There are plenty storage space in your seat space. The entertainment system has many choices and has a lot new release movies and shows."
Cons: "Unfortunately, the ride on Boeing 777 is not as smooth as the Airbus'. The noise in the cabin is louder. The seat is comfortable but the bed is not. First, the flat bed is not transformed by a button and it needs a physical person to flip it over. The mat is thin and I can feel some hard edges while lying down. The noise from the engine transmits to the bed and it is hard to sleep even with the noise cancellation headphone."

That’s just outrageous and the staff was not helpful at all"

This is not enough time, doesn’t allow for customs and immigration. It was a really stressful experience running between terminals with my luggage, as there was less than a 1 hour window after getting through customs and immigration, so the bag drop at international wouldn’t accept them. Got to departure gate 12 minutes before plane departure. You need more time to have a good experience !"

We were at the airport at least 2 1/2 hours before boarding time. The mistake could have been rectified, we were told it would need an email from Virgin to confirm and change the booking. We photographed and sent through passport details. We phoned the booing site, we phoned Virgin, we were put on hold for 25 mins while the booking site phoned Virgin - but Virgin refused to help us out! My husband was not able to board the flight - no refund, no help - and the sad part was, it wasn't for a holiday - it was to visit and help his 87yr old father-in-law who had fallen and cracked his spine. No sympathy from Virgin, VERY DISAPPOINTED!"

All I wanted to do was spend fifteen minutes reviewing my diary and directions for the visits planned here. This is the Irish version of hospitality. God bless his departure."

I flew jetstar from Sydney to Sunshine Coast with my backpack a personal bag and a tote bag. I had previously paid 20$ for checked luggage. Making my total for the flight 80$ no one asked to weigh my bags or questioned them. Making the 20$ extra just disappear? . They did make me throw out my beverage upon entered the aircraft that I just purchased, I would assume because it’s a ‘safety issue’ even though the airline does not give complimentary anything so I’m assuming it’s mostly competition of sales.In Gold Coast I checked my bags through security got to the gate and they had a trolly weighing bags. They asked me if I was traveling with someone else which I replied with a no. They then weighed my backpack saying it was 7kgs and I had to come with them to the front. So my backpack personal item and tote bag was too much all of a sudden. I offered to give up the tote bag which then turned the situation into that all of my bags were over weight and it was going to charge me 60$ for my 7kg backpack. I said 60$ was expensive and I paid 20$ last time for my checked bags on the way here that I hadn’t used and he said too bad. Meanwhile the majority of people boarding past me had had rolling luggage and an additional bag or a personal item and when I said something to the employee he told me I’m wrong and they were all weighed and it’s 60$ for my belongings to be checked and put under the plane? Because 60$ somehow made the weight of the flight more light? Horrible customer service. I didn’t get I’m sorry any compassion I got what are you paying with? I paid 60$ or miss my flight. 60$ could have given me one more flight. Also to mention the flight was not even completely full so what did that 60$ accomplish? Awful awful awful . So in the future I suppose I’m just going to donate 20$ regardless if I have checked luggage or not because paying for everything is the only consistent thing on jetstar. On the positive side they let me jump the line after I paid 60$ for my “overweight luggage” and I got to my assigned seat more quickly."

Cons: "Rude Jetstar staff at Coolingatta found we had 4 items weighing 15.5 kg instead of 14 and wanted to charge us $60 to load a bag on plane. Last Jetstar flight for me"

Cons: "My father passed away this morning, and I couldn’t call anyone to change my flight. The number didn’t work. So I had to purchase 2 new tkts for the 11.30 flight home."

Pros: "Economic overall. Check in staff very helpful in resolving baggage issue ( see below). As long as you undertstand your ticket/ baggage cost, you'll be fine."
Cons: "Tried to pay in advance for baggage. Online system wouldn't accept our credit card (needed a signature) so entire booking put on hold. A little stressful, but airport staff sorted it out with no added cost."

Pros: "Newer plane, arrived on time."
Cons: "You have to pay extra for everything. Even though it’s an eight hour flight there is no food, drink or entertainment included. They do have screens at the back of each seat but it’s $10 to watch a limited selection. The food and drink are expensive. It gets cold in the plane but you guessed it if you ask for a blanket you have to buy a $20 “comfort pack”. So be prepared!"

