I was very impressed with this airline. The flight was comfortable the plane was clean and the attendants were very nice. The zipper on my suitcase broke after I checked it. The airline wrapped it in plastic wrap, so it wouldn’t continue to fall apart. Every item I had in the suitcase was there when I got to Los Angeles. That is above and beyond!

This is not enough time, doesn’t allow for customs and immigration. It was a really stressful experience running between terminals with my luggage, as there was less than a 1 hour window after getting through customs and immigration, so the bag drop at international wouldn’t accept them. Got to departure gate 12 minutes before plane departure. You need more time to have a good experience !"

My husband was not able to board the flight - no refund, no help - and the sad part was, it wasn't for a holiday - it was to visit and help his 87yr old father-in-law who had fallen and cracked his spine. No sympathy from Virgin, VERY DISAPPOINTED!"

Pros: "Premium Economy was a good upgrade for me, it really helped on my way to my destination so I could sleep on the flight and then start my day when we landed. The Movie & Menu selection was enjoyable. This was a good flight with an attentive and courteous crew!"
Cons: "Overall, the cabin could use some updates. Seats feel's very 1980's. The older LCD screens generate a lot of heat and wash out the picture a bit, there are better LED/OLED options for airlines on the market."
Pros: "Big, safe plane. The pilot striving to land us close to the originally-scheduled time, even though we boarded the plane an hour late. He did it! A++ to Qantas for providing a spigot at the back of the plane to refill water bottles, thus lessening the amount of plastic used."
Cons: "I ordered vegetarian meals and they were TOO SPICY. Being served a flaming hot tomato curry and spicy potatoes for BREAKFAST was ridiculous."
Pros: "It was a safe flight."
Cons: "I have flown Qantas several times across the Pacific and have had much better experiences on the longer flights. Everything was delayed, the plane was small, and the food was pretty bad, even by airplane food standards. I just expected more given what I have come to expect from Qantas."
Pros: "The Singapore Qantas lounge is well set up, despite one or two small issues. Boarding was easy after the usual Singapore gate lounge procedures. On board the crew (led by Brigita) could not have been better. I LOVE the 1 -2 - 1 business configuration. Meals and refreshments on board were just great and I enjoyed that the crew didn't disturb me (Emirates are particularly rude in this regard) when it was clear I was sleeping until descent."
Cons: "Qantas, being an Australian airline, I am clueless as to why, in the airline lounge: Australian Sauvignon Blancs are not available (NZ phewee!) Bundaberg Rum (Ozzie icon) is not available. For a major hub, it is also not clear why a separate business lounge doesn't operate."
Pros: "Excellent service from counter to end of flight, well dine"
Pros: "Excellent service but surprised that the entertainment system was a bit old and the food tried to be too fancy but the quality was lacking."
Pros: "Qantus flights were great, really appretiated the extra care they took in ensuring we made our connecting flights after delays and then compensated us for American Airlines stuff up with our luggage."
Cons: "Five hour delay due to faulty maintenance at LAX. Pilot (rightly) refused to fly until maintenance work correctly completed. Plane then diverted to Brisbane to change crew, en route to Melbourne."

Cons: "The food. I had asked for a Hindu meal. It seemed I got a diabetic meal which was devoid of taste. It should have been normal. I think Etihad misunderstood Hindu meal with Jain food,where they don't use spices,onions,garlic etc."

At least 4 were sitting not on their seats in row 15 and 16, these are what I saw"

Pros: "The seats on the flight were TREMENDOUSLY uncomfortable. As a 6’1” tall, male, I truly felt like a sardine in a can on the flight. And, for a 7-hrs flight, the food made available, I did not find to be sufficient."

Cons: "The flight did not take off on time, either from NYC to Abu Dhabi or Abu Dhabi to Islamabad. From Abu Dhabi to Islamabad, it was almost an hour late."
Cons: "After I had run from one end of the airport to the other to go through customs and catch my connecting flight and boarded with 15 minutes to spare, I was pulled off by one of your officials and was not given a reason as to why. The flight attendants were talking about sweeping any areas of the plane that I had been in. It was when we had almost reached customs that I was informed that another passenger who was stuck in Customs had mentioned my name and that is why I was pulled off. So, I was treated like a criminal and questioned and threatened by the customs official who went and searched my belongings to see if I'm lying about what I brought with me. They then tried to get me to fly with the other passenger just because we knew each other, even though I clearly and repeatedly told them I am not traveling with that person. I suppose this isn't all Etihad's fault, but if you are pulling passengers off of your plane, don't ignore their questions and treat them like criminals. Also, when I got back on, the filght attendants were unsympathetic about my situation and smiled it off. It ruined my whole flying experience. Also, the buttons to adjust A/C and call flight attendants was really high up and hard to reach for a petite woman."

You now have to pay to get an exit row like budget airlines and I had to go two days without my bag. Total nightmare. Then I couldn't recheck in to change seAts online. Food was disgusting."
