Pros: "The China Southern People in Penang, including the MAB staff that assist, are outstanding. The flight attendants are also wonderful. I am also pleased with the timing of the added flights to and from Penang. The timing is wonderful for my flights to the US. They have become seamless."

Pros: "Food was better than expected. Beverages available onboard were great. In flight entertainment was awesome. Chill music for when I'm reading my books and working and really recent movies I finally have the time to watch."
Cons: "snacks and water were haphazardly just lying around at the back when I walked around to make sure my legs didn't die from the 16 hour flight. Even though it should be a much less busy time to be assisted, air hostesses would just point you to the drinks when you ask for water or whatever, which explained why the back was so messy because essentially it turned into a self service snack bar. I observed this for both of my 16 hour flights."

Cons: "I will never fly China Eastern again. EVER !! I need to add an extra day or two onto our flight. We purchased business class flights so they are not cheap. In order for us to make a change they want $1700 each person, a total of $3400 to take the same flight two days later. The fee is the highest I have ever hear for the same flight class .. I will never ever use China Eastern again, they are taking advantage..I could actually buy a return ticket on another airline for cheaper than they want for a flight change."
Pros: "My screen on the first leg didn’t work too well. It would turn on and off on its own, but since it was an overnight flight and I was tired, I slept most of the way so didn’t complain. Just had to dim the screen for the times it would turn on automatically while I was trying to sleep. 2nd leg had"

Cons: "CE is budget carrier so you are often not walking into or out of terminal in China . You are on minibus commuting to/from plane. Once you land it may still be a 30-40 min commute to parking spot and minibus to terminal."

Shocking to learn that A black guy found "dead" in the middle of the flight, probably due to heart attack China Eastern web site is horrible as it only allows passengers who bought their tickets DIRECTLY from their web site to access booking managing like seat choice and printing boarding pass. If you bought tickets from travel agents like Justfly.com, forget to use China Eastern web site to manage your booking, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE"
