Pros: Absolutely fantastic, the owners are amazing- we will certainly be back!thank you
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The sheets, pillowcases and bed linens smelled like an exclusive spa. Heavenly. Everything was so thoughtful and comforting after a long day of traveling. The room was perfectly quiet even though it was convenient to every city Emeritus. The grounds are glorious.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: this guesthouse is an oasis of tranquility
Cons: instructions on how the tv set operates ( a minor complaint).
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A wonderful luxurious property close to the airport (no noise!), away from the hustle of the city but easy to get to, wonderful hosts, an awesome experience
Cons: we liked everything!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very easy shuttle to and from airport. Rooms were quiet and pleasant, and the bed was over the top comfortable!
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Clean, neat, good staff, lovely food at the restaurant.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean rooms, great front desk staff! Great location for air travelers with many nice restaurants nearby.
Cons: Would have liked an Ice Machine somewhere in the facility, and in the room, a Microwave and Refrigerator. Also, more bed size options would have been nice.
Good 6.3
Pros: Room was clean Atmosphere in reception area welcoming
Cons: I was expecting the food at the restaurant to be good unfortunately I was very disappointed. Both myself and husband got different food and both of us felt the same. On sitting in lounge area I also overheard a few couples saying the same.
Good 6.0
Cons: Noise was an issue. The pipes were very loud and creaky - I thought there was someone doing construction outside, but then realIzed the noise was coming though the walls.
Mediocre 3.0
Cons: Shuttle service is only available on weekdays I was charged 20 pounds for a bowl of cornflakes. Extremely hot temperature in the building and still had the fireplace going help desk wasn''t friendly when asked about shuttle service

Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was a new or newly remodeled hotel. It was very nice and conveniently located. This hotel is only about 10 minutes from the airport and is located on one of the college campuses.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We were only staying for one night before a very early morning flight back home. It is very conveniently located as it is very close to the Airport (the taxi ride is about 15 GBP from hotel to Edinburgh Airport, not including tip). Modern and extremely clean. We had supper at the Hotel and the food was excellent.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Breakfast was nice, only scrambled egg no fried. Location could have been more divided as it was in the main corridor with customers coming and going.
Cons: The radio alarm clock in my room kept me awake both nights!!! I don't use an alarm clock radio as use my phone as i expect most people do, so I didn't touch the radio alarm. It went off at 01:30 and woke me, I cannot get back to sleep after being totally woken up. I couldn't see the very small buttons to stop it but eventually did, it then hummed for the rest of the night. In the morning I saw an on/off button so switched it off. The second night it sounded again at 01:30 am and again couldn't return to sleep. Two sleepless nights which ruined the purpose of my visit. I think room service should check these alarms or I would remove them as unnecessary The bar had little choices of beer 2xlager,1xcider and 1xcraft beer. No bitter or Guinness, we heard other customers asking for bitter or guiness also. Where's the good pint of Scottish 'heavy' bitter. We didn't like the menu and nothing appealed to us as it was too 'designer' basic menus always easier to make choices. Seating area was not comfortable as chairs all low backed. This area could have been a bit Scottish Themed as you could have been anywhere. Spent a lot of money here and unfortunately no good points to reflect price paid.
Good 6.3
Pros: We loved the location of the hotel , and the rooms & bathrooms & the actual build was fantastic / modern . Beds v comfy .
Cons: What we didn’t like was that we didn’t have sufficient towels on check in for our party of four . We didn’t each have bedside table or plugs to put devices on through the night , this seemed to be a super king room that had been changed around for 2 adults 2 kids . Cooked items at breakfast were a great disappointment as everything was stone cold despite Bain Marie’s , & just general lack in efficient service from breakfast staff , not even teaspoons out for jam / stirring hot drinks . So breakfast terrible experience .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were friendly, hotel was clean and comfortable, location was good for us, allowing us to travel where we wanted to visit
Cons: Nothing to not like
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff & Cleanliness
Cons: How much breakfast buffet cost
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The setting, the beds, the view, the huge bathroom and the breakfast. We loved it. Staff were great as well. Very peaceful.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Overnight stay while visiting Edinburgh with our girls. Beautiful hotel Rooms spacious and beautifully decorated. Bathroom amazing Staff friendly Located outside of Edinburgh centre but only a 15-20 min bus journey into town
Cons: Nothing at all to note
Good 6.0
Pros: New and clean. Not far from the airport
Cons: Understaffed. Wanted to grab something to eat when we checked in and were told it would be over an hour before the food would be ready. Kitchen was backed up
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was amazing. The staff always went overboard for anything we needed. They have a breakfast Buffett. You have a choice. 2 prices: one for continental, one for all the way.
Cons: There isn't anything that we did not like.
Good 7.0
Pros: Proximity to public transportation is excellent. Front desk staff is excellent .
Cons: Restaurant wait staff , very unpleasant and seem annoyed with waiting on guests. The meal we received was not what we ordered, waiter delivered meal and quickly disappeared not to be seen again until he delivered the check.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was close to the airport, about a 12 minute ride by car. It is not in a congested part of the city, so it was easy to drive or ride in or out of the area. The staff was friendly, helpful, and gracious. Rooms were clean, comfortable, great!

