Cons: Scrambled eggs were kind of bland Maybe some variety of sauces to spice them up a bit

Cons: Tiny parking spaces in lot. Low clearance in underground lot.

Cons: The pool area should have some lounge chairs and a bit more privacy.

Cons: One of the breakfast staff was rude. He took breakfast a little too seriously.

Cons: The closet was only about a foot from the side of the bed. It made it hard to get in to. But all the plusses of the hotel made it insignificant.

Cons: The adjoining motel hasn’t been remodeled and looks pretty sketch - glad we were not in that wing.

Cons: Could use a refresh (it's old feeling) however I'm afraid that will raise the price too much.

Cons: Fitness room was too small and lacking quality and variety, Room was hot with noisy air conditioner. Conversations in hall seemed like they were always right outside door

Cons: Bed made too much noise , not comfortable

Cons: Furniture was nicked/had holes in it. Air conditioning was a cheap portable one you could pick up at Costco. Staff got my order wrong, still charged full price after remaking it. Bed was stiff and squeaky.

Cons: Maid service - failed to replace washcloths and all pillows on bed

Cons: The couch in the living area was small and a bit uncomfortable.

Cons: Valet parking could be difficult as there was only space for a few cars at a time. The bar at the bottom level was very popular, so much so that I wasn't allowed to enter as they were at capacity. I took my business elsewhere. The balcony door didn't seal super well, so there was a bit of a draft in that area.

Cons: we were surprised there was no fridge in the room, that would have been helpful.

Cons: Walls were a bit thin, we could hear people in the hallway talking. They sounded like they were in our room.

Cons: The WIFI in our room was unusable in spite of high signal strength. After two days of making calls to Delta's tech support with no success, we finally gave up and used the internet in the lobby. We were unimpressed with the support offered by the staff.

Cons: Very few carts to haul uggage to room. That being said, the front clerk called and had a cart delivered to our room very quickly.

Cons: A bit out of the way for getting to the rest of Victoria. One traveller unable to walk well.

Cons: Many rooms have no view.

Cons: No safe in the room for valuables.

Cons: Reserved a room with a king bed. We were traveling from Seattle via the clipper that couldn't sail due to the marine forecast. Once we realized our trip was going to take 7 hours via buss to reach the hotel, I called to notify that we would be arriving late and was assured my room would be ready and that we would have a king bed, not 2 doubles. We arrived at the hotel and no king beds were available. But then the representative said I could upgrade for $40 more per night and beaten down by the 7 hour trip I agreed to pay the fee. Then we get the bill and it was $60 + $4.85 PST + $1.21 MRDT + $3.03 GST. I understand that the taxes are what the are but should have been quoted them and the hotel should have honored the quote made on arrival. I was offered $10 per night discount by the manager but still feel mislead. As a Marriott rewards customer for years and one who has stayed at Marriott properties all over the world, I will not be returning to this property. The maid service was also poor. The room was not vacuumed nor were the sheets ever changed on our 3 night stay. Additionally when we arrived there was left over spoiled food in the fridge. Lastly they did not replace plates and silverware in the kitchenette and when we came back to the room with takeout, we had to eat out of plastic containers. I do not recommend this property. If you are accustom to Marriott service and hospitality, you will not find it here.

Cons: Wish the swimming pool had been larger, not quite big enough for lap swims, wish they had provided a changing room in the pool restroom. Wish they had provided a small fridge in the room.

Cons: Bed was very uncomfortable.

Cons: The bed wasn't great but not much worse than you would find anywhere else. Very dark in big bad Johns
