I liked the seats that I changed to. 2 seater was better and I had more room. 4 seats in a row were awful and too close especially when other passengers wanted to recline into your lap. There were no gluten free options offered for meals.

Flying Hawaiian for 9 hours made me appreciate other carriers and the improvements to the hard product they have made over the past decade. The seats were uncomfortable, made worse by reclining seats that really encroach on your own space. The IFE is slow and outdated; glad they stopped charging for it though. No outlets but there is a USB port that doesn’t really charge much. The crew on board was great, but the on ground staff still are pretty unfriendly (not mean), and boarding was chaotic. The food had small hits amongst some big misses; just because it’s free does not mean it’s good. All in all, still not a fan of Hawaiian, and probably won’t be for a while.

They sprayed a cloud of chemicals directly over our heads and we sat helpless as the spray settled onto our clothes and skin and into our mouth and lungs. I had a asthma attack, and when I told the stewardess she looked at me and said "It won't be much longer." It was another 15 minutes. I was so unwell that I asked my husband if he would be able to carry me if I passed out. I also unfortunately forgot my ebook reader in the seat due to my attack. When I wrote customer service I received only "We will forward your message" and no response beyond that regarding the return of my device. This entire experience has caused me great distress and I am sincerely hopeful that as a corporation you will take steps to ensure the welfare of your customers by ensuring they are aware of all treatments to expect when on board your aircraft. Had I known, I could have brought a mask and saved my serious asthma attack. I probably would not also be without my ebook reader."

Then, as if that wasn't enough, they announced that the flight crew was now over their legal limit for consecutive hours and they would have to find a new crew. I'm surprised there wasn't a full-on riot at this point. Everyone managed to remain calm, though, through the additional 1.5 hours we remained there waiting for the new crew-- with no compensation, no free drinks, not even WATER. Inexcusable, Hawaiian Air. You just lost a customer."

Disability assistance was horrible(wheelchair) assistance in SFO. I had NO assistance for 90 minutes to obtain a wheelchair while .d waiting to board my departure from SFO . The same was true but worse on the return to SFO. I was let off the plane LAST and the wheelchair was not there and I waited. The wheelchair person parked me outside the gate and said NOTHING and walked away. After 15 minutes waiting for his return, I went on my own and nearly passed out waiting in the horrible immigration line. It took 120 minutes from leaving the plane to getting in my car at the airport. Ridiculoius and a violation of Americans with Disabilities ACT."

Cons: "My flight was supposed to leave at 12, and all that Kept happening was me receiving text messages about delays pushing my departure time back to 5:35pm. I missed a big birthday event I was throwing for my class that I teach, lost out on money spent for the event and missed out on all the memories made that night. I never got to leave, ended up cancelling my flight. What a waste of time. Seems to always happen when I fly through United."

Cons: "i was delayed in ONT, making my flight an almost 24 hour trip from vONT to my destination. not fun had to reschedule car rental. luckily, they did not charge extra"
Cons: "Air Canada flight from Ontario to SFO was operated by United. Our flight was delayed by 2 hours and we ended up missing our connection. The customer service on the phone from both Air Canada and United would not take responsibility and continued to advise to call the other company to reschedule the flight. Not only did we miss our connection but our checked bag was rerouted onto another flight with no formal notification."

Pros: "Upon arrival at my gate departing to Durham with a 2 year old handful. I was excited to hear the attendant call for travelers with small children to board first. The thought of boarding at the same time as everyone else was giving me anxiety."
Cons: "Once I shuffled through tons disgruntled travelers because of my "child privilege" the attendant rolled her eyes and took a deep breath at the amount of time it took me to get to my ticket. Mind you, it makes sense I would have it somewhere convenient, but like I said single traveller, 2 year old handful. She scanned my ticket and flogged her hair in the air telling me take my stuff to the front of the plane. While the other attendant tagged all my items."

Cons: "Long wait for the flight delay, Long wait for take off, long wait pulling into gate. No outlet for rechargING phone, same on flight."
Cons: "Very Rude while talking to me at the airport. Was not happy to assist me and other passengers even though it was the air-line mistake for cancelling the flight and delaying the flight. Will never fly with this airline ever again."
Pros: "I didn't fly.I bought the ticket for my son. He had no complaints. You should ask in your questionnaire if the booked flight was for self or someone else."

Cons: "The plane landed to San Francisco earlier than scheduled, but we could not get off the plane due to the gate not available. We were stuck on plane for about half an hour and I really worried about making my connection. I hope such arrangements are conducted more smoothly."

Cons: "TSA took forever, other than that. My flight boards at 0540 and I got there exactly at 0545. The plane already made its way to the runway and wouldn't wait an extra 10 mins for passengers to enter."
Pros: "Three hours late. No in flight snack since the weather was too bad for the flight attendant to bring a cart down the aisles. Pretty old plane, so kind of uncomfortable. But the staff was really nice and friendly for it being the holiday season, so they get all two stars."

Cons: "The flight was expensive and they wouldn't let us or anyone place carry ons in the over head bin. It was an expensive ticket and didn't include checked bags ($25 more). Carry-ons wound up being "stowed". It would have been nice to know before I bought the tickets that I needed a smaller carry on."
Cons: "I paid good money to be back by 6am however I was delayed and had flights cancelled which made me get home 10 hours later than I should have. This was an overnight flight, so all the places to buy food were closed- United didn't offer snacks or blankets or really anything for the troubles. There were kids also stranded."
Cons: "The cramped conditions. By the way, please add a "N/A" or "not relevant" or "not interested" option to your rating selections. Or allow categories to be left not rated. There was no entertainment on my flight and even if there was I probably wouldn't use it. I don't want to leave a rating at all for that but there's no way not to."

Cons: "They over booked my flight, so I would have missed it had someone not gave up their seat for me. This was extremely disappointing begin that I had booked months in advance. I even picked my seats!"
