Pros:Friendly staffCons:The car we initially purchased was a convertible and I put in Miami airport but apparently that car was 40 miles from the airport. I couldn't just cancel and get a new car I had to jump through some hoops I will not ever again purchase from anyone except for directly from the car company.Reviewed 11 Feb 2021

Cons:I ordered a car from MIA airport but Kayak recommended a car rental that was 30 minutes offsite from the airport that closed just before my flight arrived. The airport location hurtz couldn't help as they had no cars available. Very disappointed in all parties here.Reviewed 21 Feb 2021

Cons:Not waiting an hour in the waiting room for my rental. Service was slow only one person working. Car broke down and it took us three days to get a new one after sitting on hold for 2 hours trying to get it corrected. Will never rent from them againReviewed 21 Feb 2021

Cons:I know that when you read the car offer it say for example "Premium car or SIMILAR". In this case the car was not in good care conditions. It had a smell maybe of cigarretes or similar.Reviewed 19 Feb 2021

We were stranded for hoursPros:The car was bigger than expected and gave us no problems, was very clean and the service was excellent at the time of the pick up and drop offCons:Our car got hit by an piece of tire that exploded right in front of us and when we called customer service they told us basically to figure it out on our own and that there was nothing they could have done, however the car they can pick up but not the passengers which sounds unbelievable by the way, after paying $300 dollars to a cab to take us back to the airport to pick up the new car the company is just willing to refund $50 and also at the time of the reservation there are some errors regarding the fees for the authorized drivers, hope it gets fixed before more people gets scammed by it.Reviewed 18 Jul 2017

Cons:I had changed my rental dates but never received a new confirmation email, so when i got to hertz they couldn’t honor my rental car because it was outdated.Reviewed 12 Jan 2021

Hidden charges, unclear extras, unhelpful dealingPros:Car was fine, clean, etc.Cons:Having complained three times to Hertz since my return, and not being satisfied with the responses, I will now be writing to Kayak to ask you not to deal with them any more until the alter how they deal with customers. Rather than an expected approx $40 to be charged on collection, I was charged over $150 for things I did not understand and have struggled to have Hertz explain to me since. This was despite having a pre-paid insurance (via Kayak) that I showed at the collection desk and have also sent to Hertz since. They are frankly terrible to deal with and I will be writing to you with fuller details.Reviewed 18 Jan 2017

Pros:Nothing at all, Hertz said they needed a soft credit check in order to rent a car.Cons:Do the same as other agencies like Alamo that I had been and will return to, and if you have the funds rent the vehicle.Reviewed 19 Jan 2021
