In general it would be nice if passengers could pre-order from a set selection of foods online what they would like on their tray. This would hopefully lower the amount of food that sadly goes to waste. Also it would be nice to have gluten free snacks on board. Flying with celiac disease is not easy."

Cons: ""Customs" at JFK came to an entire halt. All passengers where stuck in the welcome hall for 1h, without any information, why held there and why nothing was moving forward. All CBP booths were closed, but 8 (eight!) employees, who normally direct arriving passengers to the kiosk-machines where hanging out in two groups sharing private stories and having laughs instead of at least informing passengers, what was going on. Lots of passengers where outraged...a couple in their mid 70s in front of us had to sit down on the floor, since they had circulation problems from standing in line so long. Sadly, JFK isn't what it used to be anymore."

In Hong kong, I was told the designated smoking area in the terminal was close and the steward encouraged me to go...I almost missed the flight even though I didn't even make it to where she directed me. It was not close, she was a liar. They lost my bags. They kept calling me sir despite my corrections and obvious female anatomy. They had no remorse or apologies for their errors"

Cons: "I asked to be placed in a seat as close to the front as possible as I suffer from motion sickness in the back of the plane. I was placed in the back row all the way to my destination and all the way home. I vomited 8 times and felt very sick. I did notice that there were many seats available in the front of the plane but they are never given out as women with babies and children always get them and then single travellers like myself are made sit in the back. I travel a lot, I usually fly Qantas and they are very good at providing seats closer to the front. I will be reluctant to fly Singapore Airlines again due to the fact that they were not accommodating at all."

The comfort of the chairs recline and foot rest that raised up was great. The big tray table that tucked away was nice. And side pockets for your stuff was great. The comfort of the bigger seats was just excellent and they looked newer. On my flight back from Frankfurt to NYC that was the best flight I ever have taken."

Cons: "This trip was not quite as excellent as my flights on Singapore Airlines usually are; however, I cannot say for sure there was much that airline staff could have done to change this. A great deal of turbulence earlier in the flight made it difficult to enjoy the food. Also, there was a sewage-like smell that wafted through the air periodically - this could have been a child in the surrounding seats, though. Both of these issues seem difficult for the airline staff to address, however, unless the smell actually came from a problem with the ventilation system. The staff was exceptionally helpful and good-natured, though, which made the biggest difference. Thank you so much."

When we arrived at Dubai I was told my name was not on the list for assistance even though I had been taken to the flight in a wheelchair and informed check-in and flight crew. The Emerates assistance people made it seem as if they were doing us a favour by assisting us,made us stand around waiting for a buggy then for the train at no time did they show any respect or compassion for the people they were supposed to be assisting."

Flying at night across the Tasman Sea it was as though we were stationary (apart from a little vibration as we crossed the Southern Alps). Besides, the Air Bus is so quiet (comparatively). Oh yes. Pros: "The Qantas lounge in Singapore is very nice. Nothing special relative to some others like Cathay, but lots of showers and good food are the key for a stopover, and the Qantas Lounge has that. The meal options are better out of Singapore than coming in to Singapore, The "order ahead" breakfast concept, where you place your order for breakfast when you board has it pros and cons. The personal service is nice, but one needs to know almost 12 hours ahead of time what they feel like eating. Overall a positive, but for me, it's hard for me to anticipate my appetite. It was my first A380 flight (together with the Sydney - Singapore leg), and overall I was disappointed relative to the Dreamliner. Yet it stands out as a positive the way that Qantas has configured business class on the upper deck. It's quite peaceful."

The crew was not very friendly during the flight (I understand maybe they had a cranky passenger before and it was a long flight but smiling isnt that hard!). Inflight service was inconsistent as one side came down to serve 15minutes after the first side. The headphones looked quite dirty so I used my own. Boarding was quite slow and then takeoff was late but it was nice that the captain explained it."

Pros: "The crew was pleasantly pleasent when passengers make mistakes but firm as need, thus getting what needed done as pleasantly as possible."
Cons: "Entertainment system was stuck and stay stuck on kids program and system had no way to get back to main entry point. Software programmers had either failed to put in a "home" icon / link on the Kids home page. Also, turning system off, and leaving it off for 3+ minutes did not do so either; this likely a failure of software designers to specific such or system itself not functioning per design."

Pros: "Loved the crew, very friendly and helpful. Liked having my own tv screen on the back of the seat. Food was great."
Cons: "Wish there was more leg room and ability to lie down. It was a 12-13 hour flight."

Cons: "I had a flight Auckland-London, booked through Emirates but operated by Qantas. The flight got to London with a delay of 2 hours 20 min, because they made us wait 2 hours 20 min more than planned in Dubai, where incidentally all the other Emirates flights had no delay, only our Qantas one. This made me lose my next flight (to Luxembourg) and have to pay for a new flight and stay that night in London. Since I had booked them separately, no one helped or offered any compensation."

Pros: "The crew was very friendly and helpful and we were provided with breakfast even on this shorter flight."
Cons: "They didn't have as big of a selection of movies on their smaller plane."

Pros: "Staff were super accommodating and friendly. Best pillow I've had on a flight. Blankets were nice as well."
Cons: "Seats didn't accommodate my broad shoulders well. Seats seemed tighter than ones I've flow long distance on before ie. Iceland Air, New Zealand Air, and Emirates. Head phone jack is inside the seat arm rest which made it awkward when adjusting. No standard head phone jack but a converter is provided."

Pros: "Friendly crew members. Departure time & arrival times were very accurate. Luggage was handled properly."

Cons: "Didn't bother to offer acting other than fruit juice, water and tea or coffee with the meal seemed in a hurry to get the meal service over"

Pros: "First time I flew Qantas and it was a flight from Melb- Dubai and then Dubai - London. I sat in row 62 and the food three times the food selection had run out the fruits and beef curry. I wasn't able to check in online which was quite annoying. The crew from Melb-Dubai were fantastic. So friendly and talkative and I think one was called Jordan."

Cons: "All round excellent"

Pros: "Prompt and efficient with helpful informative checkin (warned that luggage would probably need to be cleared and rechecked in Sydney). Reasonable choice of snacks (inc. crisps that were I think GF - same as in lounge)."
Cons: "BA (FF) lounge facilities at Tegel are pretty limited, but some reasonable snack choices (crisps, fruit, biscuits, ...)"

Pros: "The overall fought was great. The crew was amazing, especially since they had been up since at least midnight to get everything ready for us. They were cheerful and extremely kind."
Cons: "The only reason the food is not ranked lower is the great wrap we had when we boarded. But, the breakfast was just awful. To be fair, I have never had breakfast on a plane that I have enjoyed. But, word to the wise, skip the eggs and always go for the fruit!"
