Kayak, the Singapore airline website and the checkin desk did not inform us of the requirements for entry to Singapore. This caused lost time as well as frustration
Bangkok airport needs a redesign to make it more accommodating for passengers with long layovers between flights. It needs a better selection of restaurants, stores and rest rooms near the departure gates. It also needs a shuttle or other transport system to help passengers transit the long distances between gates in different concourses.

Singapore airlines has resumed after Covid selling premium services but not opened lounges to cater for the demand you cannot get a seat in their lounges and social distancing is non existent. I wouldn't pay for services you don't get so be aware.
I love everything about Singapore airlines excepted fact that you cannot reach a person to speak with anything with on the phone that is the only reason I may not use a Singapore Airlines again I tried many times to call someone and cannot speak to a person about some specific problems that I need to speak with an individual about

There was difficulty with my connecting flight due to inconsistent COVID regulations. I was almost not allowed on, despite fulfilling all my requirements for my destination country. I was over-billed by Alaska Airlines for my luggage as well.

I paid extra for a more leg room seat however, my seat didn’t recline. It was a full flight so I was cramped up for the whole 3 hours. Also they delayed the flight by an hour just to locate a couple of passengers, unload and reload their bags. There were mothers with babies and I found that unfair to have delayed a flight for some careless passengers.
It was ok I guess but I was at the airport a long time as the flight was delayed.
MY travel plans were canceled and l tried thru KAYAK and Quantas to cancel this flight and was not able to confirm cancelation but still received flight boarding. l tried to get refunded thru Kayak and that has been horrible long unreasolved task now l am trying to go thru Credit card. with this Covid changing world, airlines and travel companies should be refundable especially since this is a Australian airlines. l am about to lose $1000.00.

Night flight and the crew took 2.5 hours to serve the food / cleanup till after midnight with multiple announcements on load speaker preventing people from sleeping. This is done by other airlines much better and the seats are very tight and small to try sleep for long flights.. Better for day flights not overnight.

I did not book a baggage allowance at that time since (1) I did not know the weight of our bags and (2) I did not know if my daughter (who was in New Zealand) would have a checked bag. I didn't think this would be a problem since US flights don't REQUIRE you to book baggage in advance. When I checked in at the airport, I was told that since I didn't already have a baggage allowance, I would be charged $70.00 (!!!) for the first 15 kgs of weight and then $15 for EACH KG (!!!) over that. The total checked bag weight for 2 bags was 41 kgs, so I was looking at a HUGE charge ($460.00) just for checking 2 bags. Fortunately (relatively speaking), the agent saw that 3 of us were traveling and "only" charged us $210.00 ($70 for 15 kg X 3). This baggage charge was as much as my airfare for 3 people!"

Agents at the desk were extremely indifferent and borderline rude, overall extremely unhelpful. Airplane interior was dingy, seat cushions were worn down and flat, extremely limited leg space (I cannot stress enough how inadequate the leg space was), no entertainment. No complimentary drinks, not even water."
