Since I forgot to bring my hair gel, I asked where I can find a store to buy one and instead one of the gentleman offered to barrow his gel so I won’t have to buy one! My wife and I 1 year anniversary was in November 2nd and I called last minute to request a champagne bottle, cheese cake, a rose to surprise my wife upon arrival to the hotel. And they got the job done next day! Facility is spot on clean, with a nice bar and restaurant. We also enjoyed our view of the city looking down la reforma. The day of día de Los muertos they gifted us a small skeleton with a paper explaining the history of the special holiday.

Cons: I got a room in front of the elevator, which represents a bell sound every time one arrives. There was a very loud music in one antro nearby (my room faced the street and not the lovely Independence Angel). Music reduce volume at 3:00 am and continued until 4:00 am. Restaurants service was extremely slow. As I am on a special regimen I ordered an spinachs and ham omelet and I had to wait 35 minutes to have it served. I had dinner in the other restaurant and I ordered chicken on the grill with steamed vegetables. It took them 45 minutes to have it done, and none of the restaurants were half capacity when I went. I used the business center to fill an IMSS application and computers could not connect. The girl that was working there helped to complete the form in her computer (Erika her name, good job!). So I am sorry to fill a review very disappointed. I came to the hotel less than a month ago and the experience was amazing. Fellow travelers, ask for a room away from the elevators and looking the Independence Angel.

I could hear all the noises from the kitchen, from the staff doing thing very very late at night and very early when they start to get ready for breakfast. I felt like I was in the kitchen the 5 days I was there. The staff zero consideration with the level of noise they create and also the hours the have for cleaning. Awful experience I am never going back there.

Cons: We were moved rooms due to an air conditioning malfunction and I left a jacket in the old room. The next day I asked the front desk for the item but no one seemed to care. Two days after many follow-up calls they informed me that they had found nothing. I was not fond of the dishonesty of the workers or the service from the front desk.

The air conditioner didn't work, my girlfriend called them about the problem, they said they will send somebody to check, 30 minutes later, nobody come, I called myself, some m**on answered and said that somebody will come very soon, 15 min later, nothing... I called again and said to send here some staff immediately, some guy came, DID NOT do anything, literally, because he couldn't fix the air conditioner. I called again and said that the guy didn't fix it, the same m**on receptionist said that somebody will come again to check, I was already angry and said that I want to change the room, the receptionist said that staff will come to help to change the room, 20 min later, nothing. I went to reception by myself and only then they gave me the keys to a new room. "GREAT communication and customer support!!!!!!!" The air conditioner in a new room worked, but not properly, we put it to 16 degrees, a few hours later it was 21 degrees in the room...

Cons: We felt that the value of the hotel was completely mismatched to the price. The hotel was priced like a more luxury hotel but you felt like you were in a very sterile like airport hotel. The rooms were cold, there were some minor repairs needed and we had a great hotel balcony but it hadn’t been properly cleaned in ages and only had 2 uncomfortable chairs to sit on that so we never used it. If the price were cut in half we would not have any real complaints.

This hotel is restricted, censored, banned from many internet pages. I tried to buy underwear online because I had no time to go to a store and I was unable to access such pages. What ??? It is perhaps this hotel owned by the Vatican?
Also, I was in the 16th floor and the smell of a burn oil from kitchens is amazing. One maid told me that probably the smell goes up through the elevator. Really???

The hotel is in a good location with the Insurgentes train station, convenience stores, cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. While it’s in a busy area, you cannot hear the noise in the room so that was great. The room itself was clean, colorful and pretty, and very functional. They serve good breakfast including proper coffee, but would suggest to add eggs. There were 24/7 free coffee, tea and water. The staff are friendly, helpful and happy to serve, especially the lobby guards and breakfast crews.

Pros: So I was considering going to Mexico City and Orbitz had a $50 off $100 promotion, and only certain hotels were included. Ny. T. Roma Hotel came up, so I booked it for a week without thinking much of it.
Fast forward to a couple of days ago, and I arrived to check in to a really, really nice room. Apparently there are many differnet room types, so I was assigned to a king bed room with an extra bed and a sauna. I couldn't get the sauna to work, and unfortunately I had to give this huge room up as my Internet wasn't working. This room was at the end of the hallway, so the signal strength wasn't good.
Cue the amazing staff, who showed me a few rooms with my laptop in tow to see if the Internet would work. I found a room near the elevator on the 2nd floor that worked for me, and Ricardo went to the basement, apparently, and summoned up a desk and a chair for me to work on since I had mentioned it was a shame the rooms were missing this feature.
The lighting in the room is awesome. They have rope lights along the floor that you can control, so at night I have just enough light to find the bathroom without turning on more lights to wake myself up. There's also a backlit mirror on the wall and like 3 or 4 other light switches to get the mood JUST right.

Pros: So I was considering going to Mexico City and Orbitz had a $50 off $100 promotion, and only certain hotels were included. Ny. T. Roma Hotel came up, so I booked it for a week without thinking much of it.
Fast forward to a couple of days ago, and I arrived to check in to a really, really nice room. Apparently there are many differnet room types, so I was assigned to a king bed room with an extra bed and a sauna. I couldn't get the sauna to work, and unfortunately I had to give this huge room up as my Internet wasn't working. This room was at the end of the hallway, so the signal strength wasn't good.
Cue the amazing staff, who showed me a few rooms with my laptop in tow to see if the Internet would work. I found a room near the elevator on the 2nd floor that worked for me, and Ricardo went to the basement, apparently, and summoned up a desk and a chair for me to work on since I had mentioned it was a shame the rooms were missing this feature.
The lighting in the room is awesome. They have rope lights along the floor that you can control, so at night I have just enough light to find the bathroom without turning on more lights to wake myself up. There's also a backlit mirror on the wall and like 3 or 4 other light switches to get the mood JUST right.

Cons: Our understanding at the time of booking was that all taxes were included in the booking price of US$411 for our stay of 6 nights. HOWEVER, at the check out, we were charged all taxes over and above the room rates. Our total bill was $486 Canadian (about US$472), the bill included about $13 of Telephone charges (very high charges of about $1/minute for local calls!!). So we feel that we were overcharged about US$48.