Good 7.5
Pros: Good room and event venue
Cons: Dinner was very ordinary
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Breakfast meals very good and plenty of options.
Cons: Room door rattling and noisy from hallways
Good 7.1
Pros: The breakfast was better than the average hotel breakfast - plenty of choice. I'm also a big fan of haggis on a breakfast menu!
Cons: Access is a bit of a problem because of the dual carriageway system - a bit frustrating when heading either into Edinburgh or even just to the airport. There's probably not much you can do about that.
Good 7.5
Pros: The rooms were of an excellent standard as was the facilities in the spa.
Cons: We had arranged through booking . Com for a bouquet of flowers for arrival and thought that this was confirmed by booking . Com via email We then received an email the following day which as we were working didn’t open until late advising that this would have to be paid that day by 3pm. So that was disappointing and unsure what hotel of this standard could not arrange this simple ask and just add to our bill ??? We were then told that we would get an anniversary plate in our room which we then looked forward to seeing- surely some nice goodies for us to make up for the disappointing fact that they were unable to arrange flowers. What we received was a simple white plate with happy anniversary written in chocolate with 3 small pieces of chocolate brownie?? Soooooo disappointing to say the least.

Pros: Loved everything about staying here....
Cons: would like to have seen the Bistro open for breakfast with a smaller menu to chose from....
Excellent 9.0

Cons: Expensive transportation to and from was daunting. Hotel offered no services or shuttle.
Excellent 8.8

Excellent 8.3
Pros: Breakfast was beautiful
Cons: Everything was good
Okay 5.8
Pros: Really nice setting. Good facilities, gym pool etc most of the staff around the hotel were friendly.
Cons: One of receptionist’s was quite miserable when we asked for a different room! We paid for a room with a view and got a view of the side of a building and car park! Free shuttle bus into town doesn’t run from the hotel??
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It was very clean and spacious.
Cons: The staff were not the friendliest
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The spa staff and experience were fabulous
Okay 4.6
Pros: Lovely location. Kids playground was good. Kids eat free is a great idea.
Cons: Very hard to navigate round the bedroom accommodation. Rooms are supposed to be upgraded, but still a bit dated. Brasserie food was overpriced for what you got. Swimming pool tiles need upgraded.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Superb all round hotel! And so beautiful! Also very kids friendly.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast room very pleasant, light and comfortable, friendly staff, and great range of food - loved being able to order omelette to own spec. Swimming pool and sauna nice too, and not crowded, and open till 11 pm.
Cons: Reception staff on arrival seemed confused, but think this was just one person. Went back in morning and easily sorted with someone more with it. Brasserie not very welcoming when arrived on Friday evening after long journey, didn't seem keen on having more customers although space! Would be good to warn guests of need to book tables as not near anywhere else to eat.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Beautiful location. Health and country club. Plenty of activities. Historic setting.
Cons: No A/C in the guest rooms. Was very warm and uncomfortable.
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our room was nicely furnished, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location was very good as we needed to get to the airport the following morning.
Cons: Parking was very limited but fortunately we were able to park there.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Have stayed at The White Lady several times - the location is good, on bus routes into the city, and the facilities around the area are good - eating choices plentiful, Sainsbury's just across the road. Usual Wetherspoon's fayre on offer, but you can't fault that on price. And then all you have to do it walk up the stairs to your room!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Clean comfortable beds, good shower, good meals for the price, friendly staff. Close to the bus stop.
Cons: Dim lighting in the room and a bit cold until the heater kicked in. 2 pillows would have been nice.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Lovely room with nice touches of complimentary biscuits, bottled water and hot chocolate mix beside the usual tea and coffee. Made my stay feel more luxurious. Thank you
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.3
Pros: GOOD BREAKFAST CONVIENENT FOR AIRPORT/CITY CENTRE

