Pros: A great true five star hotel. Excellent and knowledgeable concierge. Location is outside of the Montepoleone shopping district so a nice oasis to come home to at pIazza Republica. Great part was frequent Benz stretch limo pickup and drop off from the hotel to La Scala/ Duomo and Montepoleone area -- that was extreme helpful with kids. Had an upgrade which was appreciated and not asked for. Breakfast were absolutely excellent and included in our price. Champagne, full hot foods and fresh fruits and pastries. Will definitely be back!!

Cons: Breakfast prices were ridiculously high and quality was horrible. They also rip you off. We dined a la carte for breakfast the first day but were charged for the super high priced buffet. The good itself was horrible. Second morning all we had was juice , crossaint and coffee and were once again ripped off. This hotel is a rip off. Only good for business people billing their companies. Hotel was not even able to correct our charges during check out leaving us a bet other taste of being ripped off.

Pros: The Westin was the 3rd hotel we stayed at in Milan after the first hotel (a boutique) being a massive disappointment and the second hotel trying to double the price on the second day. Arriving at the Westin you are greeted with old world luxury and modern amenities. Staff were superb, bed lovely, location impeccable. As a soiled gal from Manhattan- this met and exceed expectations!

Cons: Room was small and oddly shaped (triangular?) and the bathroom had the smallest shower I've ever stepped foot into, but at least everything was clean! I couldn't open my curtains ever to let in natural light because the view was into some other residences' private courtyard.

Cons: However I was promised free Wi-Fi in my room and on my level there was none. I called and was told that there was nothing they can do about it. Also the air conditioning did not work so I had a rough time trying to sleep with the room being too hot.

Cons: The worst service ever gotten. The receptionist at the front desk wanted to charge us $15 for early check in when we arrived pass 12pm and the room as ready. We askef to talk to me manager and he lied with a smile saying that he was in a conference call. I told him was lying and that we demanded to speak to the manager. Finally he when to see the manager and after more than 15 min discussion, he agreed to do the check in without extra charge. In conclusion, these people try to take advantage of the guests, lie and doest care. We travalled all around italy abd was the only place where we have such a horrible service.

Cons: The website said that they had free wifi which as not true. Other guests at the hotel also mentioned the same thing to the staff and the staff would just say that the wifi Internet is €3 and can only be used in the lobby. After so many complaints I'm surprised they haven't updated there website to reflect the truth.
I read on other review sites that the A/C was not working when they were there this was the case for me as well and I assume that there is never any A/C. They state that it is broken but how has it been broken for this long now. I assume they just don't provide any.
If you have a room facing the front of the building you have o put up hearing the street car screech by all the time. There is no soundproofing.
They want you to return the room key every time you exit the hote and collect it again when you return to the hotel. It's inconvient to always have to tak to the front desk just to grab your room key

Cons: Shower and room were like from 1960s. No renovation done for really long time. This hotel was too expensive(nearly---Euro/room) for the quality. Do not recommend it.

Was charge for 10 euros a day for breakfast which was not good. Cant understand how this is a three star hotel.

Cons: Very poor room lay out. It took me 3 times as long to do simple things like shower, put cloths on, etc. I have been in small shower stalls before but not like this. impossible to maneuver.
