Friendly staff, excellent food, a whole lot of good choices for onboard entertainment, comfortable ride, and good legroom even in the economy.

Direct connection to US. Otherwise no in flight food choice and food quality is poor. Not much entertainment choices and are outdated. I just starved and slept through the flight.

There is not much good to say. Boarding process is time consuming, food should improve a lot and entertainment choices are limited and outdated.

Leg room space and gap in beteen seats

Singapore airlines should update their meals plan for “Hindu NV”. I felt like it was not the best choice we had!

The most I like from Singapore airlines is the food comparing to other airlines. Also found a good movie to watch. Sometimes it's difficult to find an interesting movie on many airlines.

Cons: "I saw a scotch tape taping over the arm of the seat! This is rather amusing and seems unacceptable. This is Singapore Air that we are talking about. Are we saying that Singapore Air do not have any proper repair kit to fix it without using scotch tape?? Being one of the world's 5-star airline, I think Singapore Airline can do better than that. :)"

The check-in process was being done using pen, paper (lists on clipboards) and mobile phones by the Indigo staff. Instead of using proper computer terminals with custom-built applications. It was slow and laborious.

Everything was excellent.

The food and beverage selection and service were excellent to outstanding. Transfers / transfer desk /security checks at check-in was quite chaotic.

The staff was always courteous. Food options were really good as well as the snacks. They were generous with their beverages as well. Flights were mostly on time.

Pros: "I really like the Qatar flight from Auckland to Manchester. But beware now that the Akl leg leaves 1 hour later the transit in Doha is officially 1.15hr. But since the first leg is always getting in and you have to bus to the terminal, transit time is about 30 mins. Cons: "Due to a misunderstanding at check-in we have been seated away from a baby bassinette (although booked) to sit together with my husband, nobody asked what my preference would be (sitting as a whole family or having a bassinette) and a 17-hour flight with a 9month old baby constantly on my lap was challenging. Also a very disappointing selection of films and documentaries for adults. I ended watching a kids movie with my older daughter and it was the only thing I found appealing. Kids section very good though, my 5-year old was glued to the screen and all the options had my approval :)"

I had no problems with my layover. The baggage allowance was great as I had extra luggage from my trip. I'm very happy with their customer service, the day before my first flight I received a phone call from Qatar's customer service saying that due to delays I wouldn't be able to make my connecting flight to Edinburgh so they would like to book me on another flight instead of me having to wait 24 hours in Doha. I was thoroughly impressed with this service."

Cons: "Worst customer service ever seen in my 15years of flying experience. Initially charged $1000 for 3 tickets for modification of return trip - confirmed the same and tickets issued (i'm fine with this). But, after i made arrangements for new date, I got a call saying calculation error and asked to pay another $500 leaving me no choices. How can such a reputed airline have no tools to calculate the pay? Other airlines offered one-way for half of the price i paid. On top of it, online helpdek promised front line seat to satisfy me but nothing was offered even if i ask explicitly. Simply declined saying i am not in priority list. Why do they make false promises? Friends, Just don't fly in Qatar for food....."

Staff on board was cheerful. Airport staff was Ok, but the plane was late and the boarding by zones makes it very stressful because I was in the last zone and therefore wasn’t sure I could get my bag onto the overhead rack. Plane was FILTHY.

There was no food - in flight service very sparse - small bottle of water and small bite size chocolate - not sure why the need to come through the cabin like a big service production when they could easily have these items in seat pocket or on seat before boarding!

My baggage was lost several days

Luftansa over booking I canceled my flight 2 days before I left, so I called to reschedule but didn't answer, so I had to cancel. This has ruined my vacation plans and I already had to pay 3 days for a hotel reservation in Barcelona. I don't think I'll ever book this flight again in my life.

Multiple cancelled flights ended up cancelling the whole itinerary. Went on my own and booked directly the day of flight and am demanding full refund.

The mother had to stand up for some time to have the child curl up and lie in a comfortable position - the attendant rudely commanded her to sit down and strap the child to the seat, instead of finding out how they could help. She could have achieved it with a better attitude and choice of words. The crew did not bother beyond the bare minimum - it was painful to observe."

Departure was delayed 1.5 hours making connection at Heathrow (to SFO) extremely tight and stressful. BA provided no information at the airport about the schedule change -- not even at the gate. Only source of information was the BA mobile app which was only marginally helpful.

The crew was fantastic, the pilots did an amazing job, everything on schedule. Thank you!

