Cons: Riverwalk is very popular but very touristy, and most restaurants therefore not very good.

Cons: Very hot elevators, sink did not drain, beds mattresses need to be replaced

Cons: We paid extra for double beads, with taxes, extras, etc. and paid 300$ with discounts. It was an inner room with no view/ window.

Cons: Facilities are in poor shape. Appear to be redoing during our stay. Location is good. Molars spa is very nice.

Cons: Very old hotel. Our first room had a broken faucet. Second room was better but needed updating. A ton of road noise and party people on Friday night. Very expensive especially the breakfast buffet which could have been larger for the price.

Cons: no AC in hallways, bedroom ac did not work that well. Needs to be updated for sure.

Cons: Had to pay for wifi. Verizon cellular service barely worked in our room, cell & text functioned poorly, data did not work, so we did not have internet access during our stay.

Cons: Bad irons . . . One spat red stuff with the steam function . . . the replacement was dirty. But the staff replaced them no problem

Cons: The card reader on the door did not work well. Took at least 10 tries before it actually opened the door. The carpet isn't the greatest. Have to pay for wifi.

Cons: My room was on the street side and the traffic was very loud. I would recommend a room on the river or interior part of the building.

Cons: The bad news is that the hotel is right on the River Walk so you're right in the heart of the action. A lot of noise from the River tour boats and people, so if you're looking for quiet - this isn't the place.

Cons: The only complaint is there is no hotel shuttle to area attractions.

Cons: If you hear the alarm, call the front desk. It's a parking garage across the street. They don't own it. It shuts off quick, but the front desk won't hear it, so call them .

Cons: Slow elevators. Some of the hotel room doors had windows which was a bit odd.

Cons: I had a spa service at the spa that is not owned by the hotel, but located inside the hotel on the River Walk level. It was not a good experience and then I was overcharged for it.

Cons: Construction on the second floor during the day.

With construction across the street waking you up at 6:40 am, easily hearing the conversations of others in the hall ways and flushing of toilets, sleep was easily disrupted. shower tub and carpet had stains/not fully cleaned. bathroom fixture groves had visible dust collected. really small pool, not sure if its that i'm from Miami, Fl where there is many pools. its about the size of the elevator hallway and maybe 4 ft deep.

Cons: Couldn't get the room cool enough. Didn't sleep very well due to the room not being cool enough. Very humid.

Cons: Restaurant prices.

Cons: The roof deck pool wasnt heated - quite chilly up there!

Cons: I paid for a balcony overlooking the river and the hotel doesn't even offer them. They told me that sites like yours are known for promising things that don't exist. I am very disappointed with my reservation price!!!!

Cons: My only compaint about the hotel is the cost of parking. Valet parking is $40 and self parking is $30 per night. Very expensive. If you stay a few nights parking ends up costing you as much as an additional night's stay.

Cons: Room was a reasonable size but bathroom was a little bit worn. On the one day we forgot to leave a tip, the cleaning staff did a less than adequate job cleaning the room.

Cons: I think having breakfast included like other chains do would be a nice addition

Cons: Hotel was dated. Too expensive for what we got. Upon return to our room we discovered our AC was not working. Front desk sent up a tech but he couldn't fix it. So they gave us a fan.... No one from mgmt contacted me and no apologies. Just nothing. I paid less for my room at the beautiful La Cantera the night before.

Cons: Long walk to the elevators. Ice machine was out of order.

Cons: The room worked for what I needed, but it could have been better. The bathroom was small and was, for some reason, built 6-8 inches higher than the rest of the room. You could hear everything through the walls.

Cons: The full sized beds. Our cleaning guy did not do a great job at all. There was someone else's hair all over the wall in the bathroom.

Cons: No ventilation in the room, so bring a small portable fan. Events in the plaza across the street (protesters, musicians) can be quite loud and go on late into the evening. The card/lock system for the room often malfunctioned and wouldn’t let us in.

Cons: Room was small, and it's the first time I've seen a full size hotel bed in a long time. Fine for one person, might be challenging for two.

Cons: A bit noisy at night - one night it was loud drunk tourists, once it was random construction at restaurant in mall next door, & once the fire alarms went off. I don't think it's the hotel's fault though.

Cons: Needs a little updating. Understand the historical aspect to the hotel, but still. Not sure if the heater wasn't working, but our room was freezing. Attempted to higher the temp, but to no avail. Didn't want to but front desk at 2am.

Cons: They could use better vending machines, but then again I have never been to a place that has great vending machines.

Cons: Beds are quite narrow. Air conditioning went out one night. Thankfully, it was repaired the next day.

Cons: Ordered breakfast off the restaurant menu. It was high priced and the portion size was small. 1 breakfast taco with sides was $16!

