Pros: we didnt have breakfast

Cons: the color of the carpet in the room. It was red. i wish it could be a more calming color. Also too many mirrors in the room.

Pros: The Bar on the ground floor and the Friendly staff in general, but especially at the bar, because the bartender, I believe is called Alex, went above and beyond to make cocktails for us that sometimes were even not on the menu.

Cons: Just the wifi connection was a bit hard to manage sometimes. At first I had to completely change my room because there is no way it would connect, however after, when I went to my new room it worked better however it still would have quite a weak signal.

Pros: The property was beautiful classic french and was well maintained.

Cons: The fitness room was only open until 11 and you had to request a separate key from an employee to enter. The staff would knock on my door at inopportune times usually while I was changing or sleeping ( during the day time secondly to jet lag) and one time even unlocked the door and started to enter my room. There was a smugness that I could not quite put my finger on. At times Unnecessarily attentive and then when I really needed their assistance off putting. It was uncomfortable as a guest and for this reason I would not stay there again. I had reserved a deluxe room and while they accommodated me with an early check in tried to pass off a room that looked nothing like the pictures of the deluxe room. When I brought it to their attention after some discussion they accommodated my requests and gave me a room that looked like the ones pictured. Also it appeared that the mini bar options came with the cost of the room but then at check out I was charged what seemed like an absorbent amount for the minibar without any detail listed. The WiFi was spotty for prolonged use and it was an unsecured network which seems unacceptable for a property of this class. Overall the beauty of the property almost outweighs the interactions with some of the staff but I would not feel comfortable staying there again because of some , not all , of the staff interactions.

Pros: In a glamorous area of Paris and close to the beautiful attractions. The interior design is typically French described to be Proustian like in the works of the great writer Marcel Proust. Finely classical and the meals are highly delicious for those who still prefer classicism.

Pros: Charming, classy and historic hotel. Old world elegance and a warm cosy feeling staying here. Feels a little bit touched by the hand of time, but this actually adds character!

Cons: Kettle and a plug socket was broken. Room was far too hot very uncomfortable and disturbed sleep had to keep opening and closing the window to regulate an acceptable temperature. No robes or slippers in room so had to walk barefoot to the spa. Spa wasn’t actually a spa but just one small steam room and a room for an externally booked massage. Bathroom suite was very dated and overall hotel had a worn and slightly dirty look and feel. Should not be a 4 star hotel.

Pros: Lovely hotel in a great location. Beautiful and comfortable room and an amazing spa. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: Room was tiny: bathroom door could not even fully open it was bumping into the bed. Obviously not made for two people despite fact I booked for 2. Apart from that standards were good and convenient location - big avenue between Etoile and Trocadero - with loads of headquarters within walking distance.

Cons: The room is poor. Staff was incredibly terrible. Never seen a racist hotel staff before until we stay with this so called Sofitel. A single checking out needs 2 hours? They made 10 wrong invoices and wrong payment. It’s about money! Even started to think they were causing all this trouble in purpose. The front desk girl should be ashamed.

Pros: Interior design is nice, location is perfect and breakfast stuff and employees at bar were really nice.

Cons: Bed wasn’t good in room 411. We were without a electricity in both rooms whole morning, noone told us about the problems and because of them we were late on business meeting. Many stuff doesn’t speak english, it was hard to communicate in urgent situations. Second day someone was fighting at the hallway, and they woke up us at 6:30 in the morning. We informed reception but someone came to calm the down 3 hours later. Third morning someone was pushing doors so loud from 8 in the morning, we felt like there were problems in the part where our rooms were, but noone came to deal with it. At room 411 something smell terrible two days in a row, like bad instalations in the toilet and last morning smell was different, similar as cigarete smoke. At room 412 wasn’t water in the toilet one night, smell in room 411 and water shortage in room 412 were connected. When the smell was gone, the water disappeared . For a 5* hotel, we are fully dissapoitned.

Pros: Our room had a terrace. Every room at the hotel has a terrace, which I didn't know going in.

Cons: Room wasn't available at the time I tried to check in, but I feel like they made up for it with a really nice corner room with wraparound terrace.

Pros: Overall room was clean and good size. Hotel location is also convenient in between two metro station. The staffs were nice to let us do late check out.

Cons: Bed was noticeably sagging and uncomfortable.The room we got was next to the elevator and was very noisy.Shower was very small and the door opens to the toilet, you pretty much have to maneuver around when getting out of shower.There were mold in shower.

Cons: The hotel room was definitely not up to a 5 star rating.Having stayed at several hotels during our stay in France,this was by far our least favorite. Very few outlets( NONE in the restroom ) shower and sink fixtures falling apart, chipped paint everywhere

Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. After we switched from the original rooms we were put in, the rooms the hotel upgraded us to were much better.
