. It was so unorganized! They kept all the passagers waiting while they do there meeting, they said they would open checked in by around 4pm but instead they took another 20mins to check people in, on top of the that they kept as changing lines like 5times! The check in in new york was very horrible! The people at the check in counter acted like they were immagration! Asking for our birthcertiface and old passport, it was the first time i ever encountered checkin who acted like immigration officers! They made it so painful! We were already waiting for almost 5hours! Horrible service! I would never fly Singapore airline again after this experience! Won’t recommend it to anybody!

Departure was on time and arrived early. Second meal in business class could have been later; did not need to be woken up just yet and would have preferred more of a breakfast closer to arrival.

Excellent service. Clean aircraft. Took off and landed on time. Did not feel it was an 18 hour flight. Will definitely fly Singapore Airlines again.

The staff were very friendly. Love the legroom space even in economy. Staff were friendly and onboard entertainment has a lot of good choices!

Business class. Staff service was PHENOMENAL. Seats/beds were spacious and comfortable (I had the seat in the middle section which can become a queensize bed with the next seat. I have had more satisfying food in economy, however traveling with an infant, the spacious seat/bed allowed him to sleep for a few hours. The staff were very good to accomdating him too.

Airplane flight is good,nice and clean

Delayed flights!!!!! Had to rent a car from JFK and drive home to Syracuse $225! Have to be to work at 5am Monday NOT HAPPY

My seat wasn’t comfortable enough even though I paid for it. Seafood menu wasn’t good. I was left hungry throughout my flight because I cannot eat a lot of stuff :( overall it was a pleasant flight. Passengers are pretty well behaved and less noisy compared to Cathay Pacific. There are no toilet seat papers.

Cons: "After rushing to catch my connecting Singapore flight, their desks were closed and there wasn’t an employee in site. Given that airlines can see connecting fights it would have been great to have someone stay back to either give me a boarding pass or help me rebook! UNSATISFACTORY!"

Pros: "What can I say about a flight of this length? Its always an epic journey to go from the US to Asia. However I will say that with Singapore Airlines things are a lot easier. Excellent crew who were always willing to help with my fondness for a beer. Food was as expected and up to the standard of Singapore Airlines. All round it was a long trip made a lot easier......5 stars."

Pros: "Amazing, amazing service! Great food (including Hagen Daaz ice cream) and good choice of beverages. Lots of different entertainment choices. VERY clean and well maintained aircraft. Staff is always friendly and happy...they really seem to absolutely love their job! Free toiletries in the bathrooms are an extra plus. Whenever there was a change in schedule / plans the captain informed the passengers immediately about what was going on and what would happen next."
Cons: "The only thing that did and probably always will be AWFUL is going thru security at JFK. The T S A officials there are unfriendly, sometimes rude, never smiling and often yelling at you or even little kids or elderly people. We are travelling a lot and no other security staff at any given airport is so unfriendly and harsh. Worst thing about going on a journey."

Pros: "The A380 is an amazing plane. The flight was smooth and the engine sounds were fairly low."
Cons: "Waiting on line to check in was more than a half hour although there were probably only 10 people ahead of me. Got a hard time on the weight of my carry-on being more than 7kg although I had to point out that my ticket allowed me two bags that were 23kg each - I had nothing to check. Eventually, when I pointed out that I could wear enough of the clothes from the carry on, they agreed to let me take it on. On board, the service was cold, bland and infrequent. The entertainment system lost sound perhaps 20 minutes into the flight."
Pros: "The crew of ladies and men where so very gracious and courtly, both to the passengers and each other. My wife and I both took note that the flight attendants were "First Class" with emphasis on class. Exceptionally well groomed, but also conveyed genuine concern and helpfulness and at the same time, real workers, energetic and perky. We are bragging to all our friends about the uplifting cultural demeanor of Singapore Airlines. They should all get a pay raise. I will always remember their wonderful service when thinking about our trip to Frankfurt, Germany. Robert"

Pros: "From the beginning until the end the service, the vibe, the flight itself was amazing. I don't know any other airline I flew with so far that hosted me and all other flyers better. At any time I was supported by the staff and even if it was busy they constantly had a kindness and smile in their face. I don't fly with any other airline on long distance flights! It was clean and neat on top at any time. I love flying with Singapore airlines. I feel safe and in good hands all around. This is how service should be at any airline! It is never less good but a constant since years! Thank you"

Cons: "It was an 8 our overnight flight to another time zone where we had a full day ahead of us so we needed all the sleep we could get but instead we were fed around midnight. Lights went out for about two hours, it seemed, before we were told to put our chairs upright for the person behind us so they could serve another meal. We arrived about 10am completely shattered."
Pros: "On my flight back I got to sit in premier economy and that was amazing !! I want to fly like that all the time! The leg room and space was perfect. The comfort of the chairs recline and foot rest that raised up was great. The big tray table that tucked away was nice. And side pockets for your stuff was great. The comfort of the bigger seats was just excellent and they looked newer. On my flight back from Frankfurt to NYC that was the best flight I ever have taken."

