Cons:

The signs for the drop off area are not easily visible, i went to the third floor by mistake an was told Enterprise was on the first floor so having to exit drive around and renter the garage was annoying. The signs need to be bigger and more visible.

Everything was great except the two persons that received the vehicle when I came to drop off vehicle. There was a minor discrepancy with final bill and the woman supervisor was very aggressive and dominating when all she had to do was relax and explain the bill. After I calmed her down it was fine

I've rented a electric car but when picked up the battery was empty (less than 10miles of autonomy) I've returned it and another was provided, unfortunately same situation. Lost an hour in a process so I then took the risk to drive it to a charging station... Be aware that most of the charging station displayed by Maps or even Ford systems are inside Condos and not accessible to the public which restrict a lot the possibilities.

Long waiting line to get the car. We were given car location, but when we got to it, we couldn’t open the track. No one was available to help. We rented car in Miami. It has lots of toll roads. I paid for unlimited tolls, but device — transponder was not in the car, and person I found in the garage had very different information, that person at the counter. Person in the garage claimed, that it shouldn’t be there.

Pick up was excellent. Staff assisted with ease despite me mistakenly booking the wrong airport. I ended up getting rental from Hollywood International FLL instead of Miami. Drop-off was quick and easy and I didn't have to worry about missing my flight despite being strapped for time.

There was a slow line when arrived but thats understandable but when picked up the car noticed it was barely cleaned… found small toy on the back and a box of multiple pills, can imagine it was never desinfected, not even following covid protocols, had to stor at the nearest gast station to do so. If you are going to charge me astronomical sum from saturday to sunday, $655 because it will be returned in another state the least I would expect is to receive an impeccable car

Awful. Tricked into buying insurance I didn't want. I tried talking to them about not wanting it on the day I got it. They told me to either come back that day or at drop off dispute it then. I left the city I got it in by the time I called so I though return would be fine. At return they said there was nothing they can do but bring to their manage who wasn't there. They said to leave message for them to review and leave email and phone number. I did and left number and email. No response. I'm billed 350$ more than I wanted. Nothing and I think I won't get any. Also customer service was awful in store and on the phone. No help on phone can be done for these things and was lied to.

I pre-paid for a convertible car but when I arrived they tried to give me a 2 door coupe and when I spoke with the agent she was surprised that the car was not a convertible. She tried to give me some other sports car but I told her that I really wanted what I paid for. She then said that I would have to come back the next morning for a convertible. (Good thing we had decided not to drive down to Key West that night like our original plan). When we got there the next morning they didn’t have a convertible still, so I told them to just give me a SUV and pointed to an Explorer. She said ok and then said “hang on” and we waited for about 10-15 more minutes and then finally one of the other agents pulled up with a convertible. We loaded our luggage and left.

Pros:

EZ counter had no customer but said couldn't help me and sent me to Advantage counter where I had to wait behind 2 customers. When finally helped agent had difficulty finding my reservations and asked why I didnt go to EZ counter. Process took longer than past experiences renting cars from other rental companies. My personal car was in repair and I was not sure if may need extension on rental days. The agent advised they dont extend amd I would need to return rental and then start over in rental process. This did not make sense to me and would be an inconvenience. In past I have been able to extend my rental with other companies by simply calling amd requesting.

Cons:

As noted in my experience with EZ, I had some inconveniences that the company could have avoided.

The pickup process lasted over an hour with only 6 customers in front of me. There was 1 employee managing the desk (who was working hard), but it was too much for 1 person. After receiving the keys, the car was not in the spot (A-11) that they told me it was so I walked around the garage hitting the alarm until I found it. Drop off was incredibly ambiguous- took me 10 mins to find another renter’s employee and confirm the drop off procedure. I will NEVER rent from Advantage again.

The staffing!! There was ONE, not two, but ONE staff working. We waited over half an hour to finally start checking in even though we filled out all the information through the link they sent via text. The staff was rude, too sarcastic sounding, and took out important information in regards to the gas filling upon return just to get us to over pay!!

Staff really wanted to push us into an SUV, which we really did not need. We caved in and let him "upgrade" us to a Hyundai Santa Fe from the originally reserved Toyota Camry, which we are quite sure would have been a much nicer ride. Upon pick up, we noticed accident damage along the passenger side of the vehicle. As we saw another customer drive away in the very nice Toyota Camry we originally reserved, we were not happy.

The line for pick up was 3x longer than any other line in the miami airport, thrifty center was shutdown sonhad to stand in line for the dollar rental. Back windows of our car did not roll up all the way when putting the top up so had to manually pull them back into place. Will choose another rental company if visiting miami again.

