much larger than the standard rooms. Definitely worth the higher cost! The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked well. Pros: On their homepage they inform that check-in is possible until 00.00 but as our plane arrived at CDG at 23.15 and RER connection was not available because of construction work during night time. I called to the hotel and informed about the delay and the receptionist kindly agreed to wait for us.
Cons: The room was very poor and very small. There was a toilet in the room but it had no door, only curtain. The room was very cold.

Pros: it is not a good hotel especially when you share toilet and shower it is not clean. it was hard for me to use in that hotel. I don't feel comfort because it is very old Hotel.

Pros: The hotel was older & basic, but as advertised; rooms included bathrooms with showers and price was great. The staff didn't speak much English, but we managed. The location was very convenient to Metro and next door was a wonderful little restaurant/bar with great food at reasonable prices. Daily dinner specials incl. 3 course meal, including gourmet dessert. Food as prepared by a great chef with wonderful presentation.
Cons: There is no lift (not a surprise for an older hotel), but we were able to get rooms on second floor, so only one flight of stairs.

Pros: Take the price into account, it's O.K. Near the Metro station; Everyday clean is good.
Cons: The reception is not so efficient, keep you waiting; The room condition and facility is so simple that you can't tell it a typical hotel.