Pros: "Had to get new boarding passes at JFK eventhough issued passes at Rochester without gate numbers but was then able to check that my bags were transferred to SIA."
Cons: "I could not select a seat on JetBlue. Indian vegetarian food was mainly rice and potaoes and bread, not much protein like paneer or egg for the non-vegans like me."

They canceled the flight on Nov 2 and changed it to Nov 1st but did not change connecting flight date. It took me 21/2 hours each day for 3 days to talk to Air NZ to fix my schedule. The aircraft is old and looks like the one Cathay Pacific used in the late 1990s. Their vegetarian meal is so bad that you skip the meals. In short this airline is going downhill so fast and I will not use them again.

My fight was experience was horrible and will this week write to the CEO / CFO about whole encounter .....never do I want to fly air New Zealand again .

Efficient courtesy as it was and should be On time

I really appreciated the check in service at Heathrow airport - amazing they checked our luggage and gave our passes through to Chch NZ. Chairs were comfortable. Good leg room. While we appreciate the lounge, they could have offered a wider range of options (a few more vegan options).

Pros: "This flight was on the 777-300 plane leased from EVA. Boarding proved to be a bit of a slow grind due to the inordinate number of families with children on this particular flight. Our fault for not realising this at time of booking. Flight itself went very smoothly. Seats were fine. Not a huge selection of movies to choose from. Felt the crew went about their duties without fuss and ticked all the boxes for me."
Cons: "Please check your visa requirements is your flight is just a stopover in NZ to AUS (or elsewhere) as I could not return due to unfair transit visa issues in NZ. Have to book another one way flight and pay. completely nuts. I was not warned anywhere till I reached the airport."

Pros: "We flew Air Canada’s Economy Plus from Vancouver to Sydney and Air New Zealand’s Economy Plus from Auckland back to Vancouver. NZ’s Economy Plus product is far and above AC’s. Everything from the welcome, to the meal, to the level of service is great. I really felt that NZ treated the Econ Plus cabin as distinct from Economy (including having 2 dedicated washrooms), whereas on AC it felt like we were merely Economy with better seats. I compare NZ and AC because we were so genuinely impressed with what we purchased. We would definitely book NZ Econ Plus again, and the January seat sale is a great time to do so!"

Pros: "My husbands booking was not processed correctly from the site we booked through, and we didn't notice the mistake until we were checking in. We were at the airport at least 2 1/2 hours before boarding time. The mistake could have been rectified, we were told it would need an email from Virgin to confirm and change the booking. We photographed and sent through passport details. We phoned the booing site, we phoned Virgin, we were put on hold for 25 mins while the booking site phoned Virgin - but Virgin refused to help us out! My husband was not able to board the flight - no refund, no help - and the sad part was, it wasn't for a holiday - it was to visit and help his 87yr old father-in-law who had fallen and cracked his spine. No sympathy from Virgin, VERY DISAPPOINTED!"

Shortly after we finally boarded I got a text saying our connecting flight from Christchurch to Dunedin was cancelled. So, we were flown to Christchurch & given hotel accommodations for the night, only to be flown BACK the next day to Wellington to catch a flight to Dunedin. All in all quite infuriating."

Cons: "Directing people from the terminal to the plane. Need a better strategy due to the fact that the steps are so steep, directing to the rear door instead of the front. When it comes to boarding time, we were all directing out but not indicating which door is closer to our seat. An agent needs to coach passengers outside or even when announcing boarding time -- indicate what seats should go towards the back versus the front door."

Cons: "I suppose it is good marketing to make you walk past the amazing seats in business/premier class on your way past "Premium Economy" back to economy class on the Boeing 777 -- but it did make me wish I had a few thousand dollars to throw away on 13 hours of being pampered. Economy seats are pretty narrow. I am of average size and I was often bumping and being bumped by the passenger in the adjacent seat as well as by people walking up and down the aisle."
