That’s just outrageous and the staff was not helpful at all"

Pros: "Booked these flights though Kayak. Landing from LAX at 0730 at Auckland international terminal and then departing at 0900 from the domestic terminal. This is not enough time, doesn’t allow for customs and immigration. It was a really stressful experience running between terminals with my luggage, as there was less than a 1 hour window after getting through customs and immigration, so the bag drop at international wouldn’t accept them. Got to departure gate 12 minutes before plane departure. You need more time to have a good experience !"

We were at the airport at least 2 1/2 hours before boarding time. The mistake could have been rectified, we were told it would need an email from Virgin to confirm and change the booking. We photographed and sent through passport details. We phoned the booing site, we phoned Virgin, we were put on hold for 25 mins while the booking site phoned Virgin - but Virgin refused to help us out! My husband was not able to board the flight - no refund, no help - and the sad part was, it wasn't for a holiday - it was to visit and help his 87yr old father-in-law who had fallen and cracked his spine. No sympathy from Virgin, VERY DISAPPOINTED!"

Pros: "The departure and return flight time, for the price I paid, I felt like I was in more than an economy flight. The meal, the baggage quota, the entertainment. The time flew because by the time the movie had finished, we were starting to descend. I will always look for this flight with Emirates. There is no other flight in comparison, in what you get for your Buck. I believe that other Airlines, ie., Qantas, Virgin Aust, both give you a flight and service, for nearly the same fare but you only get 7kg luggage, no meal just the basic entitlement, tea/coffe/water with a biscuit or something like that and NO ENTERTAINMENT, NO COMPARISON!!!!"

Our plane got delayed ( and this is not the first time we have had this with Qantas), and then we missed our connecting flight. The ground staff were not helpful at all. Our connecting flight was with LAn airlines and LAN were very cooperative and gave us another later flight though they were not obligated to do so. Qantas are generally too much by the book and things always go wrong. I still use them but it is a risk that I need to consider more next time. LAN/Latam helped us out because they are more customer oriented. Anyway, good luck"

I went to use the toilet before the flight and stood for several minutes waiting as the occupied sign was engaged. I was passed by staff three times before informed that the toilet is unvaivable until in the air. Really! So why did you squeeze past me 3 times without telling me this detail?"
Pros: "Not much to like... well I guess they got me there safe... LOL"
Cons: "Uh... $25 a kilo over baggage weight ? Everyone on plain carrying bags that weigh 10 tons due to that.. which makes everyone's experience quite lacking... Staff not very friendly nor helpful both service and flight attendants."

Cons: "Flight was 4 and 1/2 hours late. While we waited 3 flights departed on time to our destination Sydney. Neither the pilot nor the cabin manager made any acknowledgement of our inconvenience ....just "thank you for flying with us". Appalling lack of sensitivity or decency. They are apparently oblivious to their contribution to JetStar's poor reputation. Someone else's fault no doubt!"
Pros: "I'm a regular flyer, and can't count how often I've been on planes. This was the best, smoothest and least stressful of any shirt hop I've ever taken, and while it can't rival a big plane for food or entertainment, the seats were cozy, I had legroom and it was simply very well done!!"
Cons: "Nothing!"
Pros: "Ít’s a terrible experience with Jetstar!"
Cons: "Agent at the counter gave us headache just because she request information that is not necessary. I had to run more than one hour from counter to counter and it near the boarding time and until when I asked another agent, she said that I don’t need that information for my flight. Thanks God! I think She has poor training"
Pros: "That the flight was on time and the baggage arrived quickly."
Cons: "Bag check was difficult. I neglected to purchase my one bag’s space in the hold either because I forgot or neglected this task. Nevertheless, when I tried to purchase the checked bag, I was misdirected twice and separate scales were 7kilos apart! Thus my “budget airfare” from Sydney to Coolangatta was $94, my checked bag in the other direction cost $124! This was the only hiccup, but the bag check process was unnecessarily expensive, unwieldy, and confusing."

Cons: "Baggage policy is terrible even after buying extra baggage. Stressful."

Cons: "More leg room up front. It's ridiculous that there's legroom."

