Pros: Check in was quick staff friendly.
Cons: Did not notice until I was on the road that the car was on empty. Tried to stop and get gas and the tank cover would not unlock. I had to drive back to trade the car in. I feel like this car should never have been rented out in this condition but it was the only one on the lot.

Cons: The upfront cost did not include liability insurance necessary for the trip, increasing the subtotal significantly. Also, the car tires were deflated, one significantly and dangerously low. I refilled it but it kept dropping. The gas tank was not full upon car pickup. Drop off location changes after 4 pm and a new location was hard to locate, as the address provided did not correspond to the exact location. The car wasn't cleaned sufficiently.
Pros: The car was fine, and once I was finally in it.
Cons: The airport shuttle. There was no information on my reservation or in the airport rental car shuttle waiting area letting Payless customers know that you need to phone the local office for a pick up. The only way this information was found out was after all the other rental car company shuttles went by numerous times - that I stopped one and asked about Payless. They said I had to call - then I had to google the phone number. Once in the office - I needed to repeat every detail of information that was already on my reservation - i.e. phone number, email address, credit card, etc. (This was a prepaid reservation). Then the car wasn't ready - I had to wait another 15 minutes. The whole process took over an hour. On the return, my flight was changed so I asked if it would be OK to keep the car for another hour or two - they said yes for $35. I declined and spent two additional hours at the airport.
Pros: It was the cheapest option.
Cons: I wish Payless told their guests that they have to call the office when their plane lands and they want a shuttle to their car. I waited 45 minutes for the shuttle to arrive, in Philadelphia in New Year’s Eve. I have never rented a car and had to call for a shuttle. EVERY OTHER car rental agency had shuttles running.
Pros: Convenient location & great Price for a good car
Cons: They really need to let you know that the rental spot is off the airport property. They also need to tell you that they close at 4pm and that you need to call for shuttle service.

Cons: The car was not very clean and had a Smokey smell. They didn’t have you evaluate the car before leaving, like most businesses do, which was a little unsettling.

Cons: Car stalled 3 times and check engine light came on. Returned car next morning. They said I would get a refund once kayak paid them. I never received a refund and they blamed it on you. I should have have received 271.00 back.
Pros: Drop off after hours was in a very remote location, difficult to get in and out of the location to the city.
Cons: Liability and Insurance costs charged at the location were way too high than any regular insurance providers.