Pros: "What did I like... er..... I got home !"
Cons: "Where to begin: 1. The staff. the rudest flight crew i have ever come across in my professional career 2. The flight, well, as always, the flight was delayed for no reason, no explanations, no apologies, nothing 3. Comfort.... the Airbus A321 is a good airframe, other airlines engage seat manufactures with comfort in mind... nope.. not jetstar 4. Food. What food??? Was there any food?? nope.. there was a bag of nuts and some chips... 5. Entertainment. Well, I had fun listening to the cabin crew moan about passengers, so that was entertaining.. NEVER AGAIN"

Cons: "Child behind sitting on floor banging seat and loud devices being used with no ear phones so couldn’t rest"

Pros: "never fly with Jetstar again ripped off with return baggage cost girl at reception seemed to get pleasure at taking 60 dollars from me for another hidden cost"

Pros: "It was a quick flight, managed to leave 10min earlier than scheduled. Pretty smooth."
Cons: "Seats were very uncomfortable, felt very straight and no real headrest; even though it was a new plane. Quite a lot of families with young children flying, it was the last domestic flight out so expected it to be less children. It was a bit noisy at times."

Pros: "The price of food etc. The norm!"

Pros: "That the flight was on time and the baggage arrived quickly."
Cons: "Bag check was difficult. I neglected to purchase my one bag’s space in the hold either because I forgot or neglected this task. Nevertheless, when I tried to purchase the checked bag, I was misdirected twice and separate scales were 7kilos apart! Thus my “budget airfare” from Sydney to Coolangatta was $94, my checked bag in the other direction cost $124! This was the only hiccup, but the bag check process was unnecessarily expensive, unwieldy, and confusing."

Pros: "kylie the ground staff for Jetstar was brilliant"

Pros: "First time flyer very good"

Pros: "Plane delayed missed connection had to spend night in Melbourne"

Pros: "All very straightforward from boarding to landing. Pleasant and helpful crew. As comfortable as could be for a small plane."
Cons: "No entertainment available - although flight was only an hour so not really a big deal"

Pros: "Ticket price seemed reasonable, until it was time to check in"
Cons: "Airline wanted to charge $145 for one 20 kilo check-in bag Wanted to also push me to a later flight Would not allow anything over 7 kilos carry on, and were weighing items at the gate. This put several thousand dollars of camera gear for me at risk to baggage handlers with no option to pay more for weight. The airline of course accepts no responsibility if you do have to check fragile gear due to their carry on restrictions. Seat space was hands down the smallest I've ever seen. Overheard at least three other passengers say the same Overall, experience couldn't be worse. Will not fly again."

Pros: "We didn't crash and everything apart from the leg room being smaller was okay."
Cons: "They have taken two inches off the leg room. I know cause my legs now don't fit sitting straight."

Cons: "NEW check in procedure with lack of instruction Seat spacing and lack of room in cattle class, first seat I have ever had that it's so called upright position actually bent you uncomfortably forward during take off and landing and I used to work in the industry"

Pros: "Helpful and friendly staff on board. Easy check in and boarding. Slight departure delay but arrived on time."
Cons: "Food options aren't great or cheap, but it's a budget airline so what do you really expect? Same goes for baggage. 7kg carry-on isn't a lot but prepare for it properly and you'll have no problems - you can't complain when you're charged for being a few kilos over."

Cons: "The staff were quite rude I asked for 3 hours for my screen to be fixed so I could sleep. A hostess stepped on my foot an swore and did not apologise or acknowledge anything. The seats were cramped. I will not be flying with Jetstar on an international flight again or local if I can avoid it."

Cons: "Beer was warm. At that price for average beer it would be nice to have it cold!"

Pros: "Have flown with jet star and I always have a great flight and I really enjoy how amazing the flight crew always are. Will continue to choose Jetstar for my domestic flights."

Pros: "Customer service and ticket counter staff pleasant--that's it. Everything else disappointing -- will not fly them again -- Air New Zealand or Quantas only; don't know about United Emirates; paid $100 for baggage greater than 7K on international travel -- only $50 for domestic travel -- beware!! Must get luggage allowance on line at least 4 hours in advance of departure. Seats are tighter than any U.S. carrier including Spirit and Frontier. Kayak should somehow warn passengers unfamiliar with Jetstar airlines policy!!!"

Pros: "Great electronic boarding procedures, mobile app and website. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable agents at airports and on-board. Will definitely fly JetStar in the future and highly recommend this airline!"
