Excellent 10.0
Pros: What a lovely place! So cleverly designed with everything you could need for an overnight stay. We will definitely stay again.
Cons: Really nothing missing or needed. Can think of only one thing.....we arrived without something to feed our bedtime reading habit, so a magazine or daily paper in the room would have been great.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The host was very friendly and greeted us on arrival by name. He showed us all the features of the accommodation. The accommodation itself was 5 minutes walk into the main street of Ayr, and was extremely quiet with the only noise coming from the seagulls in the morning. Breakfast was good with being given the option of a home cooked breakfast, cereals and juices. The owners also checked in the morning to see if there any problems and did we require anything. Overall excellent accommodation and highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing to complain about at all.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very modern, quiet, close to shops, pubs, shopping, beach and trains, very nice rooms, fantastic service, friendly staff, beautiful place!!! Will most certainly recommend to anyone to stay there!
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nice and cozy lovely breakfast and location.
Cons: A softer bed
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything location, tranquil cleanliness friendly atmosphere close to all amenities that the town has to offer
Cons: There was nothing not to like about the accommodation or the hosts EXCELLENT
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful cozy comfy room. Lovely owners nothing was a problem for them . Less than 5 min walk from high street shop and 10 to the beach.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Quality bed. Great breakfast. Off road parking.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast was far beyond expectation, rather like the full English that I cook at home but then fresh fruit salad and cereal as well, Bottomless pot of coffee and tea too, We knew nothing of Ayr and wished we had time to explore the coast as it was only a short distance away (2 miles). The local surroundings are very old and in need of a paint job but go inside and find the friendliest of people - don't judge the book by its cover!
Cons: Expect rain, you're in Scotland. However, on the day that counted, the wedding day, we had dry weather and England was battered all day - how canny was that!

Pros: Good location, value for money. Very helpful landlady.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Host jackie was very friendly room was comfortable and breakfast was great overall enjoyable stay thank you
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location is ideal for anyone arriving in Ayr by train as Turas-Mara guesthouse is only 5 minutes away, also it is so close to everything. There is a Morrisons Supermarket directly across the road with it's own pharmacy, (if required), to pick up any items you may require, 5-6 minutes from a large town center, a 15 minute steady walk to a lovely beach and a 15 - 20 minute walk to Ayr racecourse. As for places to eat or go for a drink there were a lot of variety within a short distance. The room I stayed in had a double bed and a single bed, the decor was light and relaxing, and the breakfast was fantastic. The people who run the guesthouse could not do enough for the guests.
Cons: There was nothing to complain about, just wished I could have stayed longer.
Excellent 10.0

Cons: Stayed in the family room on the top floor, Room looked nice and have normal facilities for B&B, great views in the morning. Both beds were uncomfortable with no support. Excellent 10.0
Pros: If I could give more than 10, I would. Fantastic value at just over £40, the accommodation is presented to a high standard throughout. My room was spacious, well equipped with a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, USB charging points and the decor of the room and ensuite was of a high standard. The hosts, Linda and Richard, were very welcoming and presented a fantastic full Scottish breakfast (inc. haggis) that was both plentiful and beautifully cooked. Thank you for a wonderful, albeit it short, stay.
Cons: Having to leave!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Breakfast was excellent Hosts were friendly and helpful
Cons: No ensuite
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room was very clean and comfortable.......probably one of the best I’ve stayed in. Loved that there were plenty tea and coffee available in the room. Also really loved the fact you filled in a form for what you want for breakfast and what time you’d like it. Owners were very accomodating and made sure we were well fed and watered and made out ferry check in time. Would definately stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Ayr. Perfectly located on a quiet street
Cons: Nothing at all

Good 7.1
Pros: The location is very good right next to sea front and few minutes from town centre. The building is older style and the furnishings are suited to the property. The beds are very comfortable and it was very quiet so we all had a good nights sleep. You need to get there early for parking outside property or you have to park further down the road. It was fine for one night and the breakfast was very nice.
Cons: the décor is a bit dated and there was a bit of dust in the room too. We also found a toe nail in the bed but the sheets were clean. The bathroom was next to the room so you had to come out the room to go to bathroom but it was not shared.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were well catered.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Accommodation was close walk to seaside and shops. Friendly host and good breakfast.
Cons: Nil
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely gluten free breakfast and veggie breakfast. We will stay again.
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.9
Pros: The location was ideal. And the bed and pillows were really comfortable.
Cons: Room 2, It wasn't a sea view as advertised. The shelf in bathroom needs fixing as does the toilet roll holder, both loose. No explanation that you needed a permit for parking or that the keys given out were for front door as well as your room, had to ask where the room was. It's 2x single beds pushed together not a large double as advertised so you could feel the join. 1x bathrobe instead of 2. The free toiletries needed replenished. All small things really but attention to detail does make a difference. Certainly not 4 star.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Cosy guest house , comfortable rooms and breakfast was good. Would recommend.
Cons: We loved it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very cozy and clean, the location near the beach as well as the restaurants and shops.
Cons: Good selection of breakfast, but my order was salty thats it.
