Pros: The rooms (we had 3 rooms) were clean, modern and spacious. The location was excellent and within walking distance of the places we wanted to see, i.e. the Duomo, La Scala and Galleria. I would highly recommend your property to my friends. Your staff assisted us in securing transportation to Lake Cuomo. The driver arrived on time and got us to Lake Cuomo without any issues. Your buffet breakfast was also excellent.

Cons: Well , if you wake up late missing your dinner reservation @ 10:30 pm, all you can eat is cold food. Although the staff was super nice to me post that incident sent me complementary champagne , booked for me in a Resturant that offers late dinner offered to pay the taxi, offered free breakfast , however the hotel policy needs major change , the previous day I had been driving for a continuous 11 hrs and arrived also at 11 pm and still couldn’t find a decent meal. Moral of the story , if you are in Milan and in that hotel .... eat early cause otherwise you won’t find something decent to eat. I do appreciate the friendly staff especially the concierge he worked hard to please me;however, I was so upset not to be able to get a late decent meal at the hotel . All in all , it was an experience, but next time I know what I will be looking for other than hotel facilities .

Loved the location of the hotel and it was beautifully done. Nice big washroom with spacious shower with designer toiletries. Tons of hanging space for clothes. Nice breakfast was included as was spa access with our room which was nice after a busy day. The staff were very polite and easily communicated with us in English. Roman on the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Cons: Our first room was dark, view out the window was a square of other rooms looking back at us. The room was cold upon entry as a wondow had been left open. There was a considerable odour in the room and the hallway outside our room that not even an open window could dilute. So bad that it was actually making us feel ill. When we reported it to reception it seemed like no surprise and a new room was offered straight away but with no apology. Not what you would expect for a four star hotel. Also the mirrors in the room are far from the nearest sockets so not great if you want to do your hair.

Pros: The location was brilliant, few mins from the Duomo and train station. The room was super clean and really spacious, had a full little mini kitchen. Plus had a sofa bed which was a huge bonus. Also really liked that they did not have individual soaps but bottles of shampoo/conditioner on the wall- way better for the environment.
Cons: The wet shower, we've seen a few of these around Europe so it must be a "thing" but it's super annoying because you get out of the shower and the floors wet/bath mat is wet and then you can't dry your feet. Sorry Europe/Duomo wet showers suck

Cons: The parking of a private car is kind of challenging, however the hotel has a special rate (3 5EUR/day) with a nearby parking garage, which is, however, accessible only after 7 in the morning. Good to have this possibility because parking on the street in front of the hotel can be as much as 60 EUR/day.. Best to leave the car in Lampugnano Car Park, and take metro/taxi for all visits, or to rent bikes.

The staff who greeted me on arrival were genuine and warm and went out of their way to assist me to view and upgrade by payment to a room more suited to my work and relaxation needs. Pros: Close to all that is exciting about this truly European- Italian city the new rooms are highly functional and the older lobby harks back to an era of class. The staff who greeted me on arrival were genuine and warm and went out of their way to assist me to view and upgrade by payment to a room more suited to my work and relaxation needs. The park nearby is a bonus of early morning walks. It’s so easy to walk or grab a taxi to anywhere you want to go.

Cons: The service at breakfast was very poor. The Argentinian girl doesn't speak Italian at all. This is a disservice. Also, not very attentive, nor friendly. The breakfast menu is a little small. The room service menu is too dinner typed. You need smaller dishes too, like sandwiches and fries.

Cons: On arrival the toilet in our room wouldn’t flush. We reported this and it was repaired. However after using it twice the same problem happened and again the toilet wouldn’t flush and water was running into the toilet bowl all night, which prevented us sleeping properly. We had to use the toilet in the foyer! We reported it again and it was repaired again. It worked for most of the next day then the problem developed again, resulting in us having to use the foyer toilet again and listening to running water all night. We reported it for a third time and the maintenance guy carried out a “temporary repair”! Over a 4 night stay in this 4 star hotel we lost two nights sleep and had to use the toilet in the foyer more times than we could use the toilet in our room. At a cost of nearly £800 for 4 nights this is unacceptable. While the reception dealt with our complaints promptly, the fault was never properly repaired. At no point were we offered another room or a reduced bill at the end of our stay. Very disappointing. Ruined our wedding anniversary holiday.

