After booking through KAYAK for flights, the on-line check-in process was a nightmare with the KAYAK booking number not matching the information required by QANTAS. As my children were all spread over the plane, and two son's look very similar, a hostess almost did not serve one of my son's a meal as she believed my son had already received a meal further forward in the plane. Thankfully, upon checking, the hostess realised that it was a case of mistaken identity."

Pros: "It was my first A380 flight, and overall I was disappointed relative to the Dreamliner. Yet it stands out as a positive the way that Qantas has configured business class on the upper deck. It's quite peaceful. The staff was pleasant, but could have been more attentive. It felt like some cared and others did not."

The seats are not competitive with other business classes in the sky. I realize that is about to change. I flew Air Canada into Australia, and while my seat was unfortunately broken, the capabilities and overall comfort of their seats is far superior to Qantas. The business class lounge in Sydney had very poor food options in my opinion, and I was quite peckish after having skipped lunch to travel to the airport for a 4pm flight. The food options on the flight were much better, though overall options / taste were just OK."

Cons: "My business class seat was the bulk head seat. I paid dearly for this ticket and was scheduled to do business in Sydney when we landed. Having both the bathroom and food prep just beside the bulk head seat means that the staff needs to mandate a quite environment so that those persons in those seats can sleep. The staff fraternized with the passenger and I was unable to sleep. I should have been warned about this seat selection. Also the curtain that separates the areas should provide more sound proofing ability. Devastated upon arrival. This was one of my worst Qantas experiences."

The crew in the boarding gate, only after much insisting, said they would make a note so that someone from Qantas would wait for me and help me get my London-Luxembourg flight no problem, but in the next stopovers (Melbourne, Dubai), there was no sign of this. Also, the delay in the end was 2h 20 min - and I lost my flight to Luxembourg."

Cons: "Heading from BWI to Newark to Boston on 9/29 on United. There were delays at Newark airport which lasted about an hour, and meant that we would be super tight getting in for our connecting flight. We had been told ahead of the departure of the delayed flight that there would be someone on the ground at Newark monitoring the delayed connecting flights, in case a flight needed to be held. Well, we actually landed about 15 minutes before our connecting flight was due to take off. However, we quickly found out that not only were the gates closed early, but the flight tracker was showing the flight had actually left early. There was clearly no communication between on the ground crews, and everyone working at the airport once we landed seemed confused about the situation. By the time we got within eyeshot of our gate, the gate agents were telling us that the Boston flight was already closed. This meant that no one was even monitoring the situation for us, and that they made no effort to hold the plane for the five of us who were supposed to be on that flight. Additionally, that was the last flight to Boston from Newark, so they literally didn't give one iota of care for our situation. I had a 10am wedding to attend that next day, and even after telling the agent this information she still asked me whether I wanted to get on a 10:38am flight to Boston, which made exactly zero sense. After all of this, she ended up getting me on a flight into manchester (that flight had been delayed for 3 hours by this time, and was delayed again after I was booked on it) which landed at 1:24am, a full two hours and some change after I would have landed in Boston, and a full hour away from Boston. Luckily, my boyfriend had his car and was able to pick me up. I finally got to Boston around 2:45am. My suggestion to the airport crews is to actually communicate when you have issues like this. It wasn't our fault, but we were greatly inconvenienced and they did not make an effort to prevent the situation at all. Adding to this, our pilot for that first flight told us that the reason for the first delay was that Newark was congested with too many flights into and out of the airport. THAT is entirely their fault for not being able to properly gauge their own capacity and should not have ended up inconveniencing passengers! I end all this with an additional inconvenience- when I arrived for my flight on Sunday at 4:40am for a 5:55am flight back to DC, I was told that my return flight had been CANCELED. Somehow, in rebooking me on the flight to Manchester. So I had to spend 30 minutes on the phone with United to get that fixed at 5 in the morning and nearly missed my return flight due to crew incompetence as well."

Cons: "The usual. - crowded, smelly"

Pros: "They helped me when my flight was delayed."
Cons: "The fact that they kept us on the plane for over an hour trying to fix a problem only to say that they didn't know when it would be fixed. They were lousy at explaining the problem and kept saying the same thing over an over. They basically told us there was a missing screw and they couldn't find it or reach it."

Pros: "The aircraft was neat, clean and up to date. Boarding was well organized. Take off and landing was great."

Cons: "Everything , 5 hours sitting on plane on what was a two hour flight . Then the staff thinking giving me cookies was making it ok. They told me 45 min then gave me headphones witch I already had .... and said nothing for 3 hours about when we are ariveing or leaving or anything . Prob won't fly united or use kayak again ."

Cons: "The flight never happened. My flight was delayed 3 times before being cancelled and united could not book me on another flight until the following day. They would not put me in a hotel, pay for another flight or even get me a taxi to a hotel I could stay at over night. I had to book a last minute flight through another airline at my own expense"

Cons: "I never made it on the flight due to weather conditions they couldn't even hold the flight, and then when I have to get my own accommodations had to pay for my own hotel that is not cool"

Pros: "I was very cold because I take blood thinners. I was sitting directly behind first class in coach . The first class crew was passing out blanket to anyone who wants one. Several I tried to get a crew member attention which she ignore . I was told I couldn't have a blanket because they are only given to first class customers only but on my flight to Batltimore I was given a blanket in coach"

Pros: "Staff was uniformly helpful and polite. I travel w a scooter and they were helpful coordinating its transport."
Cons: "This flight was 2+ hours delayed. We were repeatedly told that it was due to weather in Chicago. I don't understand that. The weather was fine in Chicago and flights from BWI to Chicago Midway on other airlines were on time. I felt that this was a fabricated eccude."

Cons: "Under the coordintation of United airlines the commute flight from BWI airport to Newark was delayed causing me to miss the next flight to San Juan."

Pros: "They worked hard to try and get people to their connecting flights since there was a delay"
Cons: "They were overbooked They delayed my flight by about 20-30 minutes"

Pros: "Friendly staff. Delayed departure but closed the gap with just a few minutes late arrival."
Cons: "No cookies. You guys should have cookies"

Pros: "the fact we could get tv & movies on our own devices and watch our own choices"
Cons: "Very hard to get it working, not enough choices. I don't watch "stupid comedy" or slasher stuff or news. I look for uplifting, "family" fare. Couldn't get Creed to play, tried on 3 flights"
