Passengers waiting to board individually questioned why we had not started boarding yet when information screens in the airport displayed otherwise. We did not start boarding for a 12 hour international flight until ten minutes to scheduled take off. The first time we were informed about the delay as a group was after we had entered the aircraft."

Cons: "I had a 3 hour layover in Auckland before my connecting flight to Queenstown on the South Island. Quantas delays in Melbourne wiped that out forcing me to pay $500 NZD for a later flight on Air NZ. After contacting with Air NZ customer service and explaining the circumstances, they reduced it to $100 NZD. Pretty cool. Quantas basically said that since I had purchased a rock bottom priced ticket I should take a flying you know what at a rolling donut."
Cons: "Had the weather in Wellington cooperated, I would have made it to the AKL-SYD leg and, most likely, would have enjoyed the travel experience. I plan to fly WLG-AKL tomorrow evening via another airline. Please rebook me onto Qantas tomorrow in evening."
Cons: "After a three hour delay and missed connection and rebooked flight, that is when the service declined. We went through 4 different lines in the Dallas airport, almost missed the rebooked flight due to miscommunications and shuffling of where we were supposed to be. And now delayed luggage."

Cons: "A very small glitch was the cabin service. The cabin announcements were read out too fast to follow! Also, the cabin crew seemed to be in a rush to move the food tray away even though I was still sipping my juice. Maybe this was the early morning energy ...Slow down, guys!"

Cons: "ruin my seat arrangement for no reason! We were traveling as a family of 7 (2 grandparents from each side, my husband, my 4 year son and myself). We paid $30 per person per seat so that we could sit together and watch out for each other because some of the grandparents are in their 80's. However, when we checked in, we found out all our seats were re-arranged and in the worst possible way! Our 4 year old child was assigned in middle seat no where near my husband or myself. In addition, the family was divided in half, separated by the service station. I had switched seat so I can sit with my son but my husband had to sit at the other side of the service station to take care of the other half of the family because they do not speak English. I was left to attend to my 4 year old son by myself, which was hard to do. what bothers me the most is that there seem to be no obvious reason for them to re-arranged seats in such a devastating manner - it was not a full flight at all. I saw quite a few empty seats in the back. We spoke to the woman who was the head of the stewardess about the problem upon boarding, she said she would try to see what she could do, but she never got back to us at all. The seats were horrible seats for a few reason. First, there were a lot of traffic and noise from crew and other passengers because they were next to the Service station. Second, we were always the last one to receive food service because of the location. This is a problem when you have 4 year old and 80 years old who were diabetics."

Cons: "Qantas is the source of unlimited frustration for us. We could not check in online, and it wasn't even possible to choose a seat before you got to the airport unless you wanted to pay a premium for it. To make matters worse, there is no transparency in the process; we had no idea what seats they were assigning us, or even whether the three of us would be able to sit together. And when we showed up at the airport, the last leg of my flight had been deleted from my itinerary (but not that of my family members). And guess what? They couldn't do anything about it until I was ready to get on that last flight! The crew were great, but all the behind-the-scenes aspects of Qantas were absolutely horrible. Two days later I'm still reeling from the experience. What a terrible way to treat customers."
Cons: "This is the worst travel i've ever had. Got stuck in sydney because the first flight was delayed. I booked emirates and payed more to be on an emirates flight and to avoid flying with qantas. As qantas operated the first delayed flight i missed all my connecting flights and i'm still teavelling right now. Still in sydney. Never going to book through here again!"

Cons: "Our first flight to LAX was delayed by 7 hours so we spent the day in Sydney airport, spending more money on meals that hadn’t been planned. Because of the delay, we missed our connecting flight from LAX to JFK. The flight we were re-booked on was also delayed for mechanical/paperwork issues so we arrived back home in NYC 8 hours later than originally scheduled. This caused us to spend more money on a taxi since it was too late to take public transportation. it also made it difficult to settle back in at home because both my husband and I had to get up early for work the next day and we missed several hours of unpacking and cooking time we would have had had our flight not been delayed."

The gentleman that helped us was lovely but system issues kept us at check in a very long time and unfortunately that together with the crazy insanely long distance to our gate- then only to take a bus- we did not have time to pick up any food or make any stops which we counted on and had arrived 2.5 hours ahead of time to check in to allow for."
Pros: "The flight wasn't full and so there was more space to spread out than is normal on long-haul flights."
Cons: "For the second time on a Madrid/JFK flight in two weeks, overhead lights were broken for some seats, which is absurd for a 7.5 hour flight. Luckily, my flight attendant was kind enough to allow me to change seats to one in which the overhead light was actually working. Unfortunately, the plane was so busted that even though my overhead light was working, the headphone jacks in both of the seats that I had access to went off in the midst of food service, and as far as I could tell was never reset. Finally, and most appallingly, one of the flight attendants was completely out of control, and during the boarding process repeatedly and loudly scolded passengers. During service, she rammed the food cart into multiple seats so hard that food flew out of it onto the floor. Rather than apologizing to the customers whose seats she had rammed, she laughed loudly"
Pros: "NOTHING !! I lost my flight because in the email I received you all put the wrong airline on it and nobody took responsability for it . I ended up paying $311.00 to get the next flight back to Austin ."
Cons: "In the email it was stated that my first flight was with British Airways, so i wasted time making the wrong line . Only to get to the counter and waste more tome trying to find me in the system to then tell me my flight is with American Airline . I double check my email where it clearly shows: 1st flight-British Airway and 2nd flight-American Airline . This is not acceptable, nobody wants to take responsability for sending me the wrong information in the email. Had I know both of my flights were with American Airline I wouldn’t lost my plane because I would make the right line to begin with ."

Cons: "When I bought the basic economy tickets and it felt like they intentionally on every flight had us in the same row but not next to each other. It was bizarre because in planes with 2 seats on each side they put us one on each side. Then they put us in the middle when there were 3 seats and separated another husband and wife in our same row. I an chose other airlines that seat us next to each other without paying 30$ more per seat per flight. I am a mileage plus card holder too."

Cons: "Our flight to Denver was delayed by 3 hours, so I had to wait for 5 hours. Supposedly we were waiting for another plane because the original plane had a damaged wing. Who knows if these things are true. Maybe they just don't have enough pilots. I missed my connecting flight. Less time unboarding"
Cons: "Service for people not able to sleep on the long haul"
Pros: "The staff was accommodating and worked hard to make us more comfortable and be helpful when possible- there was a lot of turbulence so dinner was served late and there was a lot of time we couldn't move about but they made the best of it."
Cons: "The added benefits of the Air New Zealand long flight planes of the entertainment like mini games and the footrest into bed as well as my husband and I not being seated in between two people but being on one side or the other."

Ground crew were super helpful and got us on the next flight 30 mins later. Cabin crew were great and sorted us out with water and snacks before take off as could tell we were desperate after flying in from London via Houston."

Cons: "Flight from Chicago to Zurich-staff required me to check my bag at the gate and pick it up upon arrival to our final destination in Krakow. The flight arrived late, which made us miss our connection. We were re-routed to Munich and then to Krakow. The bag was delayed 24 hours. The reason I only bring a carry-on is so that this situation would not happen. I have never been required to check my carry-on in the past. It was not a pleasant start to our vacation. I had really been looking forward to flying Swiss airlines as I had heard great things about it. I was extremely disappointed."
Cons: "The video on both movies and tv selections froze every few minutes making it virtually impossible to watch a program. Frustrating on an 8 hour flight."
