Pros: The rooms are large and you don't feel like a sardine once everyone/everything is brought inside. They are really clean and nicely located. Everyone is really nice and helpful. The breakfast wasn't the greatest, but the Atrium next door is delicious and cheap! We will definitely stay again!

Pros: We were a young family with two small children and this was our first vacation. The room was clean and neat when we arrived. Staff was courteous and welcoming. Breakfast was a huge hit with our 3 year old:waffles, juice, eggs and sausage.

Pros: Great view of Mount Le Conte. Above, and away from all the activity in Gatlinburg. Very friendly, and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable rooms.The restaurant was very nice; good service, good food. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. And the cookies at the front desk!
Cons: We stayed for a week, most people/families don't, which means that there are a lot of rooms to turn over every day. House keeping has more than they can handle, and on two occasions our room was not cleaned until 5:00 P.M. Check in appears to take a while (that wasn't the case for us), not sure why.

Pros: The hotel was pretty clean. The location to downtown Gatlinburg was fantastic. The continental breakfast was more than the cereal and muffins that you get in other places. The staff was as helpful as they were allowed to be.
Cons: The bathroom was tiny and crowded as was the room. The walls were so thin that we could hear the phone conversation of the man in the next room as well as the female that was on the other end of the phone line. The "Mountain-side View" that we were supposed to have was the employee parking lot and a steep hill with a lot of trash and debris on it. The Kayak website leads you to believe that you can get a Smoking room, but you are not allowed to even smoke on the balconies of these rooms as it is a "No Smoking on the Grounds" property.

Pros: Breakfast was delicious with many options. Staff was great and had toothpaste (which I forgot). Fantastic location. Less than a five minute walk to the aquarium and the strip is one block over with easy access. The hotel is on a very quiet street and there is a really nice sitting area down by the river.
Cons: The only complaints I have are minor. The parking garage has some weird parts to it. It's clearly conformed to the mountain behind the hotel. Also the lamps between the beds didn't work, but the staff probably would have fixed it if I had let them know. Also there were plenty of other lights in the room.

Pros: Baymont Inn is a decent location just off the main drag which was nice as it was away from the majority of the noise and nightlife. The room was clean and had a fireplace and a patio. Everything in the room was spacious except for the bathroom. Breakfast was good and they kept it stocked throughout.
Cons: All rooms are accessed from the outside (no internal hallways). You don't have to go into the lobby to gain access to the stairs up to the room. The pool was warm however, it was over chlorinated like most hotel pools. Bathroom was very small and I could tell the place was slowly being updated. I think that the price for this hotel was a lot more than it should have been. This hotel would fit most people's needs its not the best nor the worst.

I think it took about 15-20 minutes to finally get to the desk and walk out with keys. We had the pleasure of leaving just before 10 and noticed the housekeeping didn't have any new linen on their carts. Maybe there is a separate one that comes through but we were under the assumption that the sheets aren't changed after each stay.

Cons: Was Christmas day when we checked in and being the holiday I can understand the strain of maintaining levels of service. were given a room on the 6th floor which ended up having not been cleaned. Walked in to someone else's mess, guess the room had been cleared off the computer so as to be let out again. So we hauled our gear back down to the lobby got another room that worked out fine for our 2 night stay. Couldn't find the TV remote there which was found later under/behind the bed headboard. Before finding called desk about it. Maint. man brought one in less than 4 minutes. Wow! Was nice/pleasant as he programed it to work. Overall visit was good with a few bumps. Enjoy.

Cons: They overbooked and sent us to WildBear Inn, a two star hotel at Pigeon Forge. Before that, they sent us to a better one, which is operated by the same company as WildBear Inn, and took us almost one hour to wait for check-in, but that hotel told us they sent us too the wrong one, since they also overbooked. We paid much more than the price for a two star hotel at that far, but finally we could only go there and just got two free pancakes for they mistake. Who need to pancakes!

I booked through kayak which sent us to getaroom.com, the staff at getaroom handled the situation well considering the mistake on someone's part. Either way it took an hour to check in. Then one of my kids got 23 dollars stolen out of his pants. When I reported it the lady (at the hotel) disregarded it saying the maid thought it was a tip....but it makes sense, every maid should take what they want from kids pockets. Really though for the money I just expected decent humans working for them and none were found. Find another hotel its Gatlinburg, there are plenty.

Pros: Brookside Resort has a good location but that is about the extent of what I consider a recommendation. The room was very dated....the sheets were dirty and the bathroom is dark. Requested clean sheets which were delivered promptly. The stream behind the hotel was awesome. This could be a really nice place but it will take a large sum of money for this to happen.

