This is not a good place. You could hear people talking.
Three was a bar next door
The price is not worth it
This is the worst hotel i ever been, its so dirty specialy the room, and its so noisy, theres some cracking sound next to the window its there all night! you can hear clearly talking other next door, the hotel says its non smoking but i can smell next door smoking weed! Dont waste your money there!
The hotel is not downtown but close. About 5 minutes away by car. My room was clean, spacious, and well stocked with every thing you would want from a hotel room. It was a good price as well.
Got what I asked for.
I was tired and looking for a quiet rest. When I asked the woman at check-in for a quiet room so I could get some much needed sleep, she said she'd do her best, and she did. My room was quiet and I had 2 nights with good sleep.
Everything I needed was there
Wasn't in walking distance to downtown and a little pricey
Enjoyed my stay very much good value for the price
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great and easy to get around victoria. The restaurant inside was quite cute with a good breakfast.
Due to a staff shortage, our room was only cleaned one day. Also we had to move rooms due to a funky smell in the first one we were given.
no clock, poor TV reception,
no clock, poor TV reception,
Management's inability to control noise (especially loud talking and door "slamming" associated with younger "partiers" in two adjacent rooms.
5-minutes out of downtown, but totally worth it
location was not winter reservationist indicated it was
the bar & grill attached to it
lack of communication between staff
Beds were comfortable. Extra pillows provided without having to ask. Sink outside bathroom is convenient.
Room was not made up properly. Beds were not re-made, towels taken were not replaced. Biggest complaint is that the hallways were extremely smoky even though the room itself was fine. There must be a vent that is bringing in the smoke. All our friends had the same complaint. I hate all the little lights (smoke detector, air conditioner, clock, etc. etc.). I have the same complaint at every hotel! Hotel is adequate if somewhat dated.
Convenient,quiet and affordable
Lack of large towels, bath anti slip mat missing, beds not made properly fitted sheets not put on properly causing them to slip and bunch up during the night. Lack of direction and signage to and from underground parking, not even included in guest directory.
A little far from city center
Very quit, friendly, helpful staff.
carpet was stained, disappointed to find that the restaurant is not open on Sundays for dinner. This was very important feature for us.
staff friendliness and helpfulness
our room was next to a very noisy compressor that would make sleep impossible. Even though we reserved 2 weeks ahead the only other room available was a suite for $50 a night. We took it because there was no other choice unless we looked for another hotel but we chose this one for the location. It was an unexpected and unwelcome expense. Also, the counter staff was too busy and we often waited