Worst car rental experience we’ve ever had. We had booked a van months in advanced. Our flight times had been changed by the airline about a month prior to our trip. Fox NEVER reached out to us to explain there is only a 6 hour grace window of time from arrival to when they will hold your car for you. We had no idea. So after a very long travel day we take the shuttle to their off-site facility 20 min away (another thing we didn’t realize because the website said they were located AT the airport), we were told our reservation had been cancelled because we were like 45 min passed the grace window of arrival and they had no other cars. We had two small children with us and they were completely unhelpful and showed no remorse. NEVER EVER book with this company.

This was a terrible place to rent from. The front desk gentleman was not honest. He said if you declined the toll pass and then went through a toll that it would be $28 a DAY. He did not inform us it was $28 every single toll. I ended up paying over $200 in tolls for three days. I talked with them and they would not provide any assistance. Not only did they charged that we had ti pay for a Lyft ride from the facility to the airport. Very deceiving, do not recommend.

very bad service, they do not respect the prices they have on the website, I live in Florida and they told me that I had to take the obligatory sunpass because if not, every time I went through a toll and took the photo it would cost me 28 dollars, when No toll costs that. They gave me a rate for the sunpass and a client before me was given a much more expensive one. He charged me 19 a day and he charged a foreigner 28 a day and I told him why a price and my other one, he didn't know what to answer but I imagine that as a Florida resident he couldn't steal my face, "SO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAR COMPANY AT ALL" it is better with serious companies

Online it say unlimited miles but then when you go in person the charge you 0.25 cent per every mile after 100 miles. Bad advertising and a big waste of my time driving all the way there to find that out.

Slow service and a scam. First of all, to get here you have to take the usual airport shuttle to the rental car shuttle, then walk through there, and wait outside for another shuttle. I landed at 11pm and did not leave the center until after 1:00 a.m. and there were only three sets of people in front. The front desk woman was RIDICULOUSLY slow. She is struggling to enter the information even though she's been using the same system all day. Then they have a policy they never stated in the reservation, if you take their insurance it's only a $250 deposit, however if you want to use your insurance it has a certain limit, the deposit is TWO THOUSAND dollars yes $2,000.00 and they don't take Amex. Never again.

Shady company, got there to pick up and had all these additional charges and mileage restrictions after my reservation clearly stated unlimited miles. Ended up walking out and renting at Avis instead which was so much better.

Very very very silly drop off procedure. You can’t drop your keys off without standing in a 30m line. Just use a drop box. Such a weird waste of time to be required to stand in line to give keys back by hand. They don’t even need me to sign anything. Just stand there for 30m then you can go. These guys ware your time at the airport. Good clean cars, just don’t waste your time here. Go on vacation, make your flight, just don’t let them waste your time.

The Staff showed poor customer service. I had ti call three times fr them t send a shuttle to pick us up from the airport. The person helping us had a nasty disposition, and did not even want to answer our questions. They tried to charge us almost 25% more than what the Kayak quote was. They refused to honor the type of vehicle for the price that was the car class that we chose online.

Pick up was a maze, it took an hour from the terminal to find their location to find out that there is a shuttle to take to their main office. Once arrived, there was a line outside where we waited an hour (amongst others).There are hidden fees that are claimed to be in the fine print, but be prepared to pay for extra liability (despite having purchased the third party insurance) and for the sun pass $10.99/day or you have to pay a $25 fine plus the toll. In essence, our $343 rental was upwards of $500. We ended up cancelling and spending less on Ubers for the three days we spent there.

Cons:

While This was the most inexpensive car rental we could find at the time there was a reason for it. It became evident when it took us over two hours to get our rental from the time we were dropped off by the shuttle to the office. And that was just the first thing that started our poor service with this rental

If they had a vehicle I could fit in, that I requested, it may have been better. But these clowns jump you through hoops then try and shove you into the only car they have available which is far smaller than the one I specifically requested? I'm a large guy, I'm not fitting into a compact Honda CR-V. I asked for a intermediate SUV Pathfinder/Rouge.

Picking the car up was painstakingly slow. It took me two hours of waiting, then hunting for documents, then waiting again to leave with the car. The SunPass schema is a racket and costs $10.99/day to "activate" a SunPass that's already active under their fleet registration.

