Lovely posh old-style (not a bad thing, just old-style compared to the super modern hotel I am now in) hotel. Suite was very large, nice, and well-appointed. Staff was extremely polite and helpful (more so than at my current even more upscale hotel).
Nothing really. But I would not have loved the location if I hadn't been attending a conference at Waseda University which is basically right there. The neighborhood is actually wonderful. But there is so much more in Tokyo. I guess I would recommend it for someone who wants to stay out of the hubbub and in a nice neighborhood with good restaurants and amenities but not Shinjuku or Ginza or Shiodome. Fairly close to Shinjuku though. Walked there and back.
The property was elegant and well maintained. There was a floral aroma in the air and displays of fresh flowers throughout. The rooms were very clean and our suite was incredibly spacious. Staff was wonderful and the access to the park outside was fantastic. We had coffee, green tea, Ceylon tea, and plum kelp tea in plentiful supply as well as creamer and sugar. I would have liked to see Stevia but I brought my own as most places overseas don’t carry this sweetener. The cleaning staff did a fantastic job and kept the bathroom supplies well stocked. The mini bar had a good variety even though we opted not to partake, so we set the items to the side, as we needed the fridge. We did have to have ice brought up as there is no ice machine on the floors. Transportation was provided to just a limited area. Overall, this was a great hotel.
No ice machines on floor.
The staff went the extra mile to provide impeccable service and to make sure we got where we needed to go. I loved the toilet seat warmer
I wish the room were a little bigger. Also Inwish the shuttle went to more places in the city center, due to its location. I wish there wasn't an additional fee to use the spa/pool area. I wish breakfast was included or at least not so expensive.
Room size was big enough against the rent...
Gym, pool and spa was paid service
