Paris hotels near Musee de l'Homme

Cons: The elevator going to my room (there was only one) would not open at my level. So after several futile attempts (and after speaking with hotel staff), I had to leave the elevator on the previous floor and take the dark, danky escape exit up to my level. To make matters worse, the elevator shaft must be on the side of the bedroom - so I had to listed to it's noice all night. By the time I left the next day, the elevator was still not fixed. As an aside, but not unusual for a Paris hotel, the room was not ready at 3pm (promised time) and they would extend late check out to me for one extra hour. The hotel did not take any responsibility for these issues.

Cons: When i arrived at night on a prepaid reservation the reception staff tried to send me to another hotel nearby claiming the room had suffered damage and was unavailable. After a full day of travelling and not having received an advance notice of the "event" I suspected this was a trick used by an overçbooked hotel. I demanded to see the damages and this the supposed manager was unable to show me, so after a little voice raisingf on my part all of the sudden the room became available. I left that the hotel reception made to lie to me their paying customer . Two more managers emerged and during my short saty the hotel personel made me feel as if they had made me and my wife a favor by letting us stay in the hotel for which I had PREPAID my stay. I can only imagine if my reservation was not prepaid I would have been in the street looking for a hotel room

Cons: The staff was very rude . When I requested a half an hour delay in check out time , they threatened to barge in the room exactly at 12.00 . I had to tell them , if they like I can walk in underpants in the lobby and dress up there !!!! Very impolite and rude for a four star hotel . Never choose this hotel , whatever the good review might say....

Cons: Rooms did not have any drawer storage for clothes, There was room for 2 night stands yet there was only one. Paint color in rooms and hall was depressive,

Cons: Staff was rude and unaccommodating. Rooms were not available at the checkin time and staff repeatedly instructed patrons to come back every hour which ruined a day of travel. Wouldn't recommend for vacation travelers.

Cons: Staff not very friendly. Try to call bell hop in morning of our departure no answer had to carry our own luggage down. Bathroom shower was full of mold very nasty try to change room Hotel was 100% booked or so we were told. We booked to have room with Eiffel Tower but instead got room on first floor with no view. Two guests arrived after us got much better rooms. Only difference we booked thru Expedia and other guests booked directly with Hotel.

Cons: The hotel lacked general cleanliness and the shared bathrooms were in various states of disrepair. It was also very noisy which goes with that area of Paris but the sheets of the bed had hair on them from the previous user.

Cons: Minibar not restocked

Cons: We had to ask for shampoo, soap, and instant coffee refills. Cleaning staff was not attentive to these details. One the positive side, when these issues were pointed out they were corrected promptly.

Cons: Nothing really outstanding. Elevators are odd. Staff was mostly indifferent. Room was small (about as large as a typical cruise ship room). Wi-Fi worked but not well.