Pros: hat I liked about brookside was the location. It was right across the street from flapjacks and walking distance from the strip! Great location without being too congested. I liked the rolling creek right outside of back door it was very nice. I liked that they had free breakfast although it was very basic and minimal, the oatmeal was very dry. Staff was nice, not too friendly at times. I walked in to check out and the front desk guy just ignored me and sat on his phone until I was helped by someone else. They also charged my credit card twice but did refund it immediately.
Cons: I did not like that fact that on their website it has a lot of false advertisment. They said they had high speed Wi-fi, it was so slow and wouldn't load anything we had to disconnect and use data. They also said that they have a state of the arch fitness center.. Far from it. It literally had nothing and was very old and run down. The room needed renovations and mens toilet didn't work. The bench press didn't even have a bar!? Overall it was a quick stay so for 3 days what they offered was enough. Although I think next time we will find something nicer and cleaner and more up to date. Overall it was clean but very outdated. The room looked old and the furniture too. Found a few hairs on the sheets..The sheets would not stay on the bed either! I had to readjust them many times.There was a huge rip in the bed skirt. There were no blankets in the room just the sheets that came on the bed.. The shower head was so low that it would be great for someone who was 4 foot tall. We had to squat to shower and that's not fun for my 6' 2 boyfriend and me being 5'5. There was no DVD player so headed up if you brought DVD s. We had to go buy one to hook up. There as a mini refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker so that was nice.

We received an earlier morning wake up call both days that we DID NOT request. But the worst was the water temperature in the shower. It would get scalding hot with no notice. I let management know when we checked out but he didn't seem very concerned. Wouldn't stay there again.

Pros: The rooms were sizeable, the water was hot, the location is great whether you're checking out Gatlinburg's tourist district or catching the trolley to Dollywood. Although we didn't go for a swim, the indoor pool looks amazing and I'm sure it's fun regardless of the season. I did note plenty of young families enjoying it while we were there and the air doesn't overwhelm with chlorine.

After sitting in the lobby for more than half an hour whole the security guard stated at me and at his phone, a desk clerk finally arrived to check us in. Parking was limited, but they were accommodating by basically not enforcing any parking rules as long as we were not blocking someone in. They put us in a handicap room, which wasn't a problem in itself, but the bathroom door slides open and shut for ease of access and unfortunately it wasn't well oiled so we weren't able to ever fully open or close the door. I did report the problem, but don't know if it was ever fixed as we were only there 2 nights.

Cons: The second you walk in the room, we opted for the poolside option as we were planning to spend time in the pool with our two small children, all you could smell was chlorine, not to mention the room was about 87 degrees when we first walked in. While looking around our room, we found lots of great treasures, old Broken Oreos in the carpet (carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in about a month) , the bathroom was disgusting you had to hover above the toilet, the shower curtain had something streaked down it, looked like makeup maybe?? Who knows. There was brown matter streaked on the wall I could take a guess on what it was. It looked like feces. The tv kept cutting in and out with sound and picture so that was a no go when my 3 year old asked to watch cartoons before bed. We decided to check out the beds to see what they were like since the rest of the room was absolutely disgusting. On one of the blankets there was red lipstick. And on the sheets there were big black hair. In more spot than one. So I'm guessing the sheets hadn't even been changed? Needless to say we grabbed our bags and our two small children and got the heck out of there, we didn't even stay the night. Then the whole trip was spent attempting to get our refund back as we ended up having to spend money on a different hotel for our trip. And then they tried to tell us that we had to pay for the first night even though we didn't stay. We will not be back. Waste of money and time out of our trip.

When we walked in the lady at the counter was on her cell phone, on a personal call, she did not end the call to help us, instead she continued her conversation and helped us after she finished her call. In my opinion that was rude. Then while we were checking in someone called the front desk and requested help with their shower, she told a gentleman to go help them "because they couldn't figure out how to work the shower." Her attitude about that situation was wrong and she should not have spoken so rudely about someone who is paying money to stay at your hotel, especially in front of other guests (being myself).

Pros: So the hotel itself was basically on the main Gatlinburg strip so this made EVERYTHING super convenient. The workers were also very polite & made sure to give us all the information that we would have needed, plus without even asking told us about the free breakfast (Due to covid 19 they only had a few things, not there fault by any means) & give us a extra room card.

Cons: Our balcony did not face the river at all, it faced construction that kept us up all night. The shower curtain had mold on it and there was hair from previous guests still in the bath tub. There was a dried up paper towel stuck to our ceiling and in the peep hole on the door. The locks on the doors did not feel safe. The beds were so uncomfortable that our backs still hurt from sleeping on them. The breakfast in the morning did not make it with the stay at all. It seemed like a chore to walk from our room to the road every time we left the hotel. We only paid $36 a night to stay there, but I would never ever ever pay that much to stay there again!

Cons: There was no hot water. The desk clerk was very rude when I let him know about it. I had reserved a smoking room- which was not available when I checked in.

Pros: Clean rooms. Efficient check-in. Ample parking. Good location. Good staff.
Cons: Thin walls. Holes in wall where headboards were previously attached. Minor water damage on ceiling in bathroom.

Pros: The only room left on Kayak under $200/night. I now know why.
Cons: The room smelled, was tiny, had ants, shoddy repairs, mold on the bathroom ceiling, loose fixtures. I could keep going. We left a night early and ate the final night's cost.

Pros: When we complained about waking up in bugs and the water leak in the bathroom, the GM was kind and started a full refund process.

Pros: the location is great, too bad the property is in such badly needed repair.
Cons: Beds were horrible and uncomfortable. Old building and mold in the bathroom. I would not stay in this location again and will tell everyone Do Not Stay at this hotel, it is not a good reflection of your brand for Value and Quality. This property should have their franchise pulled until they can meet the higher standards of cleanliness and upgrade the facility. Paint alone does not account for upgrade
