Cons: "I had a family sitting next to me (I was in the aisle) and I felt that while the attendants were courteous and prompt in accommodating me, they all but ignored the people in the middle seats. I had to keep asking them on the attendant's behalf if they needed anything before they rushed on by. At one point the father told me that he was getting better service from me than the attendants. Also, one of the TV screens didn't work in one of the middle seats so the family had to do a switcharoo with their little one after they got settled so their son could have the working screen. I personally found that it was very difficult to recline my seat - I really had to quite literally put my back into it to get it to click into the reclining position."

It took a login to the Cathay Pacific web site to figure out that with the rescheduled time, I would miss my connecting flight from HongKong to Boston if I didn't change anything. I managed to sort it out, though it took using my cell phone to place an international call to the HongKong Cathay Pacific office to get me on an earlier flight. I don't think this is an acceptable level of service -- had I not had WiFi access or an international capable cell phone, I would have been stranded in Taipei or HongKong an extra day. I think CP could have done more to notify and help remediate the situation knowing the implication of the rescheduled flight. Food also remains mediocre, though slightly better."

Cons: "The water they were serving was not bottled and tasted like restroom water. However when I brushed my teeth in the restroom, it did not have that horrid smell and taste as the drinking water did. Two inflight staff was rude, Didn't get their names but both ladies blocked passengers way when they were trying to get back to their seats and rolled their eyes at a lot of passengers for various requests. Completely not professional!"

Cons: "The volume of the entertainment system changes every time there is an overall announcement from the aircrew or pilot. You have to turn it down or up again each time. As the announcements are in both English and then Chinese you have to do this a lot. The seats have a head rest section (as all airlines seats seem to do) that pushes your head even further forward meaning you get the dreaded head bobbing scenario when trying to sleep. When will airlines fix this problem.. its really easy to fix.. make the top of the chair thinner and further back in the upright position."

Anyway, having informed a crew member about my DVT condition, I asked if I could move in the empty area - mind you, that was after plane door was closed and boarding had been completed. She refused only to give after takeoff the area to a lady with a little dog in her purse. This flight was operated by United. Our household will from now on avoid any flight that's operated by United."

We slept on benches at the airport. To be fair to you, I will not recommend British Airway to anyone."

He this was our seventh plane ride in two weeks and nobody else has given us a problem.. After 10 days on the Camino DeSantiago the extra stress was not welcome.. The most unbelievable problem was the announcement just before take off that both rear toilets were out of action,since the flight was late this was an issue and I do not believe that both toilets could be broken more likely that there was no person available to clean them."

One man at security was even rude to me, telling me not to just stand there. ( I had been told to stand there whilst they went and tried to remedy for the umpteenth time). When I showed him my disabled badge and said I would personally prefer NOT to be left standing for hours, he said 'so?'. It was a nightmare. It took hours and still wasn't sorted and in the end the immigration officers had to be called to the boarding area to allow us on the flight with non functioning boarding cards. It wasn't even our fault. REally upset about it."