Check in personnel were awesome! Weather problems in Chicago caused us to be on an earlier flight but our luggage didn’t make it to our final destination.

Cons: "This was the second flight out (we missed the original connection). By it being the next flight out we lost a night in Accomodation's that was already paid for with no chance of reimbursement."

Cons: "We had a quick trip planned to the go to London traveling from Amsterdam with British Airways. We were able to check in without a problem, but getting through airport security took a substantial amount of time, which caused sever delays getting to the gate. Once at the gate, we were told that we could no longer board the plane as the gate had already closed. Even more shocking, the service people told use that our entire itinerary (AKA our return flight) was cancelled as a result of this. You can imagine our frustration as we had tickets in hand looking at the door to the plane that we would have been allowed to walk through had security taken 5 minutes less. In the states, if airport security is holding you from missing your flight, this is communicated with the airline and proper arrangements are made. Unfortunately, this was not the case, forcing us to buy a new (last minute) ticket and losing a lot of money."

I broke that promise as I booked a flight in Virgin Atlantic which had connections on BA. 20 years later the service still sucks and has gotten worst. No more BA for me ever."

Cons: "None of them reminded me of the fact that I need a transit visa for the UK (I mean, isn't it rediculous? I am just staying there for 5 hours). When I called in for cancellation at the airline, they told me to talk to my agent company Cheaptickets. Cheaptickets simply told me that I can't get any money back, and was extremely arrogant and impatient. Later (for a week I was trying to save this ticket by talking to the British Embassy to see if I can get the visa done and they are just "we can't help you") they told me that I can get a refund of like 30 SGD and they promised to send me an e-mail about it. They never ever did. I also tried to change the dates and the handling fee + fair difference was like 1200 SGD (are you joking?) they simply told me, prices fluctuate... Finally I went to the check in counter desperate. The staff even refused to talk to me about my situation because simply, "there is no BA ticket office in Singapore" and told me to call them. I said the office is closed, but they are like, yeah just call them. They swept me off like a moron. Extremely arrogant, impatient, insensitive. I paid 900 SGD for nothing and a whole week of anxiety and regret. I will never take this and I will never use Cheaptickets or Kayak"

Cons: "First off they quote you rate and you pay. Then you find out that you have to pay more just to request a seat. Complete move motivated by pure greed and manipulating us the consumer. Even more so if you don't go and request your seat 24hrs before the flight they automatically assign you the middle seat so they can go and sell the better window and aisle seats. This pretty much makes me want to never use your greedy airline again. Also when I was boarding I get stopped and told my carry on was to large. THE VERY SAME ONE I BROUGHT WITH ME. Why is it too big now? They really had no answer other than they told me I had to check it. The lady was verbally aggressive with me about it. After I was backing down only because I was afraid of losing my flight she then requested a CC saying I had to pay for it. I was literally pulling things out of my bag holding in my hand for my flight. She insisted I had to pay for it. I pointed out that my ticket included 2 bags to begin with and I only used one she said it doesn't matter because its to big for the plane I have to pay. I'm beyond furious now as I'm dropping stuff out of my hands trying to manage everything. I'd like to point out this is just a small gym bag and its a lot smaller than my carry on suite case which I'm frustrated. I'm pretty much pissed off the whole flight to only be more at the end. When the plane lands and I'm getting off I notice every single person has a carry on suite case all of which are much larger than my gym bag. My freaking gym bag fits in the tiny locker at the gym. I HATE BRITISH AIRLINES they only succeed at swindling money from you."

Cons: "Sold as a BA flight but it wasn't BA but Vueling a subsidiary of BA. This is in the small print and feels like a deliberate misleading statement. Far worse than other budget airlines like easy jet. Poor organisation and lack of staff with adequate training resulted in lack of information, long queues at check in and delays with take off and baggage collection. Practically queued for 2 hours. Make sure you arrive at least 2 30 hours before check in or you may miss your flight."

When we finally got on the plane, the AC wasn't working at all so it was extremely uncomfortable for over and hour I'd say - I felt like I was going to pass out while we were waiting to actually take off. The in flight entertainment system didn't work very well at all - I started a movie 4 different times because it kept shutting off, and the fast forward feature didn't work at all... Then the option to play movies went away entirely. Food was very average... Didn't even eat all of mine."

Cons: "They cancelled our flight and the only reason we flew with them is so that we could fly on an L380. After they booked us on American Airlines, they rescheduled the flight that we really paid for. THEN, when we tried to check in at the airport we found out that BA did not actually book us on American even though they gave us seat assignments. We almost missed our flight home because of their horrible service. Will NEVER fly BA again."

