Pros: From the moment we arrived ( early) the staff and management went beyond expectation to make my husband and I feel both welcome and at home. Coffee and the best croissants I have ever had as a welcome treat. Our lovely room was ready for us early, including a delicious bottle of white wine. The jazz lounge every evening was an additional treat after a long sight seeing and shopping day. The concierge dinner recommendations and shopping suggestions were instrumental in making our 2 day stay magical..... Clearly we were extremely happy with this boutique hotel, all staff and service. Loved this hotel!!

Pros: Everything. Lovely and helpful staff, fantastic concierge، location is close to every attraction in Paris you can think of. It is a Boutique but with the highest standards that would exceed your expectations. Julia in front desk was very professional and passionate with a great smile, not mentioning the whole staff we have engaged with, everyone was just awesome. We're definitely coming back to this magical place.

Pros: From the moment we arrived we just fell in love with the hotel. The décor and the design of the place is simply stunning and we were greeted with warm welcomes and hospitality. The lobby area was amazing kitted out with a chess set and an honesty bar which has a wide selection of drinks that were also very reasonably priced. We also had our room upgraded from the cosy double to the suite and it was absolutely exceptional. It was one of the comfiest beds I have ever stayed in and there was so much room, space, and just authentic Paris style. The location is great and in the Latin Quarter which was lovely to walk around, and go to he restaurants and just busk in Paris life.

Pros: We booked a suite and were allocated a ground floor apartment with its own front door off the entrance courtyard to the hotel. Rooms were a bit small, so next time I’d ask for more spacious accommodation, but if was still lovely. We even had a bar in our lounge! Public rooms were beautiful and extremely comfortable. The honesty bar made you feel you were in someone’s private house as opposed to a hotel. Staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: The room was terrific - very cool, interestingly appointed - including small terrace. Very nice, but noisy (outside) location.
Cons: The elevator going to my room (there was only one) would not open at my level. So after several futile attempts (and after speaking with hotel staff), I had to leave the elevator on the previous floor and take the dark, danky escape exit up to my level. To make matters worse, the elevator shaft must be on the side of the bedroom - so I had to listed to it's noice all night. By the time I left the next day, the elevator was still not fixed. As an aside, but not unusual for a Paris hotel, the room was not ready at 3pm (promised time) and they would extend late check out to me for one extra hour.
The hotel did not take any responsibility for these issues.

Pros: I felt like a welcome guest in a close friend's home. The staff are impeccably trained; they couldn't be more efficient, friendly, and accommodating. It's not often you feel that a hotel sincerely appreciates your stay, but that was definitely my impression. Speaking as a guest of several hotels in the 6th and 7th over the years, I can say without hesitation that the Bel Ami tops them all.

Cons: When i arrived at night on a prepaid reservation the reception staff tried to send me to another hotel nearby claiming the room had suffered damage and was unavailable. After a full day of travelling and not having received an advance notice of the "event" I suspected this was a trick used by an overçbooked hotel. I demanded to see the damages and this the supposed manager was unable to show me, so after a little voice raisingf on my part all of the sudden the room became available.
I left that the hotel reception made to lie to me their paying customer . Two more managers emerged and during my short saty the hotel personel made me feel as if they had made me and my wife a favor by letting us stay in the hotel for which I had PREPAID my stay. I can only imagine if my reservation was not prepaid I would have been in the street looking for a hotel room

Cons: Restaurant was really bad: bad service (one person only doing it all) , cold food and variety isn´t good . As per the ambient, despite having a nice room outside , the place was closed and we had to eat at the location of breakfast. Room is very small to fit 4 people as we paid for.

Pros: We loved the hotel, location was amazing and the staff were so friendly in helping and proving anything we needed. Due to the strike in Paris it was difficult to find Taxis, but the hotel made sure we got taxis every time. The breakfast was lovely, the best were the eggs and waffles, they have an amazing patio were you can enjoy a nice glass of wine with friends. We will surely be staying here again next time.

Cons: I felt very uncomfortable with the area - being hassled by the homeless sleeping rough on the doorstep and small gangs approaching to engage as I walked to and from the hostel. Also, there is lots of noise from people walking the street and passing cars (the door of the ‘private’ room we stayed in opens directly onto the street), as well as plumbing in the building, squeaking doors, from guests in the next door room and other neighbours in the building (not that they were particularly noisy but you can hear them talking and walking around, there’s no privacy really. Bunk beds are short for someone just over 180cm tall and the metal structure super squeaky.

(A tip to anyone going here: if you walk to Sacré Core, you can see the Eiffel Tower twinkle on the hour at night! So pretty!) As a solo traveler, I love a place with friendly fellow-travelers, and the hostel seemed to attract some nice, out-going people. (At least while I was there!) The rooms were divided into sections with a bunk bed and a sink in each room, so it felt like you had some space to yourself! The folks at the reception desk were always really helpful too! Someone even printed me out directions of how to get to the airport when I couldn’t use my phone!

The navette to the airport was highly professional. The view of Sacre Couer was second to none and I could not recommend this accommodation more highly.

Pros: The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. Nice common area with plenty of seating and a couple couches. Rooms have nice windows that open and rooms stay dark with curtains drawn, so it's good for sleeping.
Cons: Bathrooms are old and smell a little moldy. There was one outlet to use in the room which has 4 beds in it, they should add a power strip for more outlets and a small light by each bed would be nice too. An additional mirror outside of the bathroom so people can still finiish get ready when someone is in the bathroom, I stayed in an all female dorm and was surprised there was not another mirror.

Pros: I'm traveling with lots of bags and arrived very early the morning of my stay but the staff works 24 hours and let me check in the bags! I got a free upgrade from mixed gender to all female room which I highly appreciated because I regretted my choice from earlier. I got breakfast there the first day for 6 euros but you can probably get it somewhere locally for more food at a higher price, or if you venture out early in the morning there are cheaper breakfasts (especially near the Parthenon and University area, I found cheaper options!)

Cons: Some people in the reception were rude.we asked for a taxi and never came...it was the same man who made our check out and he didn't even say "thank you"... from a hotel with this name we expected more! also the buffet was really poor and surely not for 15€ p.p