Cons: "On an international connection I had to collect my baggage, clear customs, and re-check for my onward trip."
Pros: "Reasonable price, quite helpful at check-in, got extra leg room for this 6ft. plus frame."
Pros: "Helpful and friendly staff on board. Easy check in and boarding. Slight departure delay but arrived on time."
Cons: "Food options aren't great or cheap, but it's a budget airline so what do you really expect? Same goes for baggage. 7kg carry-on isn't a lot but prepare for it properly and you'll have no problems - you can't complain when you're charged for being a few kilos over."
Pros: "We got everything we paid for"
Cons: "Some of the cabin crew including the manager need to lighten up and smile occasionally"
Cons: "Walk from gate 49 to closest exit doors 1.9km, no travellators. Are you kidding me? Never again."

Cons: "Flight attendant that yanked my boarding pass out of my hand. 2d flight attendant who twice "forgot" to tell me whether she had looked for or found my luggage lock which had gotten lost when 1st flight attendant yanked my boarding pass out of my hand."
Pros: "Just got socked with $465 checked baggage fee for 3 bags! Let the buyer beware. I will NEVER use Jetstar again & suggest you look elsewhere. Fyi there is no ZERO rating, so would have given that!"
Cons: "Nothing"
Cons: "I missed my next flight to NYC because of cancellation (even though i had 22h in tokyo to spend). And had to spend huge amount of money to get home."
Cons: "Butchered by prices that were offered on Kayak and then taken to the airline sites where the prices are different. Jetstar rips you up with baggage prices at the gate. Nowhere does Kayak state that you have to pay upfront for Jetstar baggage......"
Cons: "United did not ship our bag so we had to make a claim before leaving Cutoms in Aukland. We got to the Jet Star ticket counter 3"
Pros: "Comfortable seating and professional crew"
Cons: "Jet star counter at Melbourne has the WORST customer service I've ever encountered. Literally 3 employees standing around chatting while I'm trying to find someone to help with my passport not reading. Then standing at another counter waiting to be helped while being completely ignored. I understand when you're busy (even though he didn't seem busy) but at least acknowledging my presence would've been lovely. Also- baggage fees for this airline should be criminal."

Had to take separate seats from family and middle seats, had to spend entire day in Sydney which required us to spend money on a visa and money to eat, had additional stress of then arriving too late and needing to rebook rental car and arranged hotel and make sure elederly parents with special needs were ok health wise. Will be asking Fiji for full refund plus compensation for having to buy visas and spend day in Sydney."

Pros: "We did reach our destination on time"
Cons: "no food or beverages, including water, provided without a fee. Baggage costs were nearly $50 per bag. Impossible to sleep on Overnight flight partly due to constant flight attendants moving cart down aisles. Also did not turn down lights to allow sleeping . No pillows or blankets provided. Minimal conveniences necessary considered standard on other airlines not provided. Would never fly this airline again. Traveled with three people. None of us slept at all. Seats constantly hit by people in seats behind ours. 9 hour flight, $10 to watch a movie which was interrupted by flight attendants. Longest flight of our lives"
Pros: "Efficient boarding."
Cons: "NO legroom in standard seats. I'm 6' tall and my knees touched the seat in front of me when seated all the way back in the seat. Closest spaced seating I've seen on an airline."
Pros: "Lucky enough to be upgraded to one of the emergency exit rows which has a seat in front of you still but further away with plenty of leg room."
Cons: "No thing really, you get what you pay for with no food supplied or entertainment"
Pros: "Jetstar agent was SUPER helpful with working out our checked baggage issue."
Cons: "The checked baggage policy was not clear to me when I booked our tickets. In particular, it wasn't clear that checked baggage fees applied, that those fees are quite reasonable if you pay them more than two hours before departure, and that they are exorbitant if you pay them when you check in at the airport. Jetstar needs to be more up front with how its checked baggage fees work."
Pros: "Best price for a flight. The crew and staff was top teir. They were wonderful on every flight I was on with them and that was 4 flights. They have their staffing down right."
Cons: "Only thing I could really say is that I didn't like was some of the other passengers."
Pros: "Crew was great, we left n arrived on time, all was good, except those seats. I'm 6'3", and even an aisle is so uncomfortable. My knees are smashed into the seat in frt of me. Least leg room I've ever seen"
