Pros (+) Location, location, and location! Hotel is right across the Alamo with plenty of cheap public parking around the area. Also, the warm chocolate chips cookies from the front desk are a plus.
Cons (-) Outdated hotel facility and Kayak's incorrectly rated hotel stars do not match the overpriced money for my stay.

Pros (+) The location was great. Short walk to the convention center, riverwalk, alamo. The staff was also very friendly and nice.
Cons (-) The building is old and the rooms show it. My first night there was a some fan, or machinery noise that made it impossible to sleep. I was able to switch rooms that night which was nice. One morning I had no hot water. The staff listened, but didn't seem concerned about it. I only had one breakfast at the hotel restaurant, but it was quite underwhelming and definitely not worth paying for.

Pros (+) Great location. Comfortable view.
Cons (-) Parking was difficult. I wish the stay came with parking instead of having to use valet. I had to pay for valet and to park right outside each day as I have to have quick access to my car. Although it was a nice hotel, I won't be staying here again.

Pros (+) The view from the room was fantastic! The location is also great!
Cons (-) The room felt like it needed to be steam cleaned with bleach... The room appeared to be updated sometime in the early 2000. But has not been maintained well. The bed was as hard as the floor. The shower head was loose and the bathroom smelled of old urine. We ordered Breakfast to our room the first morning. Pros (+) This hotel was very nice! Our room was ready when expected and they placed us with a corner room with a great view, for no extra cost. Staff were great and the check in/check out process was so simple! The location could not have been better for the main attractions, such as the Alamo and Riverwalk. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
