Pros: Best view of Zocalo, the front desk staff were very professional and accommodating. The free water bottles and apples were quite welcoming.
Cons: Rooftop restaurant did not have a bar, you have to order and sit on a table to drink. I paid the most expensive mojitos I ever had $24 dollars for two to be exact plus tip for the waiter. The room I had was tiny with a 1foot by two slim overhead window, quite claustrophobic for me... The breakfast buffet was $24 dollars, really! You walk next block to Restaurant El Popular and order their menus for less than $6.

Pros: The rooms at the Zocalo Central are well accommodated and well maintained. The staff is phenomenally helpful and friendly, and the roof-top cafe has an unbelievable view of the national cathedral and central plaza below. For sightseeing purposes, one can't beat the location, which is merely steps away from the cathedral, Palacio Nacional, and the city's archeological site.

Pros: The hotel is a gem. It is centrally located, very clean and the staff was amazing. They were friendly and helped us out with getting around the city. As soon as you walk in they make you feel welcomed. They greet you with a smile and a glass of authentic horchata or jamaica. Love it!! The evening guest services provides us with suggestions for excursions, which we took advantage of.
Cons: The restaurant buffett was a bit overpriced. It does provide a great view, so that's what you mainly pay for.

Cons: Internet is not working great. Being on a business trip I need it to work all the time. From time to time the connection is interrupted followed by the periods where I could not connect at all. While the staff acknowledged the problem it should not happen that often in the first place (and it happened both times when I stayed in the hotel. The 2nd time was working much better than the first time)

Cons: The service from check-in was horrible. The staff were pretentious and not helpful. They were not friendly and had an attitude of getting the job done at the very least effort. If asked to do something mundane, like giving you change for a bill, it was obvious they were irritated. We had issues with the ATM, which ended up eating up our ATM card and the staff said they were not responsible and didn’t offer any help; not even to call the bank in charge of the ATM. The elevators were really slow and the check in line was really long.

Cons: The check in computer system was always not working properly and even with the clercs were working hard there always was a long row of people waiting to be checked in. You would be lucky if you could check-in in less than 40 minutes. But there were a number of people claiming Someone else was already staying in the room you finally got. There was a day when more than ten people were overbooked and claiming for hours. The electric key was broken, sometimes it worked, but gets broken again, and usually you have to wait about 7-8 minutes for someone to come and open your room.

Safe did not work. Note regarding to help yourself to one free coffee packet - but no packets were ever there. There was no information in room about anything the hotel offered. Super-slow elevators....that is a very LONG wait many times Very lame "lobby bar" Dark/dingy restaurant I would have left after the first night, but I had prepaid.

Cons: This property is badly in need of an update. The plumbing is messed up -- our bathtub (but not sink or shower) ran brown water, I guess from the rust. The mattresses were quite old. TV was not flatscreen.

Pros: Este hotel queda en la mejor zona de Ciudad de México, al frente del Angel de la Independencia. Esto es muy bueno pues hay muchos sitios donde comer y conocer cerca. Si van a ir el fin de semana de día de muertos, tienen que tener mucha paciencia, pues el tráfico es un caos, lo bueno es que pueden ver el desfile desde la ventana del hotel.

I was gone most of the day, and in the room alone on business so it didn't bother much. I imagine I would have felt very differently given other circumstances. Also, I'm not sure AC temp was just for show. The first night at 76*F felt almost the same as second night at 65*F

Pros: The hotel has lots of restaurants, and coffee place (token) very good area in Polanco, with shops and bars nearby.... uber drivers and cabs are pretty much a whistle away from the bell hop! Staff is super nice and were fast at fixing shower head! All of Sky Sports England and Italia were in the hotel along with ex F1 driver!
Cons: The prices in the Polanco area including the hotel is over priced! Once ate 3 tacos for 250 mex pesos!!!!! If you don't have patience, just don't go, because traffic is not even describable! Take into account minimum 1hour and a half in case to go places from the hotel! For F1 weekend take 3 hours for traffic!!!!

It is perhaps this hotel owned by the Vatican? Also, I was in the 16th floor and the smell of a burn oil from kitchens is amazing. One maid told me that probably the smell goes up through the elevator. Really???

There are 2 bars on Calle Amberes that play music very, very, very loud until at least 2 am if not later and the room isn't soundproof. Normally i can sleep through anything, but this was really loud and my 'fix' was kleenex in the ears. Next time, I'm asking to stay on the 'other' side of the building.

Pros: I loved the location of the hotel. It was always very clean. The view from my room was fantastic!!
Cons: I didn't like that a room key was needed to be put in a slot to power your room. So if you were gone most of the day the AC was off.

Pros: Updated, chic decor. Comfy bed. Good location. Staff is friendly.
Cons: General upkeep and maintenance. Room walls and door are thin - had to switch rooms because there was a kid running and crying outside in the early AM. Second room, the toilet bowl was leaking. Third room, which was an upgrade, the balcony door didn't lock and could easily be accessed by the adjoining room that shared the balcony if they wanted to risk maneuvering over the balcony separator.

Pros: The new rooms really make a difference to the old ones. Very comfortable and finally a bathroom with shower that gives you enough space. Breakfast as usual is very good and offers a daily changing variety. The Hotel is currently under refurbishment. Floors 3-7 and the lobby are being renewed.

Pros: The facilities at the hotel were modern and spacious. Breakfast selection was extensive. Hotel room was clean and beautifully decorated. Pool, bar and restaurant felt intimate at times.
Cons: The check-in process was shaky and we weren't allowed to check in until after 30 minutes after check in time because there wasn't a room available.

Cons: I didnt like the private cab service out side . He over charged me by more than double . And then to justify the charge he took a longer route . So pretty annoying . On my way home I paid a third of the price and it took a quarter of the time .

Pros: Nice comfortable room.
Cons: We were moved rooms due to an air conditioning malfunction and I left a jacket in the old room. The next day I asked the front desk for the item but no one seemed to care. Two days after many follow-up calls they informed me that they had found nothing. I was not fond of the dishonesty of the workers or the service from the front desk.

Pros: The hotel is amazing. Located centrally and only a few miles from the historical center. The Zona Rosa is walking distance and is fun. Saul on the reception desk is AMAZING and will give you the low down on what to do in Mexixo City. Saul made my stay! He is fantastic. There are so many excursions you can go on bookable at reception. I recommend the Pyramids and Taxco. The hotel bar and restraunt is ok but there are better places in the area to eat and less expensive.

Pros: When you read breakfast included you think you'll get a continental breakfast, but it was excellent. It had fresh fruit, juice, good coffee, waffles, pancake, cereals, different regional dishes, quesadillas. It was a treat. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons: The hallways are too small, the rooms are really small and tight, there was a cockroach in my room, the internet did not work one of the days we were there.

Pros: We like that the hotel was very close to shopping dining and tourist atractions rooms where modern up to date. We took a tour to teotihuacan piramids the staff help us book that and they pick us up from the hotel
