The food, if such a term may be applied here, was inedible. Just vile. In flight entertainment was a complete joke. Boarding was awful, but it always is. Seats were extremely uncomfortable. This racket is the ultimate way to rip somebody off of $1000. Horrible."

Cons: "JustFly billed the wrong price, then to fix that,created a new ticket with my name misspelled and failed to cancel the original ticket. We later upgrade seats via Singapore then discovered the duplicate booking and misspelling. To fix that JustFly cancelled the booking with the seat upgrade. Singapore restored our upgrade at the airport but only on one direction so we had to go through it all again."

I am usually very quite and light on demands as i hardly hit call button on the seat to get any assistance, but during meal, I was asked about drink and I opted for Ginger ale. Crew said, she will get back to me and I did not hear from her for another 10 mins, then there was repeat serve of drinks and I was asked if i needed any thing and asked the same drink, but then I was asked to wait. After I had finished off my meal and ready to go to sleep, someone was bringing my drink out and I then respectfully say no to it as it was bit late after the meal and asked for water instead and did not like the look on the face of the crew member. I saw it happening with other passengers as well and was under the impression, the whole crew performance was pretty poor and SIA was not up to its high-standards as I always like to fly with them. I will look for different option next time"

Cons: "The seats can be laid bag pretty far and the people in front of me decided to recline for a majority of the 10 hour flight. I wish the chairs either didn't do this or the flight attendants would have said something. I didn't feel like I had the authority to do anything about it. Also it was so warm! I have no idea if there was a fan."

Pressing my 'attendant button' my light was lit for 10 minutes before a crew member noticed. My first trip on Singapore, my expectations were not met. Shame"

Pros: "What did I like??? Um, EVERYTHING! First off I got a great price under $850 round trip to NRT from LAX was a steal! They let you check two large suit cases plus a carry on and a personal item. That all FREE!!! I travel pretty light but it was great to know they don't Nickle and dime you for bags or anything else for that matter. Staff looks amazing and treats you first class even when your in economy. They are so polite and really genuinely want to give you a above and beyond experience. And they over achieve at it! They meals are great and very satisfying. The planes are big and roomy even in economy seats. On our return flight we had a brand new plane which had a sleek touch screen monitor and controller. There mad tons of media available (articles, language games, games, movies, tv shows and more) with USB ports to charge devices on each seat. Plus 10inch personal monitors. Earbuds were included free of charge, aswell as socks toothbrush and tooth paste. They have is two big meals on our direct flight (awesome that they have direct flights). Plus, they offered free snacks too and gave us a full can of soda vs. a small cup. They come through several times offering coffee, tea, water and snacks. All free of charge. This was my first time flying Singapore Airlines and I loved it!!! I wish Everyone was this amazing! Norwegian Airlines was the opposite as far as charging for everything! Had to pay each stop for any luggage ($100 per checked bag). No meals free or charge. They wanted money for everything! And yea a skimpy sandwich was $9.00 :(."

Cons: "SQ800/805 are operated with "old" 777-200. The cabin is definitely not up to the Singapore Airlines standard. The IFE in particular is showing a very poor screen. And the food was, as frequently on SQ, below average."

When I arrived in Shanghai, I was held at the Customs for extra 20 or 30 minutes because the airline provided a passport number I used more than 10 years ago. My luggage was held at Pudong airport quite a few days. Each day, they said something different to me... When it's the time for me to go back, I was held again at PEK, because of the different passport number they kept in their system. Even though I explained to them how I purchased the ticket with my current passport number and I have no idea where the problem happened. They insisted that it was my own fault. My gmail did not work properly in China. I asked them for help by providing me the ticket agent contact info in the States. They said that they did not know. I should go where I bought my ticket. I had to spend hours to contact friends in the States to find the phone number of justfly.com. Then, I made international call to justfly for about hour to have the problem fixed. I did not provide any wrong info when purchasing the ticket. The problem was made between the airline and their agent. They, as professionals, could easily have the problem solved but they blamed the customer for the mistake. I had to spend so much extra time and money to cover their mistake, at the risk of missing my flight. That's the worst experience I ever had for international flight."
Cons: "They would not accomidate a flight change after I was delayed in an accident getting to the airport. One desk said there was a seat on the earlier flight and sent me out of the gate area to the front of the airport. When I got there a few minutes later they said no there is no seat. I was upset because I had to wait 6 hours now and go back through security again. I asked to speak to a supervisor. They pertended not to understand. I was persistant and then they siad oh here is a seat on the 1:00 flight. Then he goes do you want window or aisle. If there was no seats whey do I have a choice?"

They did offer beer which was 60% foam and warm/flat. We were borded and then told of 30 minute delay after we were told to shut our phone off.. only to realize we were getting emails about the delay sent to us while we were sitting there with phones off. Also No Vegetarian option and wasn't sure how to indicate that on my ticket. No drinks after food service. Also no entertainment for a 7hour flight that doesn't let you use electronics!"

Cons: "Our flight from Beijing to Shanghai was cancelled. We were notified about 8 hours before the flight was to depart, leaving us scrambling to fix the problem. We received no explanation for the cancellation of the flight. China Eastern and Flight Network did very little to help us. They wanted to rebook us on a flight 2 days later than the one that was cancelled. Originally, we were meant to arrive in Chicago Saturday morning, and the flight they planned to switch us to would not arrive until Monday night. Since we have jobs to keep, that wouldn't work for us. We tried to get a refund for the cancelled flight but couldn't seem to find anyone who would help us. We had to pay for a new flight on our own, costing us $1800."

Cons: "I had a layover in Kunming but was unable to check my bags all the way through to my destination, which was after the second flight. The plane landed 20 minutes late and then I had to go through baggage claim, check-in, get my 2nd boarding pass printed, re-check my bag, do customs, and security during my layover (1 hr 40 min) between flight. It was the most stressful flying experience I have had to date. Ended up running through the airport in Kunming, begging to jump lines in order to make the second flight, and catching the plane 5 minutes before takeoff. Luckily they allowed us to board even though it was so close to time. Very stressful experience."
