These things come standard with all other airlines I have flow with so was very surprised when finding out about it mid flight. Can't say I was very pleased but must say crew were very good

Cons: The crew was poor. One chewing gum, another picking her hair/head throughout the flight like she has nits. The third lolling around and chatting/gossiping to the others. This is a short flight. The least they could have done was behave professionally.

Cons: They wouldnt let me board because they said I was 5 min late, yet I was 30 min before the flight. The internal Brisbane airport shuttle had a problem. They should have let me board because this was the airport’s fault. They charged me 75 extra dollars too. Very lame

Cons: The jet star staff at the Auckland airport were rude when checking me and my bag in. Also both the domestic and international Auckland airports are awful.

Cons: Our carry on luggage that had been okay for all other flights to New Zealand was too heavy according to the gate agent. So at the last minute we had to go back to the ticket counter, check our bags at a price that exceeded our original ticket and run through security and the airport to get back to the gate in time to catch our flight. There was no gate checking of bags that didn't fit. Also, the flight was very rough especially coming into Wellington.

Pros: Boarding and flight was ok for a budget airline

Cons: Flight attendant let a drunk male on the plane. Male was disruptive and rude in front of children. The flight attendant then tried to serve the male more alcohol on the flight. Not professional or safe behavior.

Cons: My luggage didn't make it to Wellington, which was disappointing since they now want to charge to have it sent from Auckland.

Cons: The flight took off 25 minutes late. The boarding started later than it should have and took way too long. The airport was understaffed from the security point to the boarding point. That was surprising how in smooth both of those processes were based on seamless experiences at the same airport

Pros: Crew was excellent; responsive, cheery. The safety video was unique enough to have passengers pay attention (seldom seen onother airlines). We were impressed and will fly "Air All Blacks" again soon.

Cons: Online checkin presented problems, as did the kiosk checkin. Breakfast could have been served a little earlier -- I realize they wanted to give passengers sleep time and turbulence may have delayed service somewhat, too. Otherwise good.

Pros: The economy seats are pretty comfy considering so many other airlines, however it does make it a bit difficult to eat with a knife and fork at meal times. But the idea of a recliner seat is great! Decent in-flight entertainment.

Cons: Maybe a little more space to be able to eat a little comfortably would help. But I can understand that it's an infrastructural change that might not be possible.

Cons: It is outrageous the price for overweight cabin that was not even 10kg. Not food or entertainment included in ticket price. Even if it's a short flight, at least water to keep passengers hydrated should provide. Really uncomfortable with this situation.

Cons: The plane had a mechanical issue. The plane had sat on the ground for over 12 hours according to flightaware. They didn’t try to work on the mechanics issue till about an hour or two before boarding. This delay caused a lot of issues for so many passengers trying to make connecting flights.

Pros: Go with a major carrier instead. After all of the fees (especially for baggage - not all of them clearly disclosed) this flight cost me more than a comparable Air New Zealand flight.

Cons: BEWARE OF BAGGAGE FEES. I live in the US and booked our flight from Auckland to Wellington a month in advance. I did not book a baggage allowance at that time since (1) I did not know the weight of our bags and (2) I did not know if my daughter (who was in New Zealand) would have a checked bag. I didn't think this would be a problem since US flights don't REQUIRE you to book baggage in advance. When I checked in at the airport, I was told that since I didn't already have a baggage allowance, I would be charged $70.00 (!!!) for the first 15 kgs of weight and then $15 for EACH KG (!!!) over that. The total checked bag weight for 2 bags was 41 kgs, so I was looking at a HUGE charge ($460.00) just for checking 2 bags. Fortunately (relatively speaking), the agent saw that 3 of us were traveling and "only" charged us $210.00 ($70 for 15 kg X 3). This baggage charge was as much as my airfare for 3 people!

Pros: I always worry about Jetstar, bad experiences in the past. Just glad me and my luggage got to where we were meant to be!

Cons: Business class seats are too close together to accommodate recline. Results in a rude shock when the person in front of you reclines their seat.

Pros: The crew member in my section was amazing, he went out of his way to greet each and everyone of us individually. The flight was comfortable, boarding a breeze and on time!

Cons: Being able to gate check my stroller would have been really helpful. I’ve always been able to with other airlines & the website says you can so I was surprised that I couldn’t. Carrying two young kids & all the carry on luggage by myself through all the airports & international checkpoints without my stroller was *very* challenging. I would have planned differently had I known.