Cons: The size of the room. But looked at the other rooms and i guess for a bit more you gst more space.

Cons: Small bathrooms were the only thing, but you have to consider that this building is very old and that adds to its attraction as a romantic place to stay.

Cons: The parking is very expensive. Thirty dollars per day - but it is expensive in the entire city and you do have unlimited in and out privileges. The hotel is really old so it has a few rough edges. The pool tiling needs a bit of repair, some of the doors stick a bit, the elevators are small, floors are a little uneven and a bit sloped here and there, etc. It has a lot of "character", but I guess refurbishing an old hotel is like restoring an old car, you never quite manage to get all of the rattles out of it.

Cons: Servers to the tables not available in the bar during a busy time, had to get up and wait in line at the bar.

Cons: You can see the age of the hotel in the rooms! The bathroom was extremely small but usefull. The valet it's on the expensive side!!

Cons: My room key stopped working when I returned to the room after taking a swim at the pool and had to wait wet about 10 mins till they came up and replaced the key.

Cons: My room had way too much wear and tear. The head board was all scratched up. The tub has cracked and rusted and was clogged up the water would not drain when i took a shower. The door handle was at 5 o clock instead of 3. The room did not feel like a Grand Hyatt room. It felt like i was at a cheap hotel. I suggested to the manager that that room should not be occupied untill it get fixed.

Cons: HAVING TO PAY FOR INTERNET AT THE BUSINESS CENTER AND FOR LOCAL CALLS. YUCK

Cons: Cost me $88 to park for two nights.

Cons: Rooms are dated with sound transmitting walls. Amenities are business travel grade without the higher end amenities expected for the price.

Cons: I didn't like that when checking in they ask for my credit card again after I had already paid $857 online. Not knowing that valet was not included they kept trying to swipe different amounts to charge and blocked my card for suspicious faudulent charges. Terrible communication cuz they could've asked me what card I wanted to use, nothing. Also valet customer service was horrible while my sister was arriving in her vehicle with my nephews she asked for help carrying her luggage off and was ignored by valet. He could've called someone for help, but definitely not worth the money, never again

Cons: Valet Parking was $37 + Tax = $40.00!

Cons: Train noise in the early morning hours outside the hotel and noisy visitors next door and down the hall.

Cons: One if the employees seemed to have a little bit of attitide considering that all I asked for was to have shaving cream sent to my room. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Cons: the location is sort of outside the city and we had to drive approx 20 - 30 mins to get there. Coming from california, I am not used to the turnarounds and had to make a couple attempts to get here. The crew started working on pulling the carpet and replacing the carpet right outside our door. Good thing that we were checking out that morning, but we had to leave the hotel with carpet dust in our lungs and banging outside our door. coming to think about it, I guess there is never a good time to work on replacing the carpets in a hotel. Its always busy in a hotel. :)

Cons: We got the handicap room without knowing.

Cons: Shower was slippery and tub has slight decline which makes it slippery,when unaware of decline.For children it is dangerous. Needs to have non-slippery strips in tub to prevent falling in shower.

Cons: The parking lot is a nightmare sometimes. The lines in the lot are not painted very well, so you have people parking way to close or way to far away. I actually had an issue with someone parking so close that I could not get into my drivers side which caused a major problem for the rest of my family to be able to get in. I did call the police station and asked what my options were for getting the other vehicle towed, and they said it was up to the hotel since it's private property. Well, I let the staff know and even took them out there to show them. The staff assured me they would get it handled, needless to say it wasn't handle the next morning. I had to have my six year old daughter climb into our vehicle and hand me items to help make room for me so u could squeeze my way in. It was very inconvenient for me and my family.

Cons: Musty, wet dog smell that just would not go away. I tried changing the temperature and fan settings, but it wouldn't leave me. Bring some perfume/cologne just in case you leave smelling somewhat musty.

Cons: We thought we booked a room with a pullout couch. When we got there, did not have one. Had to book another room. But gentleman was very courteous & helpful. Exchanged a king bed for room with two queens at same rate! No up charge! Very thankful! Would book again. Thought this was close to Alsmodome. Was about 15-20 minutes away.

Cons: The restroom was clean except the bath tub it had a few hairs that weren't ours. Also the AC wouldn't get cold.

Cons: The staff here are very inconsiderate of your needs and are not willing to help when asked. There are other places out there that you can get for a better deal and not be treated with disregard and contempt. I waited 45 minutes at the airport for the shuttle to show up when I called for the shuttle immediately upon arrival. I called the hotel after waiting curbside for 20 minutes. The front desk staff (Steve) then lied to me and told me that there was traffic which was causing the shuttle to be diverted, but when talking with the driver he told me there was no traffic at all. Google maps had also confirmed that earlier.
