Pros: The resort itself is like nothing we have ever stayed at in Gatlinburg and we have been coming here for 38 years and have stayed at approximately 30 or 40 properties. We will definitely be coming back here for an extended stay when we come back in June 2020. Very friendly staff and excellent rooms. Extremely clean beautiful property. I would definitely recommend Margaritaville to everyone.

Pros: Room and grounds were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons: The electricity went out one night because of high winds and they only had emergency lights in the hallway. They didn’t inform us as to what was being done to fix the problem. We had to sit in the dark until they came back on. I feel that they should have emergency lights in the rooms so you can see in case that happens.

Pros: The check in desk clerks were very friendly. That is the ONLY positive experience we had. For the price of the room per night, there should be a complimentary breakfast, at the very least.
Cons: Where should I really even start?! The room was EXTREMELY TINY, bathroom was even more cramped, no exhaust fan, shower head filthy & the shower curtain wouldn't close at the end near shower head & the floor got unavoidably soaked. The in room fridge wasn't working. There were dead stink bugs all over the floor in front of the balcony door. We found dead bed bugs in the bathroom, after which disgusted/freaked us out so badly that we couldn't relax or fall asleep. YES BED BUGS! We couldn't stop thinking about where the live ones were at. We were horrified. There was a male staff member literally sitting on top of a table that the microwave sat on (in the hallway outside of our room). He was on his phone texting. I said excuse me three times before he acknowledged me. I asked for extra towels. He went into a utility room, he sees me looking right at him and he continues to text! After about 90 seconds, I finally said "Can I please have those towels now?!" He hands them to me but doesn't even look up from his phone! There was hair everywhere on the carpeting from pets--next morning, same ball of animal hair in the same spot, same cluster of leaves in the same spot. The inside decor is outdated and carpeting is dirty and smells. The photos online are deceiving and portray a newer modern property when in reality the place is ran down. Despite dead bed bugs, we stuck it out and stayed in the 288$ a night room (with no complimentary anything) because we were exhausted from our long drive and didn't want to have to go out in the dark, cold, rainy night not knowing the area and no reservation on a Saturday night! I booked this room and paid the outrageous price per night specifically because it was a "Hilton". Disappointed and disgusted with my first Hilton property experience, to say the least! :( Believe me, it's everything I have in me to be nice with this feedback.

Pros: This is a 300 room hotel with all of the amenities and unique architecture and views.

Pros: We did like that the trolley came to the hotel and that we were so close to the Gatlinburg strip.
Cons: I diddnt like that the room was really dusty and the bed was hard and the furniture looked like it had not been wiped down in some time and the floors in our bathroom had not been swept or mopped any when we got there or anytime while we were there. We also diddnt like that on the site it told us breakfast was included with our stay but when we got there was told it was not that we would have to pay $14.95 per person every morning for breakfast

The location is perfect as it is right at the start of Gatlinburg and you can walk anywhere. The free breakfast is always a favorite of ours because as you know breakfast time is a VERY crowded time in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. This way you can get a good breakfast with eggs, waffles, yogurt, coffee, juice, cereal etc. and be on your way exploring Gatlinburg while everybody else will still be standing in line to get in a pancake breakfast. AND did I mention breakfast is included free? Great location, clean rooms, comfy beds, free breakfast. Whats not to love?

Pros: Close to the strip and easily walked every day. Took the hassle of parking and driving away as a stressor.

Pros: The room was clean and warm and the fireplace worked amazingly well. The staff was polite and courteous. There are luggage carts, you just have to find one. Most of them are by the elevator on each floor. I also liked that I could see my car clearly from my balcony, if I parked out front, and the front door if I parked out back.

Pros: Close to the strip and easily walked every day. Took the hassle of parking and driving away as a stressor.
Cons: The last night of 3 the neighbors could be heard thru the adjoining door.

Most of them are by the elevator on each floor. I also liked that I could see my car clearly from my balcony, if I parked out front, and the front door if I parked out back.
Cons: The only thing I didnt like was that the facility is an outside facility, but that's my fault for not paying attention to the position of the doors.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was an easy walk into Gatlinburg without parking issues or the noise of being in downtown.
Cons: Our room was provided with fresh towels and the trash emptied everyday, but not once was our bed made. Not sure if that is the norm, but was really weird. We did see the maid once on a floor and she was fighting with someone and had her child with her so?
7.9 Good
Pros: Room was very nice
Cons: The walls are too thin - the people next door kept us from sleeping despite the office staff called and asked them to be quiet. We had to cut our trip short.