When our flight was delayed, I mentioned about the reality of possibly missing our next flight. The air hostess asked whether we had booked all the way with AirNZ. When I answered no, but with a Star Alliance member (United Airlines), she didn't seem to care. I wonder at the purpose of the Star Alliance.

They could of announce when the were boarding. I did not like how the announcement all ran together.

Pros: "The staff was accommodating and worked hard to make us more comfortable and be helpful when possible- there was a lot of turbulence so dinner was served late and there was a lot of time we couldn't move about but they made the best of it."
Cons: "The added benefits of the Air New Zealand long flight planes of the entertainment like mini games and the footrest into bed as well as my husband and I not being seated in between two people but being on one side or the other."

Ground crew were super helpful and got us on the next flight 30 mins later. Cabin crew were great and sorted us out with water and snacks before take off as could tell we were desperate after flying in from London via Houston."

Pros: "The United flight had a great entertainment package (movies, tv shows, etc). The flight attendant who sat in front of us was awesome,and fun to talk to. She gave us some great tips about things to do while in Athens. The food was good (for airline food)."
Cons: "The flight from Newark to Athens was interesting. The flight changed gates at the last minute. The plane was towed to the new gate, then we found out that it was going to be delayed an additional hour due to required maintenance checks. Actually, I don't mind the additional maintenance checks, I want to arrive alive! We arrived in Athens 90 minutes after our expected time. We got seats in the exit row, however, we couldn't really enjoy the extra legroom for 2 reasons: 1) The exit hatch was right in front of my girlfriend who was sitting near the window. She couldn't extend her feet without kicking the door (I big no-no at 35,000 feet). 2) Our row was right in front of the bathrooms, so I had constant traffic bumping me in left shoulder and lines of people literally standing in front of me for the majority of the flight while waiting for their turn to use the bathroom. They are stepping on my feet constantly or passing gas in my face (I wish I was kidding)."

Cons: "Very poor quality food! For breakfast I received a rock-hard croissant and a fruit plate with 9 grapes and 4 tiny pieces of mellon. The 767 plane was extremely noisy. Good thing I have noise cancelling headphones. Limited selection of movies and for some reason I could not locate any song or music categories."
Pros: "One of the crew members was excellent, kinder than most. My bag made it on the flight in spite of the delay and very tight connection."
Cons: "No plugs in regular economy class makes it hard to use the United app for entertainment."

Cons: "All the food were terribly salty, inedible because the beef was hard like rock, I was unable to eat or chew. The sauce was salty and terrible so threw them away. In general, the food were inedible and poorly prepared that means they were not considerate and discreet about cooking, selecting material,too. The airline only pick the terribly cheap meat to scam and mistreat the passengers. I felt I was ripped off and sadden."

Cons: "Flight was actually non existent. It took us two days to get to our destination, Cancun so we lost a day of vacation there. We had to stay a night in Dallas and traverse all over the airport between American and Untied to chase down our vouchers for luggage, dinner, and rooms. Exhausting. We had to travel two hours in an old mini van from Columbia to St. Louis to even get started on our vacation flights. We did not have a pleasant experience with United on either side of the trip."
Cons: "Horrible communicatuon between the crew and passengers. Poor entertainment and comfort. The delay in Chicago was poorly updated and once the plane landed the flight taxied for upwards of a half hour."

Cons: "We were connecting to this flight after flying in from Rome. Initially we were scheduled for an 8:30pm flight, but after landing early asked if we could change to an earlier flight. They graciously bumped us up to a 7:30pm flight, which trimmed our 4-hour layover down to 3pm. Cut to 6:15pm...we find out that the flight is not delayed AN HOUR due to a "late inbound flight." Long story short, the 7:30pm flight ended up departed later than the 8:30pm flight we were originally scheduled on so we didn't get to LA until after we were originally supposed to!!"

Cons: "Comfort was as issue, I was assigned more leg room at the emergency row and the wall would be pushing against me, forcing me to go towards my neighbors side. Also, I had initially picked the last row to sit on, which was stated on my itinerary but when I printed my boarding pass, I got assigned middle of plane - which I did not understand nor complain about."

Cons: "Every time the crew came by with something (more food, duty free, custom forms) (which seemed very regularly) it was announced over the intercom so it made sleeping very difficult on the 11 hour red eye flight. Other airlines will just walk by and catch your eye if you are awake. Seats were quite small as well."
