Cons: We did not like the food, and we were disappointed in the lounges. Our food was not good, the presentation was not appetizing, and the dessert was burned Did not even want to pay for it. Breakfast was a little better, but still not great.

Cons: Yes, many things! I had internet issues, a very unstable ironing board which caused the iron to fall of onto my toe (luckily not the hot end), and black gunk on the iron when I went to iron my pants which left a black mark. It was not great.

The hotel's location is directly on a loop of the riverwalk which is good because it puts you right into the attraction, but is not on the main section so it's much quieter and easier to find a dining place. Parking is available across the street from the hotel and the street itself is not as busy as those nearer the Alamo.
Cons: Parking at the hotel is a ridiculous $36/night and they charged for two parking spots for our two motorcycles even though we actually had both bikes consolidated out of the way in the valet area not even in the parking garage. That was irritating.
The hotel staff were polite but very cold and decidedly unfriendly. Don't believe I did anything to be offensive or difficult - I didn't even argue about the parking issue - but all of the desk staff (two in the evening, one in the morning) gave the impression they had much better things to do than speak with me.

Cons: Our one and only critique, and rather silly at that, after pulling in with our vehicle and stopping at the front valet, the attendant seemed almost shocked when we said, yes we would like you to park the car, and replied with an almost doubtful "are you sure? Wouldn't you like to hear the prices?" Though I'm sure he was just trying to do his job and avoid later frustration, the tone in which he asked us the question was borderline offensive. Young man if we can afford to stay where we are staying we certainly assure you we can afford to park.

Cons: My one issue was the extremely firm bed. If you like very firm mattresses then this wont be an issue for you, but it was moderately uncomfortable to us. I hate paying for parking, but when you are downtown, it is what it is.

Cons: Parking around downtown is atrocious and full of pricing traps. That's not the hotel's fault, but when faced with $32 valet, you have to look. I blame the hotel because the hotel was no help when we called, while on the way, about parking downtown. They just kept saying they had valet and had no lot advice. It started te trip off bade. Also, the photos are deceptive as the lobby is not grand in any manner. It is tiny and dirty. Also, the elevators they show are just props. No grand hotel, no grand entrance... then up to a tiny room!

Cons: Breakfast buffet included with my stay only provided free meals for two of my party of four. Coupons were given for half off each for the other two in our party. Everything I had from the restaurant for breakfast wasn't very good, even for a buffet. Elevators were confusing as parking had it's own elevator and every time I used it, I had to change elevators to get to my room/car. Other guests expressed similar confusion. I called ahead to say I was running behind and asked if there parking available. When I arrived I was told it was $27 per night and that was the best price I was going to find. I thought it was a little high but I suppose I should've looked deeper into my booking to avoid that surprise, as well as only half of my party getting free breakfast.

Cons: The hotel was okay. It's an older hotel which is fine, but it's not worth the money charged. The floor we stayed on smelled of urine as soon as we got off the elevator, as though someone couldn't make it to their room or a poor homeless soul somehow made it to the 4th floor. The sickenly sweet fragrance that was used to possibly cover it up was just as bad. We reported this to the staff and it was met with little concern from the person at the front desk. We were only staying the night and had it been a longer stay I would have left and gone someplace else. Certainly not worth the $400 plus charge. Would not recommend this hotel.

Cons: I stayed here 5 years ago and since then, the rooms and bathrooms seem more run down and not kept up. The air conditioner wasn't working correctly, so we had to have maintenance come in at 10pm to fix it. We had to keep it on 63 the entire weekend. The toilet was not bolted down securely to the floor so it clanked around when you sat on it and one of the light fixtures in the bathroom was broken.

The hotel is on the river walk but at the end mikes away from Riverwalk entertainment.. also drawer in room will not close if you try and close them they open right back.

Cons: Room had no heat or phone. No fridge either. Called desk and after much discussion they moved us. Finally had heat. The heating system is stacked up to 5 rooms.