Pros:
Cons: We were there for a cheer competition, so we didn't get back to the room until around 10pm. We were in an adjoining room. The people in the other room knocked on our door twice and told us to be quiet. It was just me, my daughter and her 9 year old daughter. We were not loud at all. Would request no adjoining room next time. Room was clean and very nice. Beds were comfortable. Loved the fireplace!

Pros: The only good thing to the hotel was the walking distances to everything.
Cons: I would never stay here again. The staff at the front desk were not nice and the room was horrible. It hasn't been updated in years. The bed was hard as a rock and the carpets were dirty. The air vent was not cleaned in months and had mold. There was no water pressure for the shower and if you wanted ice you had to go to another building, get on the elevator and go to the 4th floor.
4.0 Okay
Pros:
Cons: After making the booking we were told that the Pet Fee was $ 170 per night which did not make sense when the room charge for the family of 4 adults was less than $ 100 per night. The hotel said they could not reduce the pet fee since it was their policy but the fee is not mentioned in a transparent manner. The hotel front desk did say that the pet fee is a fine print and they cannot do much. The room was non cancellable and hence we are left with no choice but to pay

Pros: Location on the river was cute, the sweet lady who checked us into the continental breakfast.
Cons: There were spider webs everywhere, under the beds, behind the chairs, had to deal with several spiders while we were there, service at the desk was poor, we asked for an additional towel and were told we had to wait until house cleaning got around to us, the doors weren't sealed so leaves/dirt/dust blew in under the doors, the misleading word "Resort" in the name of the hotel, (I've been at Motel 8's that vastly surpassed this experience), the continental breakfast, which I prepaid for online, was beyond terrible. The saddest thing to me is that it looks like it was probably a very nice place at some point, but has not been taken care of well in a very long time.

Cons: Old still needs updates. Window treatments should be updated and thicker. There was too much light coming through front window. Towels had some holes. We did leave a tip in the room but didn’t like the tip envelope that was left on the desk.

Pros: The pool was great.
Cons: Don’t get a room with a pool view. Though it may sound very nice, the pool stays open until 11 PM, and the kids are so loud that you won’t be able to sleep. On top of it, there is a window above our door that had no curtain, and the hallway lights kept us up all night as the room cannot get dark.

Pros: Good water pressure in the shower. Good location.
Cons: It definitely needs updating. The wall colors are awful and the fluorescent lights make the room uncomfortable. The staff scream at one another and the towel bins have priorty over guests using the elevator. I've stayed at Microtel before and they were much nicer for the same price. The next time I go to Gatlinburg I'll gladly pay more for a different hotel.

Cons: Everything. There were flies in the room. Room was extremely dirty. False advertising. Due to renovations there is no free breakfast. Do not recommend this hotel at all.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location is superb! The bed is comfortable.
Cons: The breakfast was not very good, the gravy was refrigerator cold and the staff had to take it to the back to heat it up. The biscuits were very hard that and we had to microwave them to get them edible. The staff responsible for making the food acted clueless and seemed as if they did not know how to do their job, the lady at the front desk had to go back and help them. There were teenagers running around the property (they were also staying there) very loud and left trash all over the place, there was no parental guidance and although another guest complained nothing was done about this. I was on the 3rd floor so we just stayed away from the chaos.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The only thing decent about this place is the location.
Cons: The place is a nightmare. Very dirty and piled with trash. I was locked out of my room with my son until 1am because the door was broken and they would not help me. There was a man beating his girlfriend in the parking lot, and getting high.

Cons: Bathroom sink was leaking underneath. I had to turn the hot water on at the plumbing as it had been turned off. I wanted to stop at front desk and report it but was in a hurry to get on the road to home as bad weather was upon us for traveling. Also, kitchen areas was great but there was no dishware or utensils to eat or cook with. However, overall the place was a great deal for the price.

Cons: The hotel looks like it is from 1940, the pictures I saw before compared to what it actually looks like is a night and day difference. The room has molded baseboards, first night we realized that the sheets where not cleaned and new it appeared they were just turned inside out and put back on, we asked for new sheets and we aren’t sure they were clean either so we bought our own sheets.. Bathroom was small and wouldn’t be so bad if you didn’t have to share it with spiders. Took 40 mins to get hot water because wellll hot is cold and cold is hot...overall for the price this hotel is way over priced even for the location.. This property should have their franchise pulled until they can meet the higher standards of cleanliness and upgrade the facility. Paint alone does not account for upgrade

5.4 Okay
Pros: Nothing really was Good.
Cons: This was not a good experience. Upon arrival the room was located on a back street and the garbage was right at the door and over flowing. I had reserved a smoking room and got a confirmation. They stated we don't have one empty. They also stated they had Wi-Fi and we had nothing talked to front desk and a man came and said sorry it must be down. Just was not a good experience.
