Cons: "The gentlemen in front of me left his window blinds up and it made it difficult to rest particularly since we flew in sunlight for 10hours. I asked him to close his blinds but he refused. The direction and time we were flying caused the sunlight from his window to fall onto my face and body. It made uncomfortably warm. Most other flights ive had, required customers to keep their blinds closed throughout the duration of the flight with the exception of take-off/landing"

Went to get boarding pass- had a small rolling suitcase (bought specifically for carry on and have used for last two years flying 6+ times per year) and a shoulder bag/purse. A woman flagged me down a so walked by saying my rolling case was too large an too heavy. I said “oh no i use this everytime i fly. It’s specifcally for carry on. Also it’s not even full so there’s no way it’s too heavy” also how would she know by looking how much it weights? In short she got very angry at me and said i have no choice but to check it. Then went over to counter and the lady said “you don’t need to check this is the correct size” she was very nice and i explained what happened. I’m just telling you this as maybe some of the newer employees are taking their jobs too seriously. Aloha!"

In flight movies were good but a little outdated. Seats were surprisingly comfy. Free headphones eyemask and earplugs. In seat phone charging."

Cons: "I can't tell you how disappointed I was to learn upon arrival in New Zealand, with no forewarning or preparation, that I was to be BUG SPRAYED before being allowed to leave the airplane. I have asthma. Being sprayed with chemicals is a serious health concern for anyone, but especially for those of us with asthma. They sprayed a cloud of chemicals directly over our heads and we sat helpless as the spray settled onto our clothes and skin and into our mouth and lungs. I had a asthma attack, and when I told the stewardess she looked at me and said "It won't be much longer." It was another 15 minutes. I was so unwell that I asked my husband if he would be able to carry me if I passed out. I also unfortunately forgot my ebook reader in the seat due to my attack. When I wrote customer service I received only "We will forward your message" and no response beyond that regarding the return of my device. This entire experience has caused me great distress and I am sincerely hopeful that as a corporation you will take steps to ensure the welfare of your customers by ensuring they are aware of all treatments to expect when on board your aircraft. Had I known, I could have brought a mask and saved my serious asthma attack. I probably would not also be without my ebook reader."

Gate agents were most unpleasant, for example, - started yelling at one woman that she couldn't go through the front of the line, even though she was simply trying to follow her blind mother! Cons: "Seven-hour delay due to mechanical failure. They finally found a new aircraft but one of the forward exit doors was inop so they had to rope off first and kick everyone in back to coach. This made a lot of people angry-- one so much so that he had to be ejected from the plane. This meant another hour of delay AFTER WE WERE ONBOARD. All the while, the only updates anyone got were along the lines of "There's a delay and we're working to remedy the situation." No explanation as to what was happening or when we would be taking off. Then, as if that wasn't enough, they announced that the flight crew was now over their legal limit for consecutive hours and they would have to find a new crew. I'm surprised there wasn't a full-on riot at this point. Everyone managed to remain calm, though, through the additional 1.5 hours we remained there waiting for the new crew-- with no compensation, no free drinks, not even WATER. Inexcusable, Hawaiian Air. You just lost a customer."

From friction burns on the knees from the seat directly in front of you, to virtually hosting your front neighbor's head in your lap when they recline. And I'm all of 5'8"! Even though easily +90% of the passengers were Americans, Australians, New Zealanders and Europeans, and that the flight was between 2 English speaking countries, we were addressed in Mandarin Chinese. Reminds me a bit of Air Canada with their often French bias."

Pros: "Online was very strict in not discounting anything. There was room in Business class and I paid full price. Most airlines have a deep discount when searched a few days before the flight. So, that might fill the vacancies in business and make me a faithful passenger. The disability assistance was very good in Bangkok and Taipei. Disability assistance was horrible(wheelchair) assistance in SFO. I had NO assistance for 90 minutes to obtain a wheelchair while .d waiting to board my departure from SFO . The same was true but worse on the return to SFO. I was let off the plane LAST and the wheelchair was not there and I waited. The wheelchair person parked me outside the gate and said NOTHING and walked away. After 15 minutes waiting for his return, I went on my own and nearly passed out waiting in the horrible immigration line. It took 120 minutes from leaving the plane to getting in my car at the airport. Ridiculoius and a violation of Americans with Disabilities ACT."

The airline finally posted that it would depart a 4 PM and we didn't even start boarding until 5PM. Then they tried to rush us on so that everyone was standing on the HOT jetway for 10 min waiting to get on the plane. Plane didn't take off til 5:35 PM. Over all on this trip I had three flights that were delayed. I'll think twice before taking American Air again."

