Cons: Noise from rubbish collections during the night. Our front facing room on second floor was noisy and our sleep was disturbed on most nights. Expensive, but Milan is an expensive city. No restaurant or spa facilities.

Great part was frequent Benz stretch limo pickup and drop off from the hotel to La Scala/ Duomo and Montepoleone area -- that was extreme helpful with kids. Had an upgrade which was appreciated and not asked for. Breakfast were absolutely excellent and included in our price. Champagne, full hot foods and fresh fruits and pastries. Will definitely be back!!

Cons: Hotel didn’t feel 5 star. Stale nougat at turndown (it was so hard, you couldn’t eat it), no fruit or treats on arrival. Concierge was sarcastic and not engaged in providing good service. I was also left unattended at both lobby (drinks) and breakfast room.

Cons: The quality of the room service food was very poor. The breakfast was poor sa well especially considering that costs 40 euros / person. Our room ( a junior suite) looked quiet old, it didn’t look fresh at all. Our phone didn’t work properly and the bathroom scale didn’t work at all. The temperature of the room was awful ,as well. We didn’t manage to get a nice temperature ( or super hot or cold) and it was really dry, in fact we didn’t sleep well. The bed was made by two different beds , one was slightly shorter than the other.

Cons: Below should always come as standard for all hotels - but Glam Hotel does NOT provide 1) Electric kettle in each room 2) Complimentary drinking water 3) Complimentary snacks/tea/coffee bags in-room 4) Most important, Glam offers pancakes each morning in their breakfast buffet BUT do NOT have any maple syrup. When I checked with the restaurant staff, they said they ran out. I stayed 3 nights and on the 3rd morning, still no not replenished!! This is really terrible service for the price I am paying at EUR310 per night!

The apartment is tiny but super nice and ergonomically decorated (except for the chair - see the "didn't like" section) with a great, comfortable bed and bathroom. If you plan on spending a lot of time in the room, then it probably is not the best choice because of its size but if you spend most of your day sightseeing (why would you stay in the room while in Milan?) and return for the evening and night, the place is perfect for a couple, no problem whatsoever. The view from the balcony is great - the columns, the church and the piazza. You can have a nice glass of red. Overall: quite enjoyable. The room service. Fantastic! Water cooler in the hallway - what a great idea, especially on a hot, humid day: thank you, hosts!! Alessandro took care of us and helped with everything we needed - thank you.

Cons: Only one chair in the room. Why? I cannot understand why it is done so often these days. It is dumb to provide one chair only, period. Yet, it is very common especially at newly adapted and ergonomically decorated places like this one. Interior designers should not compromise function for aesthetics. Single chair leaves nothing but bed to sit on. This one is definitely a negative, IMO. Example: Imagine: you spend a whole day sightseeing. Dead tired from all the walking and standing in line-ups, having bought a bottle of a red you want to relax and enjoy a glass while reminiscing about attractions of the day and... well, one of you has nothing to sit on but bed inside while you both could sit outside, on the balcony and enjoy the view of the piazza beneath and the church up ahead. Missed opportunity, in my view.

Cons: The room smelt very strongly of cigarettes; so intensely that it was impossible to get a decent night's sleep as the stench of cigarettes induced coughing all night, as well as irritated eyes, nose etc. A huge shame as it ruined the stay entirely.

Cons: The property was overpriced and the pictures not accurate. Our room for three was tiny and the balcony view on the church definitely not ours. Also, the property was not sound proof hence we heard neighbours coming back late which was disturbing sleep. At least the room was clean and comfortable. However, overall I was not satisfied with the stay at all and feel cheated.

Cons: Most Dining tables came with 2 chairs but tables were too small for 2 people having breakfast. While picking up food , there was nowhere to rest your plate.... you had to hold your plate while slicing Italian bread . which was so uncomfortable if not mpossible. If you wanted to have second serving and use a new plate, the tables were too tiny to accommodate more than 3 regular -sized plates. The toilet sink was too narrow, you easily spilled water on the toilet floor when brushing your teeth. The showers stall was so small ( I am just 5’5” tall and 133 lbs). Anyone bigger surely will find the shower stall too tiny for a comfortable shower activity. While staff was generally friendly and helpful, and the bed sheets and towels were clean... I will not stay here again.

Pros: Check-in was quick, took less than 2 minutes (I was a regular)! Guiseppe and Danielle at reception were the best! I felt very much welcome! The girls at the counter were also very helpful during check-out (called taxi for me). Lady staff even delivered a package sent by my friend to my room. They were kind enough to print my boarding pass. I went to the bar at ground floor to ask for ice, they gladly obliged. They all speak good English, communication was great. Area is very safe even at night. Gerusalemme metro station (line 5) is 200 mts away. Bus 57 to Cairoli metro stn (line M1) and Sforza Castle (aka Sforzesco Castle) is just around the corner (100 mts away). From there you can walk just 1 km to the Duomo di Milano. Tram line 1 (Greco-Roserio route) is an alternative, with Domodossola station only 250 mts away. It takes you direct to Duomo in 30-40 mins (get off at Teatro Alla Scala). Hotel is 400m mts away from big supermarket Esselunga along via Losanna where you can get all you need (cooked food, drinks, fruits, cheese, cold cuts, etc). Just across the hotel is a pizza and kebab place called Koky where you can get nice pizza/kebab with drinks for only 6 euro and it's open till late night. I just keep coming back to this Hotel!

Cons: Wifi was not that fast but for me it was just ok (I'd rather not pay extra for faster wifi). Minibar was full of drinks for sale, left little space for my snacks but that's ok. Btw, they give 2 complimentary bottles of water for my entire stay. Hope they could give more.

Cons: The worst service ever gotten. The receptionist at the front desk wanted to charge us $15 for early check in when we arrived pass 12pm and the room as ready. We askef to talk to me manager and he lied with a smile saying that he was in a conference call. I told him was lying and that we demanded to speak to the manager. Finally he when to see the manager and after more than 15 min discussion, he agreed to do the check in without extra charge. In conclusion, these people try to take advantage of the guests, lie and doest care. We travalled all around italy abd was the only place where we have such a horrible service.

Cons: The hotel is located in a busy road and it is a bit old.

Pros: Location is excellent, staff is wonderful, transportation options (from train station and airport) good but a bit expensive. A bit expensive for the clean but small rooms, but given the location it is expected.
Cons: They were doing renovations in the hallways and the place (hallways) were messy.

Pros: Great location, walking distance to the Last Supper, the Castle and the Galleria.
Cons: Most rooms are small, but they are clean.

Pros: The hotel position is very central and well served by public transport.
Cons: This is not a 4 star hotel. The building is old and not well kept, the staff is not really welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is served until 9:30am on Saturday and Sunday as well, so if you want to stay in bed more you have to go out and have your breakfast elsewhere.

Pros: The location is excellent, it’s a little dated but very clean. I used the shuttle service and was collected in one of their Tesla’s I loved it. Such a lovely driver too.
Cons: My room was at the front on the road, the shutters were down and curtains closed which made the room very dark (great for a lie in) but it was particularly noisy.

Pros: Location is perfect! And staff that was working at night shifts was good and kind too! The clean lady crushed our hearts by her everyday cleaning, it was perfect!
Cons: It was really cold in the room, especially in the night. Wind was coming from the window ... they had just central heater and it wasn’t working whole time. They didn’t have shampoo in the rooms:(

Cons: The stuff was not friendly. Bar was closed the whole time. It was soo loud in my room they had workers there who fixed a wall.