Terrible. The price was changed from $20 for a car rental to $628 for 48 hours including security deposit. $500 security deposit was denied by my bank. My bank denied the transaction as fraud alert. I rebooked at The airport car Rental counter who rented us a car that honored the contract for about $50. NU car changed the price from $20- $628. And $500 was just for security deposit. Airport car rental only $150-$200 for security deposit.

The whole pickup and dropoff including the contract documents and HUGE deposit fees for the rental were ridiculous. Strongly urge you to use one of the more name brand car rental agencies over these smaller shady agencies. They messed up on their end with contract and pricing and added multiple costs to our rental that should have never been added such as Toll surcharges, a bogus economy car upgrade even though that is what we originally paid for and reserved, as well as the check in process literally took over an hour to complete and finally leave with the car. They added a new costs to our whole rental a whole week later into the rental period and forced us to either pay or forfeit the deposit money. Overall a very unprofessional and “shady” rental car company. Will not ever use them again. And reporting them to the major review forums.

Horrible service. The desk agent couldn’t care less. We got there after traveling for 13 hours with three kids and they are slow as can be. I provided them with our auto insurance which we’ve had for a couple of years but they said we HAD to buy their insurance too. They said because the policy is less than 3 months old, we have no choice. Every insurance policy renews at a yearly interval. I showed them that we have had the same insurance on the same cars with Farmers insurance for two years and yes, this policy is “new” as it renews itself in July of every year but has been in effect for far longer than the renewal date. Seems like it’s their way to scam people into buying their insurance. At that point it was late at night, we’d have to go back to the airport to go to a diff company which we couldn’t do with three kids tired and hungry so we had zero choice and they knew that. I hope karma gets the owner of a company who scams people like this. Upon returning the vehicle, directions to this warehouse is a nightmare and we got rerouted a couple of times. By the time that we got there we risked missing our flight. We had called on the way to ask if the shuttle could be ready for us to hop right in. We got there and they were soooo slow even though we nicely told them we really needed to rush. They still didn’t care and took their sweet time. He dropped us at the rental car area on the opposite end of the terminal. He could have been nice and dropped us at the departure gate knowing the tough spot we were in. In the end we had to literally run through the airport with our suitcase and three kids. What a disaster.

NU Car did not make it obvious that a hefty $2500 young driver fee would be added out of nowhere upon my arrival to pick up the vehicle. Keep in mind I had already paid the all the fees required to pick up the car. Major inconvenience in my vacation plans. Went to SIXT and had a great experience with only $100 worth of young driver fees.

The car was clean and exactly what we ordered

Pickup and dropoff were terrible. Staff ignored us and gave us all the wrong instructions on where to get the car. Nobody provided any information on where to pickup/drop off the car. Car was dropped off an hour late and we were charged for an extra day

My car options were limited to the “very similar car”. I paid for a mustang(“similar car”) and got a Camaro. I was very happy with the Camaro and am not complaining, but thought it should be known that I did get the car on the website

It wasnt the car that we had originally rented. It was nice but was not big enough for our party. We were told we would loose our money already paid at 12 at night and that this was the only option. They couldnt speak very good english and a $200 insurance was still placed on my card after I told them not to.

Fraud company please check their complaints online before referring them we never received the rental as they were forcing us to buy insurance and florida easy pass we told them we have insurance and our credit card also protects us and this is not first time we renting they were very rude and told us to leave so we had to catch cab in middle of night and messed up our vacation monetarily and fun wise

They do not inform on their page that they do not accept Apple Pay to rent the vehicle at the pickup agency and therefore they do not rent the car to you, but they do accept any type of payment for the reservation and then they tell you that to make the reverse of your money you must make a new reservation, paying more money and then they tell you in a very natural way that you lost your money from both reservations and goodbye

Car was the oldest and worst maintained rental car I've been in. Front end had issues and made noises and I wasn't comfortable taking it on the highway. Best of all, I was fully prepared with all my insurance documents to prove that I had car insurance (to avoid their $49/day) car insurance charge (yes, that's a real number) and they still charged me $12.99 a day for "Owner car insurance administration charge". Scam.

Terrible. Was quoted a price. Paid that price when we paid online but for some reason the insurance was dropped, saying “you can discuss this with an agent at time of pick up”. Furthermore, the insurance cost. $200 before it was dropped. We drive all the way to Miami, 2 hours, just to find out we can’t rent the car because we refuse to pay almost $1200 for insurance. This would have been no big deal but they don’t want to give a refund either. So they lied about the cost of the insurance, allowed me to purchase the car rental, let me drive out to pick it up, I choose to cancel based on terrible communication and my ability to find a better rental, and no refund. This has been almost a joke