Well, even if that's the fact of the matter, at least, be kind in responding to customer's inquiry. My son was seated across the isle, same row, but in reality the row was not even straight. And as a little boy, he cannot sleep straight and he has to lean to a stranger's shoulder? Thankfully I got a nice gent who should have sat next to him who were so kind to exchange seat with me. It's all in the attitude.... hopefully my attitude is not as bad :-) But maybe the gate agent was so tired for it was the last flight from ONT, at 1 AM. Bless her heart! Thank you though for your help to get the plane leave on time.!"

Cons: "American Airlines won't let you buy emergency row exit seats (or bulk head) because the 'code share' prevents them from advance seat sales. I was told I could do it at check in in Los Angeles. But those seats were sold out long before we even got to LA! I contacted American Airlines Customer Relations about 1 month prior to my flight. I completed their online form detailing the problem and asked if there is any way I could buy extra leg room seats. But they never even bothered to respond. I got the automated email acknowledging receipt of my complaint and assuring me I would be contacted soon. NOT!!"

I like Qantas but I have learned to abhor American Airlines (which operated this flight), next time I will probably use Air New Zealand purely because of the seat situation."

After that, the person in the aisle seat next to my husband was willing to swap her aisle seat for my new-found aisle seat. But on long flights, greater efforts should be made to seat couples together."

Pros: "Crew were great, especially considering we had a couple of mishaps travelling with a five year old and five month old. Despite being a mega long flight it was comfortable and we were well looked after."
Cons: "Seats are a little narrow on the exit rows and bulkhead as the armrests accommodate the TV and tables. This also means they can’t be moved. Not unique to Air NZ though."

Cons: "Check in clerk was mean nasty and said several times we could not fly because we didn’t have our tickets rather then helping us use the airport printer to print our tickets she said you can’t print you ticket until you show me your ticket. She should be fired it was united airlines won’t fly them again"

Cons: "Arrival time was delayed 2 hours and my itinerary fell apart. United could not assist me. I bought a ticket from Alaska Airlines from a different airport.to JFK."

Pros: "Upon arrival at my gate departing to Durham with a 2 year old handful. I was excited to hear the attendant call for travelers with small children to board first. The thought of boarding at the same time as everyone else was giving me anxiety."
Cons: "Once I shuffled through tons disgruntled travelers because of my "child privilege" the attendant rolled her eyes and took a deep breath at the amount of time it took me to get to my ticket. Mind you, it makes sense I would have it somewhere convenient, but like I said single traveller, 2 year old handful. She scanned my ticket and flogged her hair in the air telling me take my stuff to the front of the plane. While the other attendant tagged all my items."
Cons: "Very Rude while talking to me at the airport. Was not happy to assist me and other passengers even though it was the air-line mistake for cancelling the flight and delaying the flight. Will never fly with this airline ever again."
Pros: "I didn't fly.I bought the ticket for my son. He had no complaints. You should ask in your questionnaire if the booked flight was for self or someone else."

Pros: "What did I like like that the pilot let us know what was going on on every moment and the stewardess was very friendly"
Cons: "Seats very uncomfortable last flight 30 minute flight took an hour if not more and not knowing what gate my next flight is until I get there"
Pros: "This was a short flight. The only issue was the boarding. Took a while for me to get to my seat."
Cons: "TSA took forever, other than that. My flight boards at 0540 and I got there exactly at 0545. The plane already made its way to the runway and wouldn't wait an extra 10 mins for passengers to enter."
Pros: "Three hours late. No in flight snack since the weather was too bad for the flight attendant to bring a cart down the aisles. Pretty old plane, so kind of uncomfortable. But the staff was really nice and friendly for it being the holiday season, so they get all two stars."

Cons: "The flight was expensive and they wouldn't let us or anyone place carry ons in the over head bin. It was an expensive ticket and didn't include checked bags ($25 more). Carry-ons wound up being "stowed". It would have been nice to know before I bought the tickets that I needed a smaller carry on."
Cons: "It was delayed 3hrs!"
Cons: "I paid good money to be back by 6am however I was delayed and had flights cancelled which made me get home 10 hours later than I should have. This was an overnight flight, so all the places to buy food were closed- United didn't offer snacks or blankets or really anything for the troubles. There were kids also stranded."
Cons: "The cramped conditions. By the way, please add a "N/A" or "not relevant" or "not interested" option to your rating selections. Or allow categories to be left not rated. There was no entertainment on my flight and even if there was I probably wouldn't use it. I don't want to leave a rating at all for that but there's no way not to."

Pros: "Nice, respectful & very helpful attendance tall man @ the gait in SF prior boarding time. He help us getting the right seat for the trip. He was awesome help."
Cons: "Ontario delayed trip of almost 2 hrs. We could use that time more productively. Then, the other trip was a rush to made in time for Orlando. No entertainment in the plane."
Pros: "Everything went smoothly from arriving to the airport to landing and getting my baggage."