Cons: The coffee at the breakfast was made from soluble coffee, so it was terrible. The hot water tasted strange and was never that hot, so the tea was not drinkable. The croissants and most of the fruits were not fresh. The food was ok overall. Despite the room and the bathroom were quite big, the shower was so small that one can hardly move inside. There were mold at every corner and scratches on the wall papers. The rooms were renovated so the rest was looking clean. I think the cleaning lady was trying to do her best. The people at the reception was looking very upset and never smiling. Overall, the hotel was not value for money.

Carlo, the office manager, is a nice guy. The lift barely fits 2 people. But you need the lift if you have an apartment on one of the higher floors. Our room was an interesting mix of old and modern. There was a white and gold ornate column in the centre of our bedroom. The apartment was eclectic in design. It was comfortable for the few days we were there. There was one wine glass and one drinking glass and crockery for two people. It was clean and cosy. Everything we needed was there, but in a quirky way. We enjoyed our stay.

Cons: The Hotel did not meet my expectations as I was 'downgraded' from the room type I had booked. Was not advised of this in advance and after getting into the room I realised this was not what I had booked and paid extra for. The receptionist was not aware as she only comes in part time. She rang the owner and I was advised of a booking system mix up, could not change room and was offered an apology, 'free' breakfast at a near by restaurant and a cheap bottle of wine, these barely covered the price difference. Please note: this is an old refurbished building, rooms are clean and quirky, ours was small. The lift is very small (fits 2 skinny people), lots of stairs. One desk at entrance for part time receptionist. I could see no indication of fire prevention, no notices, no alarms, no emergency stairs etc. I was not advised until a few days before arrival that the building is surrounded by scaffolding and covering, so don't expect any sunlight or view (perhaps the scaffolding is the fire exit. Looks like scaffolding had been there for some time and being Italy will probably remain for a long time.

Pros: The apartment was wonderful, ours had a spa bath which was great. Lovely bathroom, the shower was sensational. Very spacious, comfortable bed, excellent staff - very helpful & friendly.
Cons: Unfortunately for us there were works being done outside, so it was very noisy. Also, being so close to tram lines, the property constantly “rumbled” & vibrated with the tram movements, which disturbed our sleep. Being my first time in Milan, I booked somewhere central, assuming it would be convenient. It was probably too central - the duomo area is very touristy & next time I would stay a bit further away.

Cons: The worst service ever gotten. The receptionist at the front desk wanted to charge us $15 for early check in when we arrived pass 12pm and the room as ready. We askef to talk to me manager and he lied with a smile saying that he was in a conference call. I told him was lying and that we demanded to speak to the manager. Finally he when to see the manager and after more than 15 min discussion, he agreed to do the check in without extra charge. In conclusion, these people try to take advantage of the guests, lie and doest care. We travalled all around italy abd was the only place where we have such a horrible service.

Cons: We stayed here to nights on this trip. The first night in august and the last in september. We had the same problem on both. We booked a triple room, with a single and a double bed. The first night we got 2 single beds and a child's foldable bed, like an extra bed that you ask for children and pay something more up the double room rate. And at the last night, we did get a double bed but the same foldable bed for children as a "third" single bed. Its unacceptable. You pay for a normal bed and receive a bed very, very uncomfortable, with mattress even worst. I did complain about it with the front desk staff, but they didn't do anything. The hotel was very very buy and the breakfast time was the worst experience ever. We already had payed for it, otherwise we would not have tried to have breakfast there. So was the worst experience in a Ibis I ever had.

Cons: Booked a suite with a separate living area with sofa bed for our son and when we arrived were given a completely unsuitable suite. The bath was in the middle of the bedroom with a small dining table next to it (?!), there was a glass walled shower cubicle at the side of the room with no form of privacy blind and the sink was in the main bedroom too. Separate toilet. There was a single bed pretty much across the bottom of the double bed. It was not at all suitable for a family with an older child. We complained to reception, who were very helpful but did not have another suite available. There are two other suites, both of which have the separate area we had booked but they were taken. For the first night we were put in two separate rooms and on the second night we moved to the suite we should have had in the first place. This was ok and worked for us, although a nuisance that we had to move rooms and couldn’t properly unpack. Depending on the age of child this may not work for some families.