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing food in the restaurant and friendly staff. Our daughters loved watching the planes from our room, what a view!
Cons: Nothing, all fabulous
Good 7.1
Pros: Great location to the airport. Spacious and clean room. Good breakfast. Good shuttlebus service.
Cons: Reception girl was not very good in her explanatory introduction which led to both parties feeling a little frustrated...
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very clean room and lovely breaky.
Good 7.1
Pros: Closeness to airport and parking
Cons: Food very expensive
Good 7.9
Pros: Loved how we got 3 double beds!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: location to the airport
Good 7.1
Pros: I needed a hotel close to the Royal Highland Centre and this was the nearest one. I had a disabled room on ground floor which was spacious. Grab rail next to toilet and two sinks at different heights. Shower seat in walk in shower. Food service at bar was quick. I attach 2 photos from their menu.
Cons: No hash browns at breakfast. I'm vegan and I don't eat egg. So I had beans on toast for breakfast.
Good 7.9
Pros: We went to comic con and this was very close for us. The breakfast was lovely and rooms were very clean. The tv was great and hairdryer was handy
Cons: The room was very cold and only had electric heaters. Central heating would been great
Good 7.1
Pros: This is an "in-and out" hotel by the airport, not a place to go for holidays. It is very near the airport but not at all walking distance to the terminal, especially if you're dragging bags. Many thanks to staff who responded promptly to my email questions.
Cons: Typical poorly lit hotel room and small. Not HOT breakfast until 0630 (cold breakfast at 0430(?)). It is a hotel for transients and travelers and should serve hot breakfast sooner in the morning. There is a frequent shuttle but you get gouged at L2.50 per person.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good place to stay close to the airport. Very clean, 24 hour airport shuttle and breakfast starts at 4 AM.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The breakfast was terrific. Our "fussy" kids scoffed the lot without the usual aggravation. We were well fed by helpful staff..
Cons: Everything was as I had expected for the one night stay between journeys. We were most satisfied.
Okay 5.7
Cons: See above. Did not have converter from USA to UL

Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very good hotel, excellent staff and very good breakfast
Cons: I found it expensive for the room and breakfast
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Proximity to airport, very nice on site restaurant, free shuttle to EDI The hotel was clean and quiet and very comfortable. I would stay there again.
Cons: No
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Bed was super comfy and exactly what we needed after a long day of travelling. We arrived at the hotel around 2/2.30 and we were seen quickly and able to get our room sorted easily. Close to airport which was exactly what we needed in the early hours!
Cons: Nothing. We were very impressed with the hotel.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The cookie on arrival was lovely! Getting to the hotel was easy it was well signposted. We were travelling to attend the Comic Con at the Royal Highland Centre and the hotel was right on it's doorstep which was super handy as we were new to the area. The room was a nice size, bathroom was a good size and was fairly clean. The room was a nice temperature and the facilities e.g tv, wifi etc. all worked fine. The bed was comfy and the food we had was brilliant! There was plenty places to keep clothes if we had been staying a few nights and the room itself was in a peaceful part of the hotel we didn't have any bother with hearing other guests coming and going through the night.
Cons: The telephone didn't work properly which made ordering our food quite difficult, had to phone three times. The room hadn't been adequately dusted in places there were lots of old cobwebs and the heater was dusty. Couldn't see a way to order different things on cooked breakfasts so ended up just ordering continental. We ordered a continental breakfast for a certain time the next day and were forgotten about but in fairness to staff this was resolved quite quickly after we alerted them to the matter.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Convenience. No wait for bus to the airport Comfortable room. Nice supper and good servicr

Excellent 9.2
Pros: Good sized and very clean, comfy beds. Everything you could need is in the room. It’s opposite the hire car return so a short walk with suitcases. Free shuttle to the airport terminal runs every 15 minutes

Excellent 9.6

Excellent 8.0

Cons: Not much bathroom privacy and no refrigerator in the room to keep my medication in.
Good 7.9

Mediocre 3.1
Pros: Reception not helpfull .mean scare to ask them something
Cons: Clean
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Good location for those who want to spend the night near the Edinburgh Airport. Frinedly staff. Clean.
Cons: Tiny spaces in the room. The sink is next to the bed.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The shower was great. Good amount of space and strong water spray. Hotel was quiet and the room was dark when the light were off.
Cons: The bed had a dip in it. Also, whoever made the bed did a bad job of it. I was told I would have to wait 2 hours to get any food when I arrived due to a coach arriving before me, which I understand, but the attitude it was said with left a lot to be desired. The key did not work when I got to the room, and after I got that fixed, I had to figure out the lights myself as no one told me I had to put the key in the slot to get them on. Breakfast was a scrum with a very limited choice. Personally I think the toaster should be last as you end up with cold toast by the time you boil and egg or wait for the people in front of you to move. You have a sign in the room about changing the towels. I deliberately left my towels hanging up so they wouldn't need to be changed, but they were. If you aren't going to follow your own ways of helping the environment, why bother letting guests know about it. Just change the towels and stop wasting the signs. Made no sense. Finding the hotel was very difficult. No proper signage on the road to point the way. It took me about 30inutes to figure out how to get to the hotel. I might have been able to get dinner and beat the coach if the signs were there.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: For the price it was great. Clean, comfortable and a great point for getting into Edinburgh by train ( South Gyle station). Friendly man on reception. Decent shopping centre over the road. Car parking arrangements good.
Cons: On arrival there seemed no sense of queuing / order. Two people actually nipped in before us due to the disorganisation (which was a bit irksome). I appreciate this is very much a First World grumble and now feel guilty but I will leave it in.
